3 suites avec intimité et vue imprenable sur la montagne et bain à remous

Venez Ă  Knob View Retreat et profitez de vacances relaxantes dans cette belle maison avec vue sur chaque fenĂȘtre. La maison dispose de 3 chambres Ă  coucher, chacune avec salle de bain privĂ©e et placard, parfait pour la famille Ă©largie ou les couples qui aiment passer leurs vacances ensemble. Deux des suites ont un accĂšs direct Ă  un porche couvert pour profiter de l'air et des vues rafraĂźchissantes de la montagne et de ses magnifiques couchers de soleil. Il y a aussi un grand bain Ă  remous sur la terrasse avec vue sur la montagne. Le bain Ă  remous est entretenu deux fois par semaine par les spĂ©cialistes Hot Springs & Spa de Hot Springs.

La maison est située dans les montagnes Blue Ridge à une altitude de 2900 pieds dans une petite communauté de montagne contenant seulement 7 maisons sur 70 acres. La vie privée abonde et la faune aussi.

Profitez d'un séjour relaxant sur le porche ou conduisez à seulement 20 kilomÚtres du centre-ville d'Asheville et profitez des boutiques et des restaurants du «Paris du Sud». La ville de Black Mountain est à seulement 9 miles dans l'autre direction. Passez une journée au domaine de Biltmore (13 miles) ou faites de la randonnée sur l'un des kilomÚtres de sentiers à quelques minutes. Voulez-vous conduire le Blue Ridge Parkway? Une entrée est à seulement 10 minutes.

Quick trip away with some friends. Very nice home , great views. Visited Biltmore and had some good meals . Nice hot tub and loved sitting on deck with morning coffee . Even a pair of bears this morning run through the property and over driveway . Definitely too short of trip .

Clean, Comfortable, and Great Location

We had a great stay here—everything was just as advertised. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and check-in was smooth and easy. The location was ideal—close to restaurants and walkable to downtown, but still quiet at night. The staff was friendly and responsive when we had a quick question about parking. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a relaxing and convenient place to stay.

Brewery weekend

As always the property was perfect for our base of operations. Perfect for 3 couples. Close enough to all breweries yet far enough out for quiet time in between brewery trips. The hot tub was great each evening after spending time around Asheville. The hosts were great as always.

Perfect Get-Away to the Mountains

This is the very best of the best place to unwind and relax or get moving with many places to see. The view from the house/deck is extraordinary and we didn’t want to leave. We did hike some mountain trails and spend some time appreciating Asheville downtown.The house host, Steve, was within immediate contact and made the house feel just like home with everything we needed. You must come see this! In awe!!

Everything you're reading about this home is true. Every room is well appointed. Quality linens on the beds and comfortable furniture in every room, including the deck. Thoughtful artwork and decor. The hosts have furnished this home as if for themselves, not "the rental house". The setting is breathtaking. If you're having difficulty deciding between this house and another one... pick this one.

Perfect Family Vacation

We had the pleasure of staying at Steve and Henrietta's beautiful home with our 2 adult daughters + 1 daughter's boyfriend. What a terrific trip! There is simply no way that photographs can capture the serenity and beauty of this home. The three bedrooms with attached baths were generously sized and the entire home was immaculately clean. Everything that we needed (and more!) was readily available. Steve is a fabulous owner who communicated very well. We followed his advice for dining and hiking and had a wonderful time. My husband and I would love to return and see the views from the home for the other 3 seasons. It's truly a magical place. Favorite memories from the home are sitting on the deck or in the hot tub, having drinks and chatting. We did see one of the resident bears a few times, which was very exciting. Thank you Steve and Henrietta - your hospitality is so appreciated!

Summer Family Vacation

We had a great time at this property. It was even more beautiful in person! The Mountain views each morning and evening were incredible and left us asking whether we should go out for a hike or just enjoy the views from the deck. We loved getting away from the Florida heat this summer. We had our 10-year-old daughter and 17-year-old son and there was something for all of us to do and enjoy our time together, from playing ping-pong to exploring biking, hiking and river tubing activities nearby. We also enjoyed home-cooked meals together in the evenings and playing some of our favorite board games with a beautiful background. When the time was up, we didn’t wanna leave and I’m sure that we will be back. If you are considering booking - DO IT!!

Brewery Weekend

This house was perfect for our needs. Very well appointed and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Easy trip into Asheville and very welcoming after busy days visiting breweries. We got to see a couple of bears on our way up to the house. Hot Tub was wonderful to soak the muscles after a lot of walking around Asheville. We will definitely come back here next year.

Spectacular Views and So Peaceful

No need to leave the house. The home amenities can keep you happy for your entire stay. We enjoyed cooking, playing ping pong, board games and the hot tub with its own panoramic view of the mountains. It was a wonderful opportunity to make special memories with our family. The house was very clean and well organized.

Mountain Getaway

Our family needed some down time after a busy year and even busier holiday season. The house was a perfect retreat for us! Not only did we enjoy the amazing views, comfortable beds, hot tub and every amenity you could hope for, but ease of access to all Asheville has to offer was great, too. Highly recommend this property.

Family Christmas

Great weekend with our young adult children to gather for Christmas! Amazing views of the mountains. Loved that it is private and secluded yet close enough to enjoy the Biltmore, Asheville and the cute town of Black Mountain. Was decorated nicely with a tree and Christmas garland/lights. We did lots of cooking and baking and loved how the kitchen had all that we needed and more! Owners have gone above and beyond to provide all that you could possibly need. Highly recommend this property!

Mountain Top Heaven

This was the most comfortable, clean and beautiful home we have ever rented. The owners paid attention to even the tiniest details that made our stay fantastic. The beds are all extremely comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. Asheville is fun and there are other small towns close by like Black Mountain that are great for shopping and dining. The golden sunsets against the mountains were breathtaking. We enjoyed the views from the hot tub every day. I wanted a peaceful vacation where I could snuggle by a fire, read, and be cozy with my family and this home was perfect. We can’t wait to return!

An amazing retreat

This mountain home has it all. Along with the amazing view and hot tub, Steve really thought of everything. He had a complimentary bottle of wine, space to store our food materials, 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, and a really cozy gas fireplace. Everything about this house was amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful- it is by far the best home I’ve ever stayed in.

This home is owned by Steve and Henrietta Holbrooks. We are native North Carolinians and have always held a deep love and appreciation for the Blue Ridge Mountains. We've hiked many of the area trails and never missed a chance to tour the Blue Ridge Parkway. We've had great times camping there with our children and other families, sharing adventures and making memories. Now, as 'empty nesters', we've taken up kayaking, traveling, and gaining an appreciation of the culture & history of the NC Mountains. We stayed in Knob View for the first time in August 2013 and fell in love with the home immediately. The long range views along with its serenity and tranquility were so unique. We also have friends who stayed with us who, after experiencing the area, purchased land and built a vacation home nearby (VRBO #865183).

Asheville has always been one of our favorite destinations. The area offers something for everyone. There's a vibrant arts culture with artisans and performers that bring the downtown to life after dark. It has beautiful architecture, fabulous shops, restaurants, and a booming craft beer industry. For those who prefer smaller towns, Black Mountain and Weaverville are popular destinations nearby. There's the Biltmore House, Gardens, and Winery which are a must see. Those who enjoy watersports will find a canoe/kayak outfitter just 20 minutes away on the French Broad River. And of course, the natural beauty that surrounds you explains why The Blue Ridge Parkway has been the most visited 'park' in the US every year since 1949.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Knob View Retreat offers the perfect retreat following a day exploring the Asheville area. It's only 15 minutes from downtown but seems 'worlds away'. We enjoy the privacy and quiet, you can hear the birds chirping, the squirrels rustling through the leaves, and the wind blow. At dusk the sunsets over the mountain range are to die for. At night the crickets will sing you to sleep. And of course there are mountain views everywhere you look! Ahhhhh
