If you are looking a sparkling, new, model home of a cabin/vacation house, you may want to look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a comfortable home that exudes warmth and allows for you and your family to come together, relax, and make memories, look no further. It was quiet, the surroundings are beautiful, especially the view from the rear deck towards the woods. There is a hiking trail just a couple hundred feet from the rear of the cabin. It is an easy hike and we did it every day. On the trail there was an abundance of flora, butterflies, birds, and wildlife to admire. We will stay here again. Here are some things you should be aware of: 1. There are no open fires allowed so you CAN’T use the fire pit portrayed in one of the pics. A little disappointing, but understandable given the fire danger. 2. Bring camp chairs with you for using in the fire pit area. Even though we couldn’t build a fire, we enjoyed sitting and reading there surrounded by pine trees and large boulders. The chairs are also useful for the balcony off the Master Bedroom. The chairs on the balcony are pretty worn. 3. There was no traditional coffee maker, just a Keurig, so bring k-cups. (Other than than not having a traditional coffee maker, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you meed) 4. This should be a no brainer, but bring insect repellent, we also used a Thermacell Lantern on the table on the rear deck to ward off mosquitoes while eating an playing games on the rear deck.
Bring you family, enjoy, and make memories…
