We had an amazing time! The house was wonderful, plenty of space, clean and just as the list described. The ocean front is amazing and was not overly busy this time of year. Our host was so responsive and very attentive for any small details. We have stayed here several years and will most definitely be back!!!

As always, this house is immaculately clean, well stocked with so many thoughtful touches. The owner is very friendly and receptive - she responds very quickly to all messages. Beds are super comfy too. I can’t recommend this house enough!

This was our 4th vacation at the Laughing Pelican and we enjoyed it as much as the past 3 years! We love the proximity to not only the beach, but also to the little convenience stores, vegetable stand, pier area, etc. It has been the perfect place for our family. The large living area/kitchen is perfect for cooking big dinners and playing games after a full day on the beach. The upgraded flooring and carpet were nice surprises when we walked in. Jacalyn is always very responsive and helpful throughout our stay!

Family Beach Vacation

This is our second year staying at the Laughing Pelican. The property is great for a large family, and being on the ocean is ideal. Check in and check out is easy, and the owner is very responsive to texts. We loved staying there and hope to continue making it an annual event!

Our extended family loved this house and location! Beautiful open plan living room and kitchen were perfect for big meals together, games and hanging out.The beach was lovely and uncrowded, and we all appreciated the beach toys and outdoor shower.

Me and my family have stayed at this property several summers. Love the location, the views, etc. The house is well maintained and well stocked. Additionally, the owner, Jacalyn, is very responsive to any questions or concerns.

We had a great stay at the Laughing Pelican and would recommend it for your stay at Topsail Beach. The place was fully outfitted to meet all of our needs -- from a kitchen complete with every utensil and appliance, to a family room with plenty of games to entertain your family, plus a large TV. The owner was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend.

Awesome home! Repeat visitor

Gorgeous well maintained and equipped home. Kitchen has everything you could need. Lots of games and puzzles and books for rainy days. Highly recommend staying here. This is our second year and we hope to return next year.

Property has everything you need and more! Well stocked kitchen, great outdoor shower, screened in front porch with picnic table. Super accesible to almost private beach. Had plenty of dining space for our large group of 13.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Laughing Pelican, and my family truly loves this home! It is the absolute perfect location, has all of the amenities that fit our family, and I truly appreciate all of the little touches that make our stay special every time (ex: labeling on the light switches, the welcome 'goodie' bag of essentials, Roku TVs in each room, and the hot tub!). Annual family Beach trip

This is an amazing property that has everything you need. My family takes an annual beach trip to Topsail and we always try to stay at this property. I believe this was our third year in this house, and we'll try to continue booking this one. It's in a great location, is beach front, has amazing views, and the owner is very responsive. Five star experience!

First week away after the pandemic

The home was wonderful. Spacious with good furniture. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. It was a little different to have to make the beds but not much of a problem at all. The location and views are fantastic. The beach is very close and attractive.

Book this house!

Book this house you will not be disappointed. Perfect location on the beach. Plenty of room for the entire family. Stayed with four generations and had a wonderful time in the Laughing Pelican. Linens and towels were provided and kitchen was the best stocked of any beach house we’ve stayed in over the past 10 years. House was well taken care of and has a great trex deck!

Great house… perfect location

The house is clean and well-kept. The kitchen has everything you’ll need. The rooms are spacious and furnished nicely. And we got to witness a spectacular loggerhead turtle hatching; 129 turtles started their journey to the Gulf Stream from a nest right next to the property.

Great vacation stay!

We had an amazing family trip at your beautiful beach house. It was a rare opportunity to get together with family to honor the life of “Granny”! She was the corner stone of the family. The house was the perfect size and well equipped. It had amazing views and we enjoyed spending time in the Hot Tub with the ocean sounds in the background! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! Always Perfect

This is the perfect house, so comfy and spacious - right on the beach. The owners are responsive and kind, always ready to answer questions and offer assistance. The kitchen is the most well stocked of any house I’ve ever rented. There are so many extra thoughtful touches throughout the house that makes it feel like home. Already booked for next year, our family and friends love this house!!
