Lakefront Cottage sur le lac Huron - avec plage privée!

Un chalet 3 saisons bien entretenu avec 3 chambres, 1 salle de bain et une douche extérieure situé à cinq minutes au nord de la magnifique ville de Grand Bend et à 10 minutes au sud de Bayfield. Des escaliers privés menant à la plage de sable fin se trouvent à quelques pas du pont arrière.

Parfait pour une famille, des enfants et / ou un groupe d'adultes à la recherche d'une escapade amusante et tranquille. La propriété comprend 1 lit king, 1 lit queen, 2 lits superposés / lits superposés, barbecue, salle de bain et une cuisine à aire ouverte.

Profitez de la plage pendant la journée et des couchers de soleil à couper le souffle la nuit!

L'espace
Notre chalet offre une vue incroyable sur le lac depuis la cuisine, le salon, la chambre et la terrasse arrière. Espace de vie ouvert et confortable avec téléviseur intelligent à écran plat de 50 "pour Netflix, etc. Nouvellement rénové salle de bain complète à l'intérieur et douche extérieure. Notre cuisine à aire ouverte est équipée d'une cafetière, d'un grille-pain, d'un four / cuisinière, d'un réfrigérateur et d'un four micro-ondes. Détendez-vous au coin du feu tout en regardant un film ou en écoutant les vagues s’écraser sur le rivage.

Profitez des pique-niques sur la plage ou des dîners sur le pont arrière tout en admirant les plus beaux couchers de soleil. Notre pont arrière comprend un barbecue et un ensemble de salle à manger pour 6 personnes. Nous avons beaucoup de chance d’avoir encore une plage malgré les niveaux d’eau plus élevés que la normale cette année. La plage change tous les jours; du sable mou aux galets selon les courants et la météo. Il y a toujours une entrée peu profonde dans l'eau, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal pour tous!

Very clean and well-equipped home on beautiful Lake Huron beach. All kitchen needs are provided, just be sure to bring your own bedding and towels. Really enjoyed the gorgeous beach, lovely yard and fire pit overlooking the lake and incredible views from nearly every room in the home! Would highly recommend!

The Perfect Summer Stay

My children and I spent a week in this gorgeous cottage. Lots of space and everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed! The beach was perfect! We watched stunning sunsets from the deck and the beach! Duncan is a wonderful host, making check in simple and answering any questions we had!

That view is breathtakingly beautiful. Seeing so much of the lake (even from inside), bends the mind. The house itself is quite nice. Good amenities and solid. There was a storm one evening and we barely felt it. Lounging on the deck was lovely and the beach is mere steps away. Well worth it. Can’t wait until next year.

Grand Bend beach vacation

Stayed early July. Parents and two teens. We enjoyed a week of summer beach and sunsets. Nice sandy private beach. Lots of space on the shore. Close to Grand Bend for a dinner out. Cottage is as described. Great view. Good bbq. Nice breezes from the lake. Effective air conditioning for hot days. Loved the outdoor shower too.

Amazing stay on lake huron

We had a fantastic stay at the lakefront cottage on Lake Huron. Cottage is right in the water with stairs leading down to a private sandy beach. Water was great for swimming with a shallow sand bar about 50ft from shore. We were an adult family of 5 and had plenty of room in the cottage. We were treated to many Lake Huron sunsets and bonfires on the beach. We will definitely be back!

A little slice of paradise

What a lovely spot! We enjoyed the beach, the deck, the backyard, and exploring the area. Saw one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen. The lake wasn’t even that cold! The bedrooms are not huge, but the point of this place is to be outside, so it didn’t bother us at all. If you go, be sure to check out Bayfield, it is truly a gem of a town.

Lake Huron bliss

So happy that we stayed here. The cottage was clean, modern, and comfortable. The deck amenities were wonderful and view of the lake and sunsets was outstanding. Duncan responded quickly to our silly questions. We enjoyed brewery hopping and golfing at White Squirrel. Nicely stocked cupboard of spices etc. It was a great week!

Little gem in a lovely location

This cottage is compact but had everything we needed and has been recently redone and redecorated and has a good layout. Beds are very comfortable. The location is amazing - close to amenities but on a private beach with a lovely deck and newer bbq. Amazing view from the deck. Stairs to the beach could be an issue for those with mobility issues but were therapeutic for me having had both hips replaced in the past two years! We had a wonderful relaxing week.

What an amazing spot! Oh my gosh! The pictures which are incredible don’t do it justice. When you walk out and see that amazing view of the water it takes your breath away! Crystal clear water! Beautiful cottage! All you can ask for. We book a different cottage every year, I am already convinced this is now the only cottage I want to rent! Thankyou Duncan!

Do yourself a favour

If you’re into clean, modern spaces with stunning views of sunsets, the moon, and stars, I’d highly recommend this gem. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful, as was the community. Also, my husband and I have some dietary restrictions but were thrilled to see that lots of options were available. This was the first getaway where we actually ate too much! The photos don’t do this beautiful oasis justice. You’d have to see it for yourself.

This cottage property was very well maintained and very clean when we arrived. The kitchen contained all of the normal required including utensils, plates, bowls & glassware. The hard-piped natural gas BBQ was an updated model with very nice heavy cast iron grates to cook on. The outdoor furniture & umbrellas were in good shape and very suitable for our intended usage, along with the outdoor steel fire pit. The beach was great but keep in mind the bluffs are high at this location so there are alot of stairs to deal with. In my opinion the pictures that you see on the Vrbo website are very representative of how you will currently find this cottage. The location is very close to Grand Bend and to an excellent new Sobeys which has all the items we required, plus plus. There are a number of options for short half-day trips to Bayfield, Goderich, & Blyth on cloudy days, plus all of the activities in Grand Bend. We unfortunately had to deal with the significant change in weather from hot summer to very cool fall weather that occurred too early this year. I would strongly recommend this property for a summer vacation.

Gorgeous views and beautiful sandy beach

This cottage had everything we needed and more! The views are incredible and the sunsets are unique each evening. Gaze at the stars and the lake from the King bed! The beds are comfortable and the surfaces clean and tidy. We loved the outdoor shower and new BBQ. Beautiful new flagstone driveway with parking for three vehicles. Our personal sun umbrella caught wind and broke a fence post solar light. Duncan was so gracious with us and easy to communicate with!

Beauty spot, lovely little place

Loved the sunsets on the water and how the house is set up. Beds very comfortable and new which is rare in a cottage. Fire pit view is incredible. Only feedback would be a few items: need a vacuum, dishwasher and washing machine. Bringing linens for 3 rooms for a week is a big load and having option to wash clothes/sheets/towels would be great. We will be back!

Our cottage offers incredible views of the lake from the kitchen, living room, bedroom and back deck. Comfortable open living space with 50" flat screen smart TV for Netflix etc. Newly renovated full indoor bathroom and outdoor shower. Our open concept kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, stove/oven, fridge, and microwave. Cozy up by the fireplace while watching a movie or listening to the waves crash on the shore.

Enjoy picnics on the beach or dinners on our back deck while taking in the most beautiful sunsets. Our back deck includes a bbq and 6 person dining set. The private beach is perfect for kids; shallow and sandy.
