Perfect Spot for Forest Bathing + Rejuvenation

Booked this spot as a place to unwind, disconnect + not have to bring too much with us + it did not disappoint. We’ve been burned in the past with amenities that didn’t match, but this treehouse is as described. Enjoyed the amount of games + distractions included + the serene setting. The hot tub was lovely, but in case it’s not obvious, there are stairs up to the hot tub. I don’t say this about many spots, but I’d come back.

Great family getaway

We spent a fabulous week at the cabin with our two girls (5 and 8) and our golden retriever. The girls loved playing Mario Kart, running around Leavenworth, and having a nice week away from the rest of society. There was more snow in the mountains than I expected for early April but sitting in the hot tub at night more than made up for it. Shauna was a fantastic, responsive host and everything we needed was right there. The kitchen is well-stocked, there are plenty of games inside, a myriad of activities to do outside, and everything felt like a home away from home. Plus, you’ll get the occasional visit from wild turkeys (the non-alcoholic kind). Lake Wenatchee is a 10 minute drive away and Leavenworth about 30. Overall, a great experience for a family adventure. Thank you for everything!

Wedding weekend

We had a wedding to attend near by and enjoyed the house's location to both the event and Leavenworth. The house was is very cute and well maintained. The only downside is the upstairs bathroom shower was not working so we all had to use the shower downstairs. Not ideal for 4 adults getting ready at the same time, but understand it's what happens with older homes. I do think a complaint about a VRBO stays in general is the requirement to take off linens and cleaning prior to leaving. When you get charged a cleaning fee and you're paying more than a hotel, often times, why are you asked to clean before you leave? I don't mind if you're staying at someone's house, but when you're paying approximately 400+ a night, taking linens off beds should be done by cleaning staff not the paying guests.

Amazing family cabin!

This cabin exceeded our expectations! It is so charming and everything we needed was there. It was super clean inside and had enough beds to accommodate 4 adults and our 3 kids, but it actually has another pull out trundle for a 8th person! It is a open concept on the bottom floor so as I was cooking, the kids played games on the table while hubby and brother played wii in living room.....but we were all able to talk and see one another. It was perfect for our family getaway. We BBQ’d on the deck, sat by the fire table in the evening while enjoying the view of trees, and also enjoyed the HUGE hot tub at night. Loved the lights in it! It is on a upper area of the deck and amazing, it is actually the biggest hot tub we’ve seen at any cabin! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, we had plenty of towels, there is a washer/dryer if you need it, and the kids loved the variety of games that were there. We also loved that chair swing on the porch so much I have to find one for our house! Shauna is super nice, easy to book and responds right away to booking request and any questions I had. We will surely be back! We’ve always stayed at hotels in Leavenworth which was great, but after this cabin experience....this is the way to go!!

Wonderful getaway

I work 7 days a week all year long. Once in awhile I need to escape. I’m so glad I found this place. Just what was needed. Definitely will be back! Highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Perfect getaway

The property is in a great location - close to Plain and Leavenworth. We appreciated being amongst the trees and having everything we needed in the cabin. Having a fire, watching movies, and relaxing after a day of skiing was perfect. If you are there to x-country ski, you are very close to one of the trailheads.

Cozy cabin vibes!

Great stay! The home is cozy and definitely has the cabin vibe we were looking for. There was plenty of room for our party of 4 to kick back and relax and we spent most our time outside on the deck. Location was spot on for what our plans were. Hosts were super responsive and overall made the stay feel comfortable. We felt like we were staying at a friends cabin.

Relaxing getaway for 2 days

This place is so serene with the big trees and quiet location. It feels nice an private- just the getaway you will want from busy Seattle. The kitchen is stocked with all the little things you’d need to make good meals- there is a closer grocery store that’s small and local the big Safeway is about 30 min away in Leavenworth- it’s a beautiful mountain drive. The location of this place is easy to get to/from but once you arrive you won’t want to leave. The wood fireplace works great (bring logs), the beds are comfy and the heaters in the cabin work great. The hot tub is AMAZING! Lights, Jets, sooo warm, there is a cutout in the roof right above the hot tub too so you can watch the stars if the weather is clear. Check in and check out was super easy- the host was very communicative and helpful- they have a great binder of recommendations if you’re not familiar with the area. We had our service dogs with us- and there is a big rule at the house: no dogs off leash because of the wild turkeys. We saw them! They were awesome! Beautiful big feathers all fanned out. I would say the other reason to not let dogs off leash is that- under the deck there is rat poison. So definitely follow the rules if you bring your dog. We loved it and would stay here again! Thank you!

Perfect getaway

This place was amazing and they were so accommodating! There was a baby gate and pack and play ready so we didn’t have to bring one for our 1 year old. So clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook amazing meals. Loved this cabin!

Nice gateway!

We had a great time staying at the cabin! It was just 4 adults so plenty room. The cabin had everything we needed. We did not expect so many mosquitoes and really hungry ones:), luckily we had repellent packed! Hot tub was awesome! Surrounded by nature! The cabin is in a very close proximity to the lake wenatchee which was nice, we did really easy hike there. Overall great stay!

Christmas family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Communication with the owners was easy and they were very responsive. Directions for access ect for the property were also very clear. The setting was peaceful and relaxing. The amenities provided in the home were very helpful to have available. WI-FI was available which is a plus!

Great house - has everything you could need.

Pros - It was wonderful to be able to take our dog and have plenty of room to spread out. Good location with plenty of outdoor opportunities. Lovely fireplace and comfortable beds. Cons - We were asked to bring our own fire wood which was a surprise as that has never happened in other rentals we've stayed. We also were charge a small extra cleaning fee after our stay although we had very thoroughly followed the checkout instructions. there may have been some miscommunication between the owner and the cleaner. These are both small issues, but made the stay slightly more complicated and stressful than I had hoped.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this property in the Leavenworth area because there is so much to do here! The cabin is a 10 minute drive from Lake Wenatchee, the quaint and central Plain hardware store, and Plain Cellars winery. It's also only 30 minutes from Leavenworth and Steven's Pass. In the winter, we are able to snowmobile, snowshoe, and cross country ski directly from the cabin with access to the Wenatchee national forest just down the street. So fun and very convenient! In the summer we bicycle right from the cabin and head into the forest service trails. There are an abundance of hiking trails in the area as well. In Autumn the leaf colors are amazing as well. We also love looking in all the fun shops of Leavenworth, and getting ice cream with my son. We chose the cabin because from the first time I entered it, it reminded me of my childhood cabin--it had that cabin-y cedar smell and looked so cozy and welcoming.

We love the cabin look with walls made of pine, and the modern, clean look of the kitchen/living room area. Also attractive to us is the welcoming
wrap-around deck with 3 seating areas (we added a fire pit, too, to be used in spring and fall!), and the gazebo-style hot tub and peaceful setting in the trees.
