Unique cabine nouvellement construite d'une chambre à East Talkeetna près de l'aéroport de Talkeetna. Une cuisine pleine grandeur vous donnera le confort de la nourriture et un endroit chaleureux pour profiter d'un moment de détente près de la cheminée à gaz. Café et thé, cacao chaud et sont fournis à tout moment. Marchez 10 à 15 minutes ou conduisez quelques minutes vers les restaurants et la musique du centre-ville. Les taxis aériens, les taxis Talkeetna, les bateaux-mouches et les chemins de fer de l’Alaska sont tous proches et pratiques. Nous sommes à mi-chemin de Denali en seulement 2,5 heures de route au nord.
Arrêtez-vous et profitez de notre vue sur Denali en bateau-mouche ou en avion, en train ou en voiture. Système de sentiers idéal pour la randonnée de nombreuses zones de Talkeetna. Il suffit de demander!

Wonderful

Very nice cabin with upstairs bedroom. Was just perfect for my wife and I. Only negative thing I can say is the internet is slow.

Overnight in Talkeetna

The place was gorgeous. It is tight for four adults. The upstairs was very spacious and relaxing but the down stairs with the bed out made for tight quarters.

I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to details in this rental cabin. Plush towels, nice linen, and spotless. On top of that very close to downtown. Thank you for directing this lost sole over the phone!

Cozy, Clean and Convenient

We booked this for our first night in Alaska. Our host, Lynn, was super helpful as we prepared for our stay - providing suggestions for places to visit and dine. The property was immaculate and extremely comfortable. Wish we could stay longer!! Thank you for a fantastic experience :)

Best vacation rental ever!

We absolutely loved this vacation rental! The quality of the craftsmanship, the layout, the amenities, everything was top notch. We wish we could have stayed longer. We didn't know if our son was going to drive up from Anchorage. He ended up being able to get away with his girlfriend. Plenty of room for four with the fold out couch and two bathrooms. We can't say enough positive comments about this home. Highly recommend!

Great cabin!

Really enjoyed staying at this cabin during our visit to Talkeetna. It was convenient to get to, comfy, and had all the needed amenities including a spot to sit and eat for breakfast. The only things we had trouble with were the stairs leading up to the bedroom - they were very narrow and steep, and the shower in the main bathroom was tiny and hard to navigate without soaking the bathroom walls and floor. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

Talkeetna getaway

A friend and I spent a night at the Chinook Bear during a girls trip. The cottage is was immaculately clean, well stocked with the essentials and had great touches with furnishings/artwork. The downstairs futon, when open, does encroach into the path between the stairs and the door, so while you could accommodate 5, it's probably best for a couple of friends or a family with one child. Hosts were very responsive to messages.

Cool Cabin!

Enjoyed our stay at the Bear. Beautifully furnished. Everything looks brand new. It's very clean and well appointed. It seems much larger than it actually is. We would definitely stay here again.

Great rental

Great location to explore the surrounding areas. Loved the upstairs bedroom with a very comfortable bed for sleeping. Would recommend going to Denali brewing that’s out of town a bit. Great atmosphere along with great food and beers. All in all a great experience with the Vrbo rental.

Immaculate property with a beautiful interior; I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The property manager was quick to accommodate special requests. I would definitely stay again.

A nice place to stay near Denali

This was our place to stay while visiting the Denali area. It is a wonderful house, well maintained, very clean, well equipped, and a very restful and enjoyable setting. Talkeetna is a quaint little town with local shops and restaurants. Near the river and a nice place to hike. Highly recommended.

I managed to find this house alright. It looks pretty quiet all around this neighborhood. Hopefully there aren't any wild animals around like that bear or wolves.

Alaskans on getaway

The cabin was in perfect condition and absolutely clean. The amenities allowed BBQ’ing, a campfire (with stocked wood) and well lit space. Would recommend to anyone escaping for a bit in Talkeetna! Although summer during this visit, would be a nice hideaway during the winter too.

Disappointed with property.

We did not stay there. Could not get our bags across the stone yard. Could not begin to get the bags up the narrow stairs to the bedroom. Neighborhood not the best. Made us uncomfortable. Please consider crediting the cleaning fee since we did not stay so unit did not need cleaning.

Lovely cozy cabin

We found this cozy little two-story cabin to be clean and welcoming. The upstairs bedroom is spacious, with seating to enjoy one’s morning coffee and a view of trees, trees, trees. The downstairs has a small kitchen and a sofa with an easy chair and a gas stove. Everything was new-ish and very clean. It’s about a two-minute drive from Talkeetna downtown, and Mahayana Boat Launch is minutes away. The neighborhood is typical “Alaska,” meaning there is a mix of homes here - some tidy and well-kept and others not so much. The cabin is right near the air taxi field, so lots of planes taking off. We weren’t too bothered by the noise. Yummy food at the Alaskan Lodge, along with great views! Denali Brewing Company, on the Spur Road, was a wonderful diversion. Talkeetna is 2 1/2 hours from Denali, so that’s a plus. We took a jet boat tour with Mahay’s, which was excellent. Be prepared for the Alaskan mosquitoes in July!
