Willow Cabin-Famille-Cabine-Douche

The Willow is our newest cabin, completed in 2016. Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including full size refrigerator, 5 burner gas stove, oven and microwave. Also Keurig coffee maker with coffee/tea service, toaster, dishes, utensils and pots and pans.
The beautiful Birch, Spruce and Willow Cabins are tucked away at the base of a small hill and feature a living space as well as a spacious front porch. Our cabins are situated in a secluded, peaceful birch and spruce boreal forest.

The Willow is our newest cabin, completed in 2016. This 900 sq ft cabin features:

Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including full size refrigerator, 5 burner gas stove, oven, and microwave. Also coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils and pots and pans.
Main living area has 18’ft ceiling with exposed beams and ceiling fan.
Separate bedroom with Queen size bed and full closet.
Spacious full bathroom with walk-in shower.
Large, upstairs loft provides additional sleeping space.
Breakfast bar, futon sofa, flat screen Smart TV, and WiFi

Wonderful place to stay!

We loved our stay with Talkeetna Chalet! The owner is friendly and was extremely accommodating for our larger group. The cabins were clean and beautiful. It was quiet and restful, yet close to town, and we wished we had stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Girl’s weekend

The cabin worked out perfectly for a girl’s cross country ski weekend in Talkeetna. The proximity to town and the trails was great. Would definitely stay again!

Cute and comfy cabin away from the hustle and bustle!

The most wonderful place to stay and enjoy some R&R!

Our stay was enjoyable due to the comfortable cabins, friendly hosts, and great location. We were able to enjoy all the things to do in the area while still having a perfect place to lay our head at night. The cabins are comfortable enough to live in. We felt like we had plenty of privacy and yet plenty of room to visit with family and friends.

The host was responsive and the cabin was just adorable. Very modern and beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi /Tv reception was spotty but that was not a issue for us.

Great place, clean, great communication.

We had a very nice time at the Willow Cabin. Twila was excellent with communication. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had nice amenities. I will definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Talkeetna. Thanks!!

Beautiful cabin in a great location. Not to close to downtown and tourists. Just right. We traveled with a baby and the cabin worked well for our family. No salt, pepper, spices luckly I always bring my own

Peaceful and lovely

This is a beautiful little cabin! Pretty luxurious, with running water and a fast-working heater, but still with a nice rustic vibe. We were very comfortable in there with four people and one dog. It feels just off the grid enough -- quiet and private, but just a quick drive to downtown Talkeetna and other fun attractions like hiking trails and local food stops. The hosts were very responsive and helpful via text, and the welcome banana bread was a nice touch!

Absolutely Fantastic and peaceful.

This was our 2nd stay with Talkeetna Chalet. We rented the Willow Cabin this time and what a Charm. Very private and its worth it! I like staying slightly just out of downtown Talkeetna for the peaceful quietness. I can look out the window and no one is looking back at me. I am from Alaska and it is so fun to be a tourist in Talkeetna and staying with Talkeetna Chalet makes it all worth it. We will be back!

We discovered Talkeetna four years ago and we immediately fell in love with the quaint eclectic small-town vibe. We knew we had found our “new” home.
