We are glad that you love the place, which is why we feel we deserved at least a passing grade (3 stars = 60%). We make it a point to be known not only for our mountainside location minutes from Hot Springs historic bathhouse row and unique vacation experiences; but for our excellent customer service. For that reason, your review caught us by surprise and we feel compelled to respond to some of your claims specifically. We, the property owners and caretakers are located nearby. The RV we live in while our home is being constructed is 300 feet away behind a 12 foot privacy fence. Previous guests have found that our close proximity actually allows for better customer service and MORE privacy, since we are potentially aware of things that are out of place. We can promise that we do not have the time or equipment needed to peek into the cabin. We do not hide the fact that the curtains are sheer (take a look at any of the photos) and there are no blackout shades. The point of the windows is to allow you to enjoy nature and views of the mountainside. That being said - as soon as you requested it, we brought a blanket, which was easily hung on the curtain rod to give you the "privacy" that you needed. The shower also has several hooks on either side of the window to hang a towel - which again - affords the "privacy" you asked for. This cabin is alone on a hillside, so unless someone in your party walks around the cabin and looks into the shower window (which is almost 6 feet off the ground) you have no reason for concern. The bed is a swinging bed. If you pull it away from the wall, the laws of physics will pull it back against the wall. I apologize that it is not what you expected, but it is featured in our listing. Finally, in response to your comments regarding sizing of the property, our ad states that the cabin is 435 square feet. This is not a large cabin and we've never stated otherwise. As to the driveway size, the propane company servicing this cabin is able to make it up and around the circle driveway without issue. I recommend to future guests, if you drive anything larger than a propane truck to ask for assistance with parking. Your review makes it obvious that the Dock Holiday was not the experience you were seeking. Like other hosts, we rely on honest, informed reviews. We know we are not for everyone and hope that, in the future, you might read the description and view the photos carefully, so that you aren't disappointed.
