Farmstyle Comfort Minutes from Canyon

Situé à seulement 10 minutes de Canyon et à 25 minutes d'Amarillo, cette maison à la ferme offre une pause tranquille du chaos et les magnifiques couchers de soleil sont garantis pour ne pas décevoir. 3 chambres et 1 salle de bain, cuisine complète et coin repas pittoresque. 6 couchages (lits réels) avec des draps et des meubles neufs.

Regardez par la fenêtre pour voir des chèvres paître dans les pâturages, des poulets picorer le sol et peut-être même un cochon qui se promène pour se préparer.

Nous sommes favorables à la famille et souhaitons que votre séjour soit relaxant, mais pouvons suggérer de nombreuses activités à 10-20 minutes en voiture. Canyon propose le nouveau Canyon Aqua Park, le musée Panhandle Plains, la West Texas A&M University et diverses activités sur la place historique tout au long de l'été. N'oubliez pas de faire un tour au Palo Duro Canyon et peut-être de voir la comédie musicale Texas pendant votre séjour.

Great place to stay

This waa a beautiful property just outside of Canyon. We had a wonderful time visiting with my son who goes to school there. We all loves the place.

We had such a relaxing and fun stay! We city folk LOVED the sounds of..... nothing. The big open sky, the smell of fresh air. All just 15 minutes from all conveniences like restaurants and grocery stores. And clean! The pictures do not do this home justice. Sure nothing is new, but everything is very, very clean. This is probably one of, if not the CLEANEST vacation home we've ever stayed in! AND FRIENDLY!! Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and we really, really appreciated it!

Great Stay

We enjoyed this quiet country location. We had everything we needed and the location was just a short drive to Canyon or Happy. We were attending Picnic in Tulia so that was a little farther but still a great place for overnight. Would consider this location again.

This was the perfect place for us to stay away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to where we wanted to go. It was so quiet and peaceful and we loved watching the dogs, chickens and goats. It was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Great convenient place to stay near Canyon.

We stay here when we’re in town visiting my daughter at West Texas A&M. Fun, quiet place to stay…..love watching the goats, chickens, dogs and cats (with kittens this stay)! Thank you, once again!!

This property was exactly what the pictures represented, so beautiful! We loved the location & quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back when we come down to visit our daughter again! Like I told the owners, they nailed it! Perfect Texas Getaway!

Clean and comfortable

Clean and cozy, friendly house with ample space. Quiet, and easy access to Canyon for anything you forget. Only a short distance from Palo Dura and also a great museum in Canyon. Would definitely stay again.

Immaculate little house on the prarie 25 minutes from Palo Duro canyon. Kitchen well appointed. Good internet. Four beds. Kitchen seating for four. Outdoor seating for eight. Kurig.

This was a wonderful stay for our getaway to the Palo Duro canyon. The house is on the same lot as the main house but is private. There is a goodest of good boy dogs that was happy to greet us upon arrival. Kids were happy to see the goats and barn cats. Very cute place and only 10-15 mins away from local Walmart and fast food options.

Family Farm time

Staying at the farmhouse was an amazing experience, with the charming presence of farm animals adding to the rustic ambiance. The interactions with the animals were both relaxing and educational especially for my kids growing up in metro cities, making our stay truly unique. The serene countryside setting, sunrise/sunset combined with the sounds of nature, provided the perfect escape from city life.

Great clean, lovely home for your stay

The photos on VRBO don't do this house justice. It is a beautiful house with great views of sunsets and sunrises. The chickens, goats, dog and cats entertain during the day. Convenient to both Canyon and Amarillo. We met lots of friendly people in our day trips and would love to stay again.

Exactly as described and expected.

Very responsive to a couple questions I had. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked,nicely appointed. COOL A/C! Large cabin/small house. Nice location for visiting the canyons and the Plains Museum in Canyon. There are jeep tours, horseback rides, mead/winery....plenty to do. Plus, fun viewing of goats and barn cats! Would gladly visit again.

The host were super kind and friendly! My kids enjoyed playing with the kittens as well as watching the goats! The house itself was very clean with everything you need including the bonus of coffee & snacks! It was great staying in a place that was only a few minutes from town but quiet and dark enough to seem much further. Only a few minutes from canyon and 25 or so from Palo Dura Canyon! We hope to stay there again on our next visit to the panhandle!

Peaceful and Happy Stay!

I am so happy that we chose to stay at this Happy House on the farm! It was centrally located for our two planned visits to Caprock and Palo Duro Canyons. After a long day of hiking and exploring the canyons, we were grateful to come “home” to our quiet farmhouse rental. The home was well-stocked with kitchen tools and paper products as well as a few snacks and coffee pods. There was more than enough room for our family of 4. It felt just like home. High recommended!

“Peace” of heaven

Again, the place was so nice just like before. We like the locale to Palo Duro and Amarillo. It’s the feeling of home and it makes perfect sense with our typical life on our ranch. We’ll always look for this sweet spot when we’re out that way.

Perfect for Palo Duro Canyon Visit

The property is about 20ish minutes from Palo Duro Canyon State Park. It is a nice quiet stay with amusing animals you can watch out the window. The dog with the chicken coup was our favorite. Full kitchen and a separate bedroom for my son. I am recommending my parents return for their anniversary.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse! The owners were very patient with me when we thought we may need to reschedule our dates. The farm is such a neat place to see with the kids, and the house is perfect for a family wanting more than a hotel room to stretch out and relax after a long day of sight seeing. The house is super clean and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Our favorite part was cooking a big family breakfast and eating out side under the covered porch enjoying the quiet of the country.
