This was my second visit to the Honua Kai resort. It is conveniently located near groceries, restaurants, beaches and other recreational activities. For such accommodations it is on the more reasonable side of prices for the area. The property managers were great, Parking was convenient in the underground garage. It is family friendly but also felt comfortable as a senior couple. I will stay at this resort again

A piece of paradise!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the most magical time as a family exploring Maui and this condo and the facilities were a dream. We appreciated having space to spread out, ability to cook and do laundry and the views were incredible. Honua Kai is so family friendly with the beach steps away (we saw so many turtles- one in the sand and many in the water snorkeling. Black rock jumping was a highlight as well as so many other fun things we enjoyed. Be sure to stop at dukes and get the hula pie. Pool and slide was also a hit!

We had an amazing stay at the Honua Kai. The unit was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with everything we needed. The resort location was amazing. We had dinner at Dukes, spent hours at the pool and beach. The resort grounds were very well kept. We definitely plan on coming back soon.

My wife, 3 daughters (18, 16, and 5 yrs old), and I stayed at Honua Kai for 11 nights. Our stay in this unit and resort was absolutely amazing (even with Lala paying a visit). The host Jill (and her Team) is one of the best hosts I have had the pleasure of dealing with (across numerous platforms). They did everything to make sure our vacation was the best and as comfortable as it could be. The unit has everything one needs and is as described except that it is bigger than it looks in the pics and was perfect for my family of 5. The resort grounds and location are also amazing. We spent time in the lazy river, went to Kapalua beach, Napili beach, Whalers village and ate at Dukes, Leilani's, Moneypod, Sea House and Merriman's to name a few things we did that were walking distance or short driving distance to the resort. Also, the driving tours we booked (e.g. Haleakala sunrise, Road to Hana) picked us up at the resort instead of us having us have to drive to a meeting point. Both the unit and resort are well kept. We definitely plan on coming back and hopefully soon. Thank you Jill and Maui........a hui hou!

Favorite stay of the trip

We absolutely loved this condo. The location was perfect and the resort is great for adults and kids. The condo was clean and well stocked. Communication from the property manager was quick and they provided clear instructions for check in/out.
