La cabane a 7 lits avec 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain, cuisine complÚte et buanderie. La cabane Rocky Waters est située à 18 miles au sud-est du centre-ville historique de Galena, en Illinois. Séjour minimum de deux nuits sur un week-end régulier. Le séjour de week-end de vacances est un minimum de trois nuits.

Kyle was an extremely welcoming host to my family and I. The property is gorgeous and the seclusion makes the experience very peaceful. My young children had the absolute time of their lives just playing in the lake, walking the property and seeing the wildlife. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be going back again in the future. Bonus- the fishing was excellent!

Very nice stay, everything was clean and well maintained. Winery is just up the hill from the cabin. Secluded location and private lake. This was a great spot for a long family vacation and pet friendly.

Kyle was very prompt with answering any questions I had. The cabin was very cozy, offered many extra amenities that most VRBO’s I have stayed at did not. If you’re looking for a secluded getaway, this is it! Our group was a tad disappointed that we were not able to partake in some wine tasting while during our stay, but we would love to revisit! We hope that we can book next year!! Thank you Rocky Waters Winery for everything!

Beautiful Gem Outside of Galena!

This property in Hanover was absolutely stunning. From the charm of the wooden cabin to the spaciousness of three bathrooms and three bedrooms, along with such a clean, private lake, this was a fantastic find. Kyle was an incredible host, with lightning-fast responses and assistance, a personal knowledge of the wines made on the property, and just a very earnest and relatable approach to hosting. Galena was only a 20 minute drive, and Woodbine Bend Golf Course was also beautiful and in close proximity. Bonus points for all the different types of fish in the lake! We would definitely love to stay here again!

Great Cabin

What a great house and property. Located near Galena, Mississippi River and a various state parks/trails. The house was perfect, clean, had everything needed for family of 5. Had dinner and a tasting at the main winery bldg on property. Property management/owners were accessible the entire stay and were very helpful. Tons of property to explore, fishing/spending time on lake, s’mores over the fire pit at night, fall colors everywhere. Entire family really enjoyed the long weekend on this property.

Awesome place

Everything was as advertised. Kitchen is well stocked and the place was clean. The winery is very nice and it was fun talking with the owners and hearing the history of the place. We had a blast hanging around the campfire at night. Definitely would stay here again.

Great stay with great weather

The property IS GORGEOUS. A lot of wildlife. The cabin is great. It has a lot of steep steps and hills. The place is great if the weather is great. We would have felt pretty cramped if the weather kept us inside - though, I guess we'd have spent more time at the winery. (Only open until 4 or 5pm) The wifi does not reach the beach, no cell service there. The TV in the family area is very old. The beach could use another load of sand, but we were there late in the season. (August) *IF YOU DRIVE A CAR, YOU MAY NOT GO BACK UP THE DRIVE TO THE CABIN. You need 4 wheel drive. There was no mention of the steep, curvy, rutted, gravel trail to the house. Our Mazda 5 (not a tough car). Was stuck several times and smoking and full of rocks by the time we got back out of there at checkout. We would still be there if we hadn't had 3 dry days. Overall, a great stay. House has everything else you need and oozes charm. You just need good knees and a SUV with some go!

Idyllic lake house

Wonderful, quiet spot. Dogs loved swimming in the lake and roaming around. Had a wonderful visit to the winery as well.

Beautiful cabin on winery

We rented the “fishing” cabin for a milestone birthday with five women. The cabin is clean, decorated so nice and had all the amenities we needed. There is a nice pond for fishing, canoeing, pedal boat. We did not use them, but they were cleaned and ready for us. The porch that overlooks the pond was our favorite spot. We saw deer, huge turkeys, and the variety of birds was awesome. Cabin is fully equipped. Expect the steep and curvy driveway to the cabin. I would not want to do that in rain or snow. Host replied to all requests and questions promptly. The winery is family run and we enjoyed tasting their wines on the winery patio. The only thing we wished they had at the cabin was labels on light switches as to what switch turned on what lights- but we figured it out. If you love the quiet and hearing the birds singing - this place is for you! Downtown Galena is 20 minutes away and very fun town for shopping/dining/tours. We will definitely return and hopefully spend more time on the property.

Cozy & Relaxing

We stayed with a group of friends and our pups and had an amazing time. The cabin is so cozy and inviting. We had a fire going and didn’t turn the tv on once. The vineyard is beautiful to walk through and the winery has a cozy lodge feeling and the friendliest staff. We had the pleasure of waking up to the first snow of the season and it was breathtaking over the lake. Highly recommend this home for a getaway from all of the noise of the city. Kyle couldn’t have been nicer and we are so grateful for his hospitality. Will definitely be back!

Just the getaway we needed!

My mom and I wanted to have a girls wkd away. This cabin and its location exceeded our expectations! We loved having a fire every night we stayed, and the comfort and coziness was so relaxing...We will definitely come back again! Thank you for our stay!

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Fisherman's Cabin. It is an extremely secluded, quiet property, yet close enough to make a quick trip to Galena. Communication with the host was very quick and helpful. We will definitely be back!
