Un séjour élégant vous attend à la NOUVELLE Suite de vacances au Ranch de Santa Cruz sur mon ranch privé sécurisé de 86 acres au-dessus de UCSC Seulement 10 minutes de la plage
Cette belle entrée privée en bas des escaliers du ranch Home comprend une grande suite avec un lit en rondins et des meubles faits sur mesure ainsi qu'un bar à café de 10 pi avec armoires pour micro-ondes, plaques chauffantes et faits à la main, y compris une armoire pour vos vêtements.
À l'intérieur de la suite, vous trouverez une nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse GE pour votre usage pendant votre séjour.
Restez connecté avec un accès Internet sans fil gratuit ainsi que la télévision par satellite à écran plat.
Utilisez votre téléphone portable en vous connectant à travers les connexions sans fil ... (SVP faites vos devoirs de connexion.)
Une salle de bains élégante avec des armoires faites à la main, une grande douche et un nouveau trône de Kohler est à votre disposition.
Réveillez-vous et préparez un pot de café frais à déguster sur le banc de BBQ surplombant la vallée de Redwood pendant que vous respirez l'océan propre et l'air de montagne surplombant mes chevaux personnels dans l'arène. (Caffe et Decaf fournissent des collations légères avec jus de fruits, eau et friandises)
2 hamacs sous les arbres de séquoias, il est bon de faire une sieste ou de vous détendre en lisant votre livre préféré.
Vérifiez vos chevaux paissant dans le Private Guest Pasture et profitez des sentiers avec vue sur l'océan et du Ridge Trail surplombant ma vallée de séquoias, avec des criques toute l'année sur de magnifiques sentiers privés menant à 5 hectares de vieux séquoias.
Si vous êtes un cavalier avancé ou un cycliste de montagne, vous pouvez profiter des milliers d'acres de sentiers surplombant la baie de Monterey dans le Wilder Ranch, ou planifier une sortie très agressive du ranch Wilder à l'UCSC, au parc Pogonip et au parc national Henry Cowell. à la ville de Felton pour un merveilleux repas au restaurant Cowboy à Felton, mais souvenez-vous qu’il vous reste à remonter. :-)

Loved it!

David was super friendly, the location was beautiful-we could hike from our front door! The place is well-appointed, quiet, and I know it seems like a minor detail, but we loved the huge bath towels!

Amazing!

We loved our time in California! David was so nice, accommodating and went out of his way to be helpful in every way. We would definitely stay again should we ever go back to that part of California. The room was clean and spacious, the scenery beautiful and the weather fantastic! Very centrally located to many things to see and do.

Clean and cozy

The room was immaculate. New with all the conveniences. The Linens were of high quality and the bed was like a cloud. The host was warm and welcoming. Very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Great environment with a couple friendly horses to pet. Up in the hills surrounded by redwoods with abundant hiking and biking trails nearby. Yet only minutes to all the amenities you would need

Relaxing and beautiful!

David is a wonderful host. Warm, kind and knowledgeable of many things from places to eat, to the history of the area and of course, horses! He has two beautiful horses, Rico and Fosse. We got to feed them carrots and you can see them from the suite. We walked around the grounds and star gazed our second night. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and just all around amazing. If you want to get away from the current state of our world, David's place feels miles, if not worlds away from it all!

Perfection

My son and I stayed at David’s ranch. It was a perfect location for taking in the abundance of natural beauty and served as the perfect home base for our Santa Cruz exploration. David was kind and enthusiastic about sharing lots of his favorite spots in the area. My 10 yo son fell in love with David’s horses and said hello to them first thing each morning. We would definitely return!

Good vibes

David was a wonderful host and his property was even more beautiful than the photos showed. We particularly enjoyed saying hello to the horses and meeting David's super helpful caretaker, Jeff :) Only complaint was internet for working remotely- had trouble getting and keeping a reliable connection, even though I called ahead about it. This cost us a day of work and we had to go to the Santa Cruz Marriott in order to have WiFi. But ultimately David did his best to help and and it worked much better the second day. As long as you are not trying to work remotely, I highly recommend this stay!

Great ranch for active travelers

This is a remote ranch located in the beautiful Santa Cruz hills. It is a great location for a couple looking to hike and explore the large property. There are two curious and beautiful horses staying across the driveway from the room. David is a warm and friendly host that worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. When he knew that he wouldn’t have a lawn area available, he contacted us in case we wanted to reschedule - and offered a free bottle of wine and even an extra night if we wanted it. As my husband is disabled, we couldn’t take full advantage of his many acres of land. However, we enjoyed the quiet location for a getaway from city life.

Relaxing retreat

David was a wonderful host and his property provided a much needed retreat. We enjoyed the views, hiking, and meals under the redwood trees. I will definitely visit again!

Beautiful Property

The studio was perfectly equipped for our weekend, and was close to town for dining, shopping and also the beach. David was such a friendly host. We highly recommend this studio for peace and quiet with easy access to conveniences nearby.

Mountain serenity

As advertised, David's place offers easy access to numerous hiking and biking trails. The space is comfortable and functional, with the added benefit of Rico and Fosse's energy from the nearby corral. Local towns, not previously on our radar, came into focus as this mountain getaway provided an excellent "basecamp" for exploration. We recommend Felton and Davenport Landing for your dining pleasure.

Beautiful unit below main house. Clean, quiet and close to nature.

I'd recommend this for anyone who might have business in the City of Santa Cruz or at the UCSC, but don't want or need proximity to all the hustle and bustle of town.

Wonderful Stay and Excellent Property Manager

We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary by having a relaxing weekend with our horses. This place was perfect! The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and included lots of extras goodies in the kitchen and refrigerator that were very much appreciated! The property manager, David, was excellent and exceeded all of our expectations. He started by providing lots of correspondence to answer our questions and provide extra details before our trip. Then when we got there, he made sure that we had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful experience! Beautiful place and the owner is very kind. Highly recommend

The drive up through the mountain is beautiful. The accommodations were perfect for my husband and I. We were in town for the US open at Pebble beach but wanted to stay a little away from all the crazy, crowded hotels. It was very peaceful, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner was super friendly and had some wonderful suggestions on places to eat. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get away.

Great Getaway!

Beautiful, scenic, peaceful. All the components for a great stay, and then some. Despite record temps, we stayed cool and comfy on the ranch. David was an excellent and gracious host, with unlimited ideas for local wine tasting and good eats.

Redwood Paradise

Beautiful piece of property, redwood vista's to the sea. Spectacular. Feels like your in the middle of nowhere and only 15 minutes drive to town. The unit was comfortable and warm on the cool spring nights we were there.

David the owner is very hospitable and property is beautifully located in the Santa Cruz mountains.

I spent two weeks at the ranch and felt right at home. David was also very helpful and warm. He is very knowledgeable on the surrounding area and gave me lots of ideas for spending my time and good places to eat.

I'm Sorry but my entire Ranch burned down in the Fire.

I'm David and I work out of my home office on my 86 Acre Security Gated Ranch in the Redwoods above UCSC
I love the amazing Redwood Trees and views across Monterey Bay as well as watching wild life.
I've been Horse crazy since I was a little kid and I also love riding my Mountain Bike along the beach to fun Bistros and on the bike trails in Wilder Ranch State Park that borders my Ranch.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Like most nature lovers, I love new adventures so I created a fun spot for hikers, horse and mountain bike lovers to visit and bring their own horse or Mountain Bike. The Ranch is Private and Gated for your security. It has an elegant Cabin feel and borders Wilder Ranch State Park so you can enjoy wild animals visiting the Ranch daily such as Deer, Hawks, Bunnies, Coyotes, Bob Cats and maybe a Mountain Lion but Mountain Lions are nocturnal so you'll rarely see them but be careful... I've seen 4 Mountain Lions in 24 years... pretty exciting but Animals are unpredictable and can be dangerous so always hike with a walking stick and preferably with a Partner.

Santa Cruz Ranch is a unique property. There are very few properties as large and beautiful as this private ranch in this area. I love the beauty I get to live in daily and I wanted to share it with others.
I hope you take a moment to slow down, listen to nature and breathe the clean mountain and ocean air. I hope the beauty and peace will revive your spirit as it does mine daily.
