Super endroit! 5 minutes à pied de la plage et à quelques pas de la ville: magasins, restaurants, glaces, épicerie, magasin d'alcools. Maison unifamiliale propre et confortable en front de lagon, dans une rue sans issue avec un quai. Maison de vacances idéale pour famille élargie. Il peut accueillir confortablement 13 chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes avec une douche extérieure. Récemment rénové avec de la peinture fraîche partout, de nouveaux revêtements de sol et une décoration à jour. Les équipements comprennent (5) unités de fenêtre AC, 3 téléviseurs à écran plat, câble, laveuse / sécheuse, téléphone, stations d'accueil, TV. De nouveaux matelas rendent cette maison super confortable. Profitez du dîner et des jeux en famille sur le porche de l'écran donnant sur le lagon.

Fun Family Stay

We loved the house and especially being able to kayak and paddle around the bay before/after the beach. It was very clean and in a great location. The beaches weren’t overly crowded and it was a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house with ample sleeping capacity!

We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth’s beach home. She is an outstanding host and the house was immaculate. We appreciated that it slept all 12 of us comfortably! Outdoor enclosed porch was perfect for meals and when you wanted shade! We very much liked the garage which offered beach toys, cornhole, life preservers, bikes, etc.. We took out the 2 person kayak which was lots of fun! Thank you Elizabeth for being so attentive and sharing your home with us!

Can’t be beat!

Our large family of 10 plus 2 dear friends had a wonderful stay! Few rentals offer 6 bedrooms, 2 full baths on the canal and just a block from the ocean for the price it was! We lacked one queen bed for one of our couples so we pushed two twin beds together to make a very comfortable and large bed (tip, you’ll need a set of king sheets if you do this). The house had everything we needed in terms of kitchen ware and beach chairs/umbrellas. There wasn’t anything that it lacked. We were even able to bring our boat and keep it in the canal behind the house (LOVED the deep sea fishing). We ate all of our meals at the large table in the screened in porch, as well as played many games there when it rained. Excellent gathering location and the screen didn’t have any little holes for the mosquitoes to sneak in (a pesty issue at other houses that we’ve rented). Great location and great owners who were on top of communication at every step of the rental. They were also super understanding when my husband broke the garage refrigerator shelf while cleaning it upon check out (sorry again for that!)! Overall, definitely a 5 star rental! We’ll be back!

Perfect family getaway

We had a terrific stay in this charming cottage which fit our needs perfectly. The house is situated on a quiet street but is a short walk to the beach, shops, or bay to watch the sunset. Our family enjoyed many meals on the screened-in porch with the harvest table and relaxing views of the lagoon. The multiple bedrooms were great so everyone could spread out and have their space. Elizabeth was also terrific to work with and sort out any questions promptly. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Fabulous location, all the stars align on this property

Helpful owner. House comes with many thoughtful extras. We loved the kayaks, paddle board, umbrella, beach chairs & beach tags. Short walk to the uncrowded beach. Plenty of parking. Kitchen was fully stocked. Tasteful decor. Looking forward to future visits.

Large home on the lagoon short walking distance to beach

A great property for a large family.location was excellent on the lagoon very short walk to the beach. Quiet end of the island walking distance to restaurants, market and ice cream shop. I would totally recommend this rental.

Magical Week with Family

This property has everything you need for a fun family vacation. It is in a serene setting, equipped with kayaks and a paddle board, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas (though we brought our own new one), games, and even a few books if you finish yours. There are a several items in the pantry that can come in handy if you run out of olive oil or salt or peanut butter, pasta, tuna, etc..... it was helpful in a pinch. Being on the canal was wonderful, and peaceful. Sunsets at the end of the block are stunning! The beach is only short block away. We spent lots of time on the screened-in-porch. Even in the rain, we could hang out and eat there. The house is dated, but clean and the perfect getaway for families. If you have little ones, you will have to watch them, as the canal is right there, but other than that, this house can't be beat.

A great beach home, with easy access to the beach, canal, amenities and restaurants. Well equipped. The screened in porch is wonderful! The host provide ample beach supplies, kayaks and SUP - all of which are in very good condition. Highly recommend!! 5stars!!

Great house, awesome location.

This house has a fully stocked kitchen, a great area to eat in the screened in porch or in the backyard by the canal. We enjoyed a kayak in the bay early morning. I prefer this location away from the busy business districts of Surf City etc. but you're a close drive if needed. The beach was delightful: water temperature was warm, and very shallow at low tide which is perfect for little kids to play. Lifeguards were there from 10am-5pm. I was comfortable with the amount of people on the beach in the spirit of social distancing. Not too crowded - just right. Communication with the owner was straightofrward smooth sailing.

Vacation with Family

We all loved our vacation at LBI. Our whole family has planned a week together at the shore for three years now. We especially enjoyed this home. We were 10 adults and 2 small grandchildren. We loved the bay beach a few blocks away. We tried a different ice cream store almost every night. One ice cream store is just two blocks away. Went to Bay Village. Food shopped at ShopRite. Flew a kite on the beach which is only a block away. All the equipment at the house was in great condition. The house was nicely decorated. The back porch is where great memories were made at meal time, card games and more. The front porch was cozy also. Most of us used the outside shower. We took the whole family to MudCity Crab House, the food was great !

LBI Family Vacation

This is a wonderful home to spend your vacation in. Great location, and an amazing house that has everything you could want. Short walk to the beach and the canal is great to swim in and kayak in. Two kayaks and a stand up paddle board supplied hours a fun. The owners are incredibly nice and genuinely want you to enjoy their home. Would definitely stay here again.

Family friendly

Lovely home, well equipped with kayaks, paddle board beach chairs and anything you could need in the kitchen to cook with. Comfortable beds, washer and dryer a plus. Even had games for a rainy day. Really has everything for a great vacation, we so enjoyed our time here. Would definitely recommend staying here. Theresa

Great place to relax and enjoy the beach! Easy driving distance to shopping and other venues!

Our family had a great time at this property! The setup was perfect for us - roomy bedrooms, plenty of living space, and great outdoor living area! We spent much of our time on the front porch and the screened in back porch, along with the terrific deck in the back. The kitchen was well stocked. Having the second refrigerator in the garage was a big plus. The gas grill worked great for us! We used the kayak supplied to venture out to the bay. A very easy walk to the beach - no problems at all crossing Long Beach Blvd, especially with the light one block to the north. There are plenty of beach chairs and beach toys in the garage (we did bring some of our own!). The outdoor shower is one of the best we have ever used! Great to remove the sand after a day at the beach! The neighbors were very pleasant when we saw them. For most of the week it was very quiet, just what we were looking for! And the sunsets at the end of the street over the bay were amazing! We could walk or short drive to the restaurants and shops in Harvey Cedars, or a quick drive to Barnegat Light to see Old Barney and visit Viking Village. We did drive down to Beach Haven to enjoy elephant ears from Crust and Crumb and go to Show Place Ice Cream Parlor. Easy to get there! The washer and dryer (on the second floor) were great for us (less packing!). Overall, we would recommend this property to anyone who wants to go to the beach for a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. You can spend the entire week right here enjoying the home and the surrounding area, or use it as a base to explore! The beach was great, the people were friendly, the experience was terrific! The owners were easy to work with for the rental and provided us with everything that we needed from them to have a great week. Thanks for the opportunity to spend some time in this wonderful property!

Our family loved our time in Harvey Cedars! The owners are kind and respond promptly. The home is lovely, well furnished with everything we needed during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened-in back porch overlooking the water. We ate all of our meals at this table. Our kids were able to crab off the dock right there in the backyard. It is a perfect location with a very short walk to the beach. The beach was not crowded and our kids loved it! Shops and restaurants are within walking or biking distance. We had such a wonderful experience this summer staying in this house. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay TWO weeks! We are definitely hoping to return next year.
