Nice stay

Nice house, very clean and close to the beach and attractions. We enjoyed our stay and have no issues. We were not able to use the grill since it looks like it had never been cleaned. Overall we had a very nice stayed and would come back

Cozy spot for close family time.

The house and property were clean, the beds were comfy. We liked the outdoor seating and showers, and the grill (although it could use a deep cleaning). Wifi was strong enough for all our devices. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A SHORE THING was a relaxing wonderful stay

This was a great spot. We stayed in Unit 1 that had three bedrooms and a front room that had a lovely day bed for extra sleeping accommodations. We felt right at home immediatelly. It was very clear that the unit was brand new. New floors, new kitchen, new bathroom and simplistic yet lovely decor. We walked across the next block to a great restaurant r with a Restsurant tear area. Good band and great food. You can walk theee block to RAIMONDOS and THE LOCAL which are two great spots for meals. BYOB was fun for RAIMONDOS. We cooked a few meals with ease as the kitchen was inventoried with everything we needed to cook. We also used the new grill that was set up in the private back yard. There’s a large tree that gives you fabulous shade in the afternoons when you return from the beach. The beach is spectacular. A little over 2 blocks and we had a wonderful time riding the waves and watching surfers and wind surfers enjoy the ocean. The AC came in handy this week with the 90 degree weather but by today we had the windows opened and enjoyed the ocean breeze that came through our unit. We are already planning our next visit to A Shore Thing. Looking forward to coming back during Indian Summer this Fall to enjoy all it has to offer!

Best location for Kids! Lovely backyard for dining

This beautiful home - gorgeously renovated from end to end - sits in the best location in LBI. The photos do not do it justice. The backyard is truly lovely - we loved grilling our dinners, including grilling octopus and corn from The Local market/cafe a block away. The backyard table provides a European al fresco dining any time, under a lovely tree for shade and comfortable outdoor chairs for lounging. The children loved the backyard space for playing, whether water gun battles or water balloon fights (the steps in the backyard provide a great perch for little ones to throw their water balloons!). The location is incredible. We were visiting from NYC, where we can get anything anywhere anytime. This location was no different. We had The Local market and cafe a block away, with the best breakfast sandwiches and prepared foods. There is also a farmers market Country Corner Market with fresh produce nearby. Many other restaurants nearby, including the original Woodies ice cream and burger drive in. The beach is 2 blocks away, with a great beach and surf shop right there to rent boards. Walter's bicycle shop down the street offers bike rentals. Steps away you can find miniature golf, fun arcade, and best ice cream. Great shopping around the corner on Long Beach Blvd. The location is right in the middle of the island, offering easy access North to the Lighthouse (yes, a Lighthouse you can climb up and see the view!), Surf City shopping, playgrounds (don't miss Sunset Park playground in Harvey Cedars, where kids can play in a wooden pirate ship), and the best public fishing pier (also in Sunset Park). (The house is right nearby a fisherman supply shop.) To the South you have the many mini golf and ice cream options of Ship Bottom, playground and bay side beach of Bayview Park, and the fun at the amusement park and arcade at Beach Haven (don't miss Fantasy Island's campy magic show at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30). The public library is nearby. Many public concerts and free events abound. The home is listed as 3 bedrooms but we used the daybed and trundle in the sun room upfront (a 4th bedroom). The separate laundry room provides a terrific space for beach supplies and storage. The kitchen is newly renovated with an enormous farm-house sink (can I take it home, please?). And the A/C cools everything down very fast (but the new windows opened very easily for cross ventilation and fresh breeze). The owner is a doll and very responsive!

Great shore getaway

Great little house that is conveniently located near the causeway. Lots of amenities within walking distance. The only thing we missed having was a deck but we did make use of the shaded backyard. There are three bedrooms that have a full-sized, full-sized, and twin bed respectively. There is a semi-private room with no door at the front of the house with another twin bed. The street was very quiet and it's a quick walk to the beach.

The house was great! We love lbi and it was close to everywhere we like to go!

The house was perfect! Nice kitchen and cool backyard with outdoor showers. Plenty of breeze through the windows when it wasn’t hot and AC when needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great rental, great beach, great location!

Great week at this rental! House is very clean, perfect size for our family. Ship Bottom beach was beautiful - just a short 2 1/2 block walk. Great restaurants nearby in walking distance - The Greenhouse and Local Market. Surf City restaurants and stores also a short bike ride away! Owner sends great details/information in advance. We hadn't been to LBI in 9 years but it was great to return there!

Great property in a great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seas the Day property in July 2021!! The house is very clean and nicely updated. The listing was a bit confusing when it came to how the house sleeps 8 people, but another review helped us figure it out. There are three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a single bed. There is also a front room with a single trundle bed and the sofa in the living room is a sofa bed. Our teenage boys took the trundle bed in the front room, our girls shared a double bed, and my husband and I took the other double bed. The boys used the back bedroom with the single bed as their changing room. It worked out great! The refrigerator has an ice maker which was extremely helpful and the stacking washer/dryer was a huge bonus. I would love to rent this property again in the future!

Great house near the beach!

This was a great property a couple blocks from the beach. It is close to the bridge so probably a bit more traffic around than other parts of the island but it worked for us. We have two little boys (1.5 and 3 months) and the house was pretty kid friendly. Bedrooms are small but wasn’t an issue. Note that there isn’t a bathtub if you have small kids, but the sink is a good size! Easy walk to the beach and food/ice cream. Overall great stay!

Awesome house!

Had a great time! Great location! Great house! Close to the beach. Bike rental, arcade, ice cream, burgers, etc- all in walking distance. Our family really enjoyed the stay. House was a perfect size for our family of 4. Clean! Modern! Newly renovated! Tasteful beach decor! House had everything we needed. Will definitely return:)

A short walk to a great beach.

My family and I had a great stay at the 3 bedroom 1st floor. The house was great with everything we needed for a fun week at the shore. The house was a few blocks to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants and stores around.

A great place to land in LBI

We had a great week at this spot. 2-1/2 blocks from beach (5 min walk - short blocks) and wonderful accommodations. We loved the many spots we could walk to for dinner (one being directly across from us in next block). They had a store for beer and liquor too. Also RAIMONDOS was a great great spot. Two blocks and you’re there. BYOB which was a nice bonus. Maria and Kurt are nice people who thought of everything we needed for iutmr stay. We are planning a Fall getaway to come back. Btw the entire place is brand new. Which was an added bonus.
