My mom and I were searching for somewhere to have a relaxing girlâs weekend and we found the perfect place. The farmhouse is charming, with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Everything we needed for a lovely weekend. We had a minor issue pop up and the property manager was so prompt in responding. Highly recommend!!
We just had an incredible stay at this neat little farmhouse VRBO near Red Lodge, Montana! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spotlessly clean and inviting the home was. It felt wonderfully cozy and was incredibly well-stocked with every amenity we could possibly need for our two families. The highlight was definitely the absolute solitude and the jaw-dropping views â sitting on the front porch felt like stepping into a Montana postcard. Our host was fantastic and incredibly accommodating. We can't recommend this property enough!
This is an amazing property. It's very "off the grid" in the ranch lands of Montana, about 15-20 minutes outside of Red Lodge. It's peaceful with views of the mountains, a friendly herd of cows at the fence, and lots of Montana big sky (sunsets included). The house is well furnished in a modern farmhouse style with all the modern conveniences. It really is a beautiful vacation spot. The only thing I would caution is that there is very little cell service - enough for a call but not to download email or use any data. Unfortunately, the WIFI was also out when we arrived, unbeknownst to the host. We were there over the weekend, so there was nothing that could be done before departure. We embraced the solitude and unplugged for the weekend, which worked for us. It was a great weekend stay.
This sweet farmhouse was exactly what we needed!! It was super cozy, the beds were incredibly comfy and there were all of the essentials we could possibly need!! And the views...PERFECT for us to take our family photos on and the pond was wonderful for our boys!! Cannot recommend more!!
We LOVED this cute Montana farmhouse so much! It was a very busy weekend in Red Lodge and we appreciated being able to get away from the craziness and take in the beautiful hilly views, sunsets, and mooing cows. We started our days with coffee on the porch swing and ended them watching the sun go down behind the pond. It was a wonderful trip and we hope to visit again.
Everything was very nice. Friendly, clean, comfortable. Sue stocked us with firewood, towels, snacks, drinks, WiFi. Water was hot in the outdoor shower which was really fun. We loved our experience here!
Loved this home! Beautifully designed and equipped, peaceful serene location only 20 minutes from Red Lodge, cool Montana town. Views are awesome, mountains, hills, cows grazing, pond with friendly talkative ducks. Owner and property manager are terrific hosts. We'll be back.
Everything was wonderful! The home, property and setting were perfect for our needs, as we were looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.
The house and amenities were amazing, and Sue was quick to respond to our questions , warm, and accommodating. She also had great suggestions on places to eat and activities. We stayed four nights and enjoyed every minute!
What a great gem. 13 miles from Red Lodge. Beautiful setting. Perfect for romantic getaway or family vacation. Step outside and see a skyful of stars. Peefect.
Second year staying for our anniversary. Love the remote peaceful location. Surrounding house are cattle so if you love the sound of cows mooing this is the place for you. Property manager/owner were very understanding with a few things that was greatly appreciated.
We loved the property. The kitchen was extremely well appointed. The property manager was prompt and very helpful. The views of the mountains and the high plains wee gorgeous. We loved the ducks and the neighbors cows.
Montana farmhouse was exceptionally clean kitchen well stocked, quiet and remote however, this is Montana so youâre out there anyway. We used this VRBO as a base for our wandering around Red Lodge, Little Big Horn and Yellowstone NP. A bit far from the north, west and south entrance to Yellowstone. At this price point you can spend a night at one of those entrances if you want to do Yellowstone for several days. Great location to experience the Beartooth Scenic Highway. We drove through the countryside surrounding area of this VRBO and experienced the agricultural community here. I would recommend this VRBO.
My husband and I wanted a quite getaway for our 25th anniversary. Farmhouse was that and more. Clean, loved everything about it. Bonus was the pond below. Great deck to drink morning coffee.
Incredible setup, stunning views, a perfect getaway
Sueâs tiny house is packed with charm and she has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We were celebrating our anniversary and she left a note and champagne on top of the already well-equipped, impeccably clean, and gorgeous set up. We arrived late and she communicated everything so clearly and went out and turned on all the lights so that we knew just where to go. The mountain sunset and the beautifully starlit Montana sky weâre just icing on the cake to this amazing spot. We just wish we were able to be there longer!!
We absolutely adored this darling and cozy farmhouse! After a stressful week, we wanted to get away from it all, and our farmhouse stay was just what we needed. Everything from top to bottom is great about this home! The beds are super comfy, home well stocked, cute ducks and donkeys with a pond and fire pit. We enjoyed spending quality family time at this property. The interior design and decor is magazine worthy! Truly an authentic Montana farm life rental property amongst the rolling hills with big Mountain Viewâs⊠yet still close to Red Lodge and the Beartooth Highway and mountain range⊠close to dining, beautiful drives and hikes! Sue was great, too! We will be back!
We loved our stay at this little oasis & hope to return next year! The drive in on the dirt road, while a bit bumpy in spots, was easily navigated by car. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch which has an umbrella to shade the sun. A family of 8 ducks flew in one morning, spent the day on the pond, then flew out after sunset. We also watched a muskrat and several turtles in the pond and heard coyotes howling one night while sitting by the fire. We appreciated the welcome snacks, especially the wine, and found the tiny house to be very clean and well kept. The compost toilet was so easy to use and had no odor at all. The outdoor shower (hand-held, wall mount shower massage!) was a fun experience and the wooden walkway leading to it was a nice addition. It is the quietest place we've slept in years and the sunsets were awesome. To top it all off, Sue is such a gracious and friendly host!
We had the most incredible stay at this charming home only a short distance from downtown Red Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were utterly captivated by the breathtaking views of rolling green hills that stretched as far as the eye could see. The scenery was straight out of a postcard. The property's allure was further heightened by cows peacefully grazing in the lush fields. One of our favorite features of this home was the delightful pond adorned with the ownerâs beloved ducks, we had the best time feeding them, they were so friendly. We spent hours on the expansive porch sipping morning coffee to unwinding with a glass of wine while enjoying the pink sunsets behind the rolling hills. Inside, the charm continued with a thoughtfully decorated interior that exuded comfort and warmth and was impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-appointed, so much so, we decided to eat in rather than eat out! We found a local rancher to purchase steaks and we grilled out followed by a night by the fire pit at the pond under the stars. The hosts were accommodating, making sure every detail was taken care of to ensure a seamless and memorable stay. They even provided propane for the grill, wood for the fire pit, and food for the ducks! Pride of ownership in every detail. We left with a heart full of gratitude for the opportunity to experience such a magical place. Without a doubt, we will be returning to this idyllic property when we visit our son.
A beautiful, away-from-it-all place to relax. Four of us again this year used the house as base camp for a weekend of concerts at Tippet Rise. A great kitchen to cook in, then enjoy a peaceful dinner as the sun goes down. Clean, comfortable, responsive owner.
Another amazing stay here! Everything is breathtaking, beautiful, and so relaxing.
Hosts go above and beyond to make the stay is comfortable and everything needed is right there. The drive from Red Lodge is 20 min but worth the drive. Our daughter graduated and got engaged on this trip so this place will always be a favorite in our hearts. Thank you!
