The Gathering Place

The view from the upper loft/bedroom of Red Lodge Mountain ski area along with Mount Maurice and Red Lodge Golf Course is something we truly love about our home. The very spacious open living areas are comfortable for a small group or family to enjoy morning breakfast before heading out for a day of skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, shopping or just relaxing by the fireplace reading a book.
Just minutes from downtown Red Lodge where you will find many shops, restaurants, bars, fine dining and great coffee shops.

HOA has VERY strict rules on the outdoor garbage dumpster. DO NOT overfill. Bears and wildlife will knock the dumpster over.

Maximum 2 dogs. HOA has a VERY strict policy on dogs. All dogs must be leashed while outside and ALL dog waste must be picked up and thrown away.

Garbage pick up is Monday morning before 11:00 am DO NOT PUT TRASH CANS ON THE ROAD EXCEPT ON THE DAY OF PICK UP.

Great place to get away

We were in town for a wedding and this house met our needs perfectly. From the location to the accommodations, it was fantastic. Plenty of room for 3 couples, we enjoyed sitting on the deck and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Easter and closing weekend of skiing

We had a great weekend in Red Lodge. Good snow, great food and a fabulous home! The Gathering Place is a great house to rent! Clean and modern, great location.

Beautiful Home

Great vacation home, perfect size for 7-8 adults with plenty of bathroom and spacious bedrooms. Great location, quiet neighborhood that was a quick drive into town. Loved the area and hope to go back soon. Communication was great as well.

A quiet and beautiful Red Lodge getaway!

This home was wonderful. It is only a few minutes away from downtown Red Lodge, and it is located on a quiet street right on the golf course. Everything we needed was provided, and there was plenty of room for all six of us. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in Red Lodge!

Simply amazing and wonderful.

We had an amazing stay… the house was better than anticipated. Comfy, cozy and a perfect way to end the year. I am so glad I could bring my two dogs with us. They loved the walks and our kids enjoyed going downtown for dinner at Black Bistro. Unfortunately the snow wasn’t great but they got up early and went to Bridger Bowl and had a blast. Then came back to a relaxing family retreat. 100% recommend this place!

Great ski trip!

We enjoyed our stay in Red Lodge. Great location…….just a 15 minute drive to skiing. Plenty of room for our family of four. The cleaning could have been given more attention…….especially in the bathrooms. But overall happy with our stay!

Perfect space

If your travel plans for Red Lodge include multiple nights and a variety of people, you can’t beat the Gathering Place. Open and easy for a group, it’s a very comfortable space for entertaining, meals, games, etc. About the only challenge was parking for 3 vehicles, but with a little bit of creativity, it totally worked. Wonderful location - 5 minutes to downtown, and plenty of space for walks and enjoying the views.

Great Place to stay for family wedding

We appreciated the communication with Jamie beforehand during all the devastating flooding in Red Lodge. The house was perfect for our family and close to the wedding activities that took place at the golf course. A/C would have been nice, but it cooled off at night. I also could not find a hairdryer. Overall clean and welcoming!

Ski trip

Highly recommend this house if you are staying in Red Lodge. The two bedrooms & loft and 3 bathrooms worked out great for our group. We had 4 adults & 3 children. The kitchen dishes/utensils were stalked with everything that was needed. There are more than enough towels, but few washcloths for each bathroom. Other than that, everything else was great. It's a short drive to both downtown Red Lodge & Red Lodge Mtn. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Red Lodge retreat.

This is one of those rare VRBOs that exceeds your expectations. The house was perfect, clean and very well maintained. It had lots of room for the kids to play and comfortable sleeping accommodations for everyone. Three full bathrooms comes in handy when you’re all trying to get out early and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The location is ideal. Just a few minutes from downtown and less than a twenty minute drive to the chalet at Red Lodge Mountain. The deer come right up to the house, which the kids thought was cool. This one will remain on our favorites list.

Cozy, peaceful house

Highly recommend this Red Lodge house! Spacious inside for a large group. We had 8 total, 3 couples, 2 children, and felt there was plenty of room for all of us. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the rubber corner protectors on the coffee table, especially with a toddler in tow! The kitchen is stocked with essentials, but do read the list of included items before you book/stay! (That pretty much goes for any vacation home rental). Beds/pillows/linens were all excellent and satisfied everyone. Towels were plentiful and soft. The location is ideal for those who are looking for peace and quiet! This house is not within walking distance of main street, but is about a 5 min drive to shops/restaurants and 15 min drive to skiing. We all loved the views, walking trails, and wildlife sightings! Will definitely stay here again!
