We stayed 2 nights. We got to see the wild horses, stallions, mares and babies walking thru the forest. We also experienced a herd of Prong Horn Antelope walking and playing, All this was watched from the back deck of the property. We went to Willow Springs Lake and caught some awesome trout too! What a great place. Everything is modern and clean. Fenced yard making it great for pets. The back porch with the view of the wild Horses is just amazing. Can not beat this for a getaway. They supply all the info about the area where to play, eat and hike. This is our go to place and will return again for sure. A

The hosts were so responsive in communicating with us and very clear with all the necessary information about our stay. The house is beautiful, the area is breathtaking, and importantly the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and equipment. The area has a whole host of things to occupy your time and also the peace to sit on the porch and appreciate nature. From now on this WILL be our destination to further explore this wonderfully peaceful world.

Our small group enjoys staying at Willows retreat! The house is well appointed and has everything that you need.The feral horses outback are fun to watch. We even saw 3 antelope. Have stayed here multiple times and will return in September.

Property is gorgeous, amenities are plentiful, sheer and towels are top notch. There’s a sweet binder left for the guest to give you a run down on the town that we found very helpful. Kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary cookware and the back porch was like a dream

Cabin cozy especially with fireplace in chilly weather. Very pet friendly. Location perfect - isolated yet not far from a few stores as needed. Love that the property backed to open forest.

We enjoyed the property thoroughly. Loved sitting on the back porched with the wind slightly blowing watching the wild horses. It was such a thrill to see the wild horses. The only thing I wish the cabin had was another TV due to the fact that we had a small child with us and someone who has dementia, it very hard to find something on the TV they both can watch and keep the sound at a certain level together to please both parties. We will have to plan better for those two, but besides that, it was perfect. We enjoyed playing games, fishing and relaxing on the porch. We would definitely do it again.

Got a wonderful stay the cabin was excellent wonderful back porch and front porch. We saw tons of wild horses and a pronghorn antelope just off the back porch.

We had a great trip to this cabin! Everything was very clean and the decor was cute. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed seeing the wild horses. Overall great stay!

This cabin has everything you could possibly need and is very cozy and comfortable. It s super special as it backs up to the forest area where we saw wild horses every day of our stay!! Highly recommended

Great location!

I have a lot of friends in the Heber Overgaard area so this house is a perfect location. This is the second time that I have stayed here and I would reserve again!

Always a pleasant relaxing stay at this cabin. Marc and Eve are very quick to respond. The back covered patio is one of pur favorite spots. Also the walking in the area is beautiful.

Family trip

My parents are moving to Az from Colorado and this spot was perfect for us to stay while looking at houses in the area. The cabin was perfect and our hosts were very welcoming and wonderful! Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We'd definitely stay here again if we head back to the Heber area. The property was clean and had a nice layout. We brought a 17-month old (very mobile) toddler, and it worked out really well. There was even a few toys and some kids books for him to play with.

Very clean and comfortable. Backs up to forest land we saw wild horses every evening and morning of our stay. The cabin is beautiful.

Retreat in the Pines

Beautiful cabin and surroundings! So peaceful sitting on the deck watching the horses room by. Perfect amenities for us and for the pups. They loved the yard and walking trails.
