Récemment acheté, un pays des merveilles naturelles vous accueille à "Tall Meadow Rue", un magnifique cottage en pierre anglais avec des vitraux et un décor haut de gamme, niché dans l'isolement à quelques pas du centre-ville de Mentone et de toutes les activités de plein air vous faisant signe dans la zone pittoresque environnante.

Le cadre paisible comprend une maison / studio de thé, une chapelle extérieure, un étang à poissons rouges, des jardins sculptés de style européen avec des plantes exotiques et des figures emblématiques, un foyer en pierre, une véranda privée avec véranda et d'autres attractions naturelles.

Cette maison et ce cadre pourraient être une escapade parfaite en mini-retraite, une diversion holistique, une lune de miel intime, des vacances en famille, des retrouvailles entre femmes ou amis, ou la base idéale pour des explorations panoramiques de la région.

Beautiful home

Absolutely perfect stay. House is huge and beautiful property; plenty of room for a family or gathering, though it was just me this trip. Close to hiking at DeSoto Falls Park, BrownPark is a nice walk from home… cute little shops in area. I golfed at several courses with 30-40 minutes (Mclemore is gorgeous)… property owner was a great resource for restaurants and area things to do. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Property

You never know for sure if a destination will live up to the pictures posted in VRBO. Tall Meadow Rue is even more beautiful than pictures because pictures can't depict the peace and serenity that's there. Grounds, house, beds, kitchen; all made this a wonderful stay.

Relaxation at it’s finest

Unique and enjoyable place to stay.

Unique, attractive house located near downtown Mentone. Very well maintained and decorated inside with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We visited at Christmas so many of the outside activities were limited by cold temps but I know they would add to the stay during warmer times.

50th Birthday Moms’ Weekend

My sister and I stayed at Tall Meadow Rue with four of our closest friends to celebrate her 50th. For six busy moms, this was the getaway spot we needed! The house was clean and cozy, the kitchen perfect for preparing meals, and the garden so relaxing!

Beautiful property

We thoroughly enjoyed stay! There were four of us and we had more than enough room and four comfy recliners! The grounds are beautiful. We have already booked a return visit! It was a very lovely place to have our family retreat.

Beautiful fairytale property

Wonderful property. Beds comfy and convenient to all of Mentone. We stayed here a few days before Alpine camp dropoff. The boys had a blast making a fire and s’mores in firepit and waking up each morning to feed the fish in the pond. Owners were great communicators and very detailed with check in/out process and all the things we needed to know about the property. Would love to stay again!

Relaxing home!

This home is beautiful and convenient. We were able to sneak away and relax for a few days very easily at Tall Meadow Rue. The property and grounds were lovely and well-manicured. Kudos to the owners for offering up such a very cool place!

The house was lovely inside and out. Kitchen is nicely equipped. The beds we’re comfortable. Lot’s of thoughtful detail. Out family had a wonderful visit to Tall Meadow Rue.

The perfect spot!

This property is absolutely perfect in every way! There was not one thing that we were disappointed with. Our girls trip was highly anticipated and this property met our every need. We especially enjoyed the four recliners as a place to rest and to play games.. and talk the night away! We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and s’mores. The screened in back porch is a must. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to really take advantage of the Chapel, but hope on our next trip that we really will be able to enjoy it. Definitely want to come back soon!

Mountain Retreat

A peaceful oasis and a perfect stay

Tall Meadow Rue is a delightful hidden gem and a peaceful oasis in the beautiful Mentone community. I needed a relaxing break from reality, and this property was the perfect place to unwind. The home was immaculate, and smelled fresh and clean from the moment we walked in. I’ve never stayed anywhere that provided so many thoughtful comforts as they did. I spent time working on my book in the writing studio, and the sound of the bubbling water in the koi pond brought me so much peace. I’m already planning a return visit.

Ladies' Trip

The house was absolutely perfect for our trip! We are four friends who are retired teachers and love to travel together. The gardens and grounds were awesome (we have two master gardeners) and we each had our own bedroom. We were able to visit several of the waterfalls in the area which were beautiful! The owners were very accommodating when we had a coffee pot issue. We would love to stay there again!

Another wonderful stay at Tall Meadow Rue

In town for a class reunion, my friends and I enjoyed our stay at Tall Meadow Rue in Mentone! Such a unique place to stay, house stays cool and comfortable with the amazing canopy of trees. We were close to town and Desoto Falls, across from a church with a beautiful prayer garden and the property itself is a gardener’s delight! We will return!

Close to perfect!

All of us loved this property! It has it all. As older guests, we did feel better placement of the handrail would make it easier getting in and out and adding a hand rail on the other side of steps would be helpful.

Wonderful

We had such a wonderful week staying at Tall Meadow Rue. The property was everything promised and more. The pictures do not do justice. Incredible clean, comfortable, and well stocked with just about everything you need to feel at home. The gardens are amazing. So thankful that the property was dog friendly. Within walking distance to downtown Mentone with great restaurants.

Family Time

We had a lovely stay. We really felt like we had gone somewhere special. Larry has put a lot of thought and energy in making sure that everything is perfect. The town is full of kind people who love the arts. We enjoyed hiking to see waterfalls and just walking the labyrinth at St.Joseph’s. Mentone Market has a good pizza and friendly staff. We hope to come back. Very dreamy.

A Meditative Dream House

I'm almost hesitant to share a review of this home because it feels like such a sacred, special place. While the photos are beautiful, they don't do this home justice. Each space in the house and on the grounds is thoughtfully curated. Whether you're religious or not, the property feels like you're on a retreat with meandering gravel paths, statues, native plants and art. We spent time sitting in the tea house and the chapel, listening to the burble of the fountain, the crackle of the fire, and wind in the trees. The church bells across the street chime every hour through the day. The inside of the home is filled with quiet luxuries too, from the comfortable beds to the reclining living room chairs. We walked quite a bit into town, exploring the little shops and ducking into Mentone Market for food and gifts and Fantastic Food truck for delicious wraps and burgers. DeSoto Falls is a short drive away, as is Brow Park, both of which we enjoyed each day during our stay. We absolutely plan to return to this beautiful, relaxing property. The hosts, as well, were exceptionally communicative and helpful.
