Ocean Front Get-a-way

À quelques pas de vous avoir les orteils dans le sable, cette petite maison est l'une des rares Ă  ĂȘtre directement sur la plage. Voir et entendre l'ocĂ©an tout en Ă©tant assis sur le patio. Regardez le lever du soleil sur l'ocĂ©an depuis la grande fenĂȘtre. La maison est idĂ©ale pour jusqu'Ă  six personnes. Moins d'un quart de mile Ă  pied de l'Ă©picerie, des salons de coiffure et de manucure, de Beall's Outlet et de toutes sortes de restaurants. Si vous recherchez plus que la plage, il est Ă  moins de deux miles de la plupart des parcs d'Ormond Beach, Ă  la fois sur l'ocĂ©an et l'inter-cĂŽtier, offrant une variĂ©tĂ© d'activitĂ©s de plein air actives et passives. Moins de quatre miles de la cĂ©lĂšbre route de Daytona sur les plages, et Ă  seulement quelques minutes en voiture du Daytona Speedway avec toutes les activitĂ©s et restaurants de Daytona entre les deux.

La maison est entiĂšrement meublĂ©e avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. TV et Wifi sont fournis. Apportez simplement un maillot de bain et un short et vous ĂȘtes prĂȘt Ă  partir. Le nettoyage quotidien n'est pas fourni, mais un nettoyage hebdomadaire peut ĂȘtre organisĂ©. À part emballer les poubelles, vous n'avez rien Ă  nettoyer au dĂ©part.

Best stay ever!

This house had everything we needed for beach fun! 2 canopies, tons of chairs, blankets, towels, boogie boards, toys. The home was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, I was able to keep everyone’s bellies happy so easily :-) And we could see the beach from our picture window, SO CLOSE!!!

Location is awesome. It is right down the road from Daytona. The beach is just steps away. You have a private walk way to the beach and not very many people in your area. The owners are great.

Fantastic Beach House

You couldn't ask for a better location or house. The House had everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. Everything you need at your fingertips, nothing has been forgotten, the host is amazing. He truly wants to make sure your stay is perfect. Plenty of supplies for the house as well as the beach. All you have to do is show up and enjoy!

Paradise

The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice! It is adorable & comfy. The view is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning from our comfy chairs on the patio. Walked on the beach every day. Jim & Melanie came by to welcome us & visit, how many owners do that?? They even left us a bottle of wine. Everything at the cottage was so nice. We hope to return. Thanks for a perfect vacation.

Home Away From Home

Omg! Nice cozy beachfront cottage is an understatement! Everything was lovely. Our vacation was superb. From the planning process all the way up until we left was a success. We met the owner Jim, and he was awesome. Anything we needed all I had to do was call or send a text and he was Johnny on the spot. Anything you needed, it was right there. Easy access to everything. We've always stayed in really nice direct beachfront resorts, and we've been to Ormond several times and we've always stayed in that area. So now that we've found our home away from home this will be where we will stay anytime we visit Ormond. Thanks to the Winton's.

Return to The 50's With a 21st Century Vibe

We had an excellent week at Jim's property at Ormond Beach. He was a pleasure to work with and it was very nice to meet both him and his wife. The cottage is 1950 on the outside (but in a good way) and 2020 on the inside. The spare bath is the stereotypical pink and green. The master bath is an oasis of stone and stainless. The living area is open with the kitchen which is well stocked. While this is a 2nd row home, your ocean view through the wall to wall front room is absolutely beautiful. I can not express how impressed we were with the owners. Our questions were promptly answered and I'm sure, if we had had any problems, they would have been taken care of immediately. The home is centrally located and is an easy drive or walk to anything that you may need. We wholeheartedly recommend this location and hope to make this visit an annual trip.

Had a wonderful week at this cottage in August. Kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of linens (including beach towels), and beach chairs and outdoor shower for sandy days! The view of the ocean from inside the cottage was spectacular thanks to Erin heading up the coast! Can recommend this to anyone looking for some laid back beach time!

We loved this beach cottage! The cottage has everything you need; fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, toys, and lots more. It is very clean and has a great cozy feel. The ocean view is amazing and the beach is just a few steps away. The hosts are really nice and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be back!

The Cottage and location was perfect! Just what we needed and we will definitely be back.

This get a way trip was absolutely perfect!! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We didn’t even leave except twice out of the 7 nights we stayed it was exactly what we needed. Mr and Mrs came and met us and we enjoyed alittle time with them. Such a sweet couple. Thank y’all so much for sharing yalls Beach House getaway with us. Perfect Stay

This was my first time at Ormond Beach and I will return! Staying in Jim’s house was absolutely wonderful. The house is a mixture of vintage and new, very clean and comfortable. I can’t think of anything that wasn’t provided, from coffee, plenty towels & washcloths to everything needed for a day at the beach, chairs, umbrellas etc. The location is perfect, ocean view and very short walk to the beach, most beautiful sunrise each morning. And renting from Jim and Melanie was so easy, so kind & welcoming. They were available at all hours for any questions or assistance if needed. This would be a great house for an extended beach vacation đŸ–ïž it is definitely on my repeat list!!

Truly Amazing!

Everything about this stay was truly amazing! The views of the ocean are absolutely gorgeous. The house is phenomenal - wonderfully clean, nicely decorated, highly organized, and perfectly comfortable for us and our children. They have sincerely thought of everything - beach canopies & umbrellas, wagon, chairs, boogie boards, sand mat, beach bag, cooler, sand toys, along with an open floor inside with enough space to enjoy time together with board games or spread out to do different activities. Plus, they offer insightful guidance on restaurants and things to do in the area. It was everything we wanted and more!

Best view

We had the best time at this beach house.it is one of the nicest places we have stayed at.beautiful view of the ocean from the chairs outside the living room window.it is seconds to the beach.it is also on a private beach access so there is not a lot of traffic.the yard is fenced in which is perfect for your pet.the shower in the master bath is wonderful.we met the owners and they are very nice.will definitely stay again ❀

Wonderful Beach Cottage

We had the best time in Beach house. Jim was so easy to work with and very responsive. The location was just perfect for me and pup. My daughter came along for the month and worked from the nicely positioned desk set up, with the perfect ocean view. The restaurant suggestions and menus in the welcome book were helpful. Don't miss the Salty Mermaid across the street! We look forward to our stay, already booked, next year!

Cute cottage by the sea

Very nice property manager, cute house. Had everything needed to cook and hang out comfortably. Slight confusion about front and back bedroom and bed arrangement, but it was very comfortable and super close to the beach. Ormond Beach seems pretty quiet overall, but it was still relatively convenient to everything between Daytona and st Augustine.

Well kept. Jim was very easy to get along with. I also rented it for my Daughter and her husband to spend a weekend in Dec. They also loved the home and the beach. We stayed for two weeks 11-5-23 to 11-19-23

Best Vacation Ever

We woke up each and every morning to the most beautiful view of the Ocean and at night were lulled to sleep by the gentle rolling of the waves. The house was extremely clean with many upgraded items and everything in first class shape. As has been mentioned many times all you need are the clothes on your back as everything, and then some, has been provided. Got to meet Jim and his wife Melanie and that was a treat in itself...the nicest people with the most interesting of lives and it is reflected in Ocean Edge. Renovated and decorated beautifully in a very practical manner. Open concept with a whisper quiet DW/ HVAC, beautifully upgraded shower enclosure with easy access. Beds were extremely comfortable. Backyard area for pets with 2 BBQs in excellent shape....when we say "too much to mention" truer words were never spoken. Plenty of Restaurants/ Patios in the area and we have to mention every single restaurant suggested by Jim and Melanie were a 10/ 10. Our one and only suggestion is that Jim and Melanie should give courses on how to operate a rental property as they seem to not only know and care about what they're doing but also, and more importantly, enjoy themselves while doing so. In closing we would like to thank Jim and Melanie for allowing us the use of their home at Ocean Edge as it truly was the Best Vacation ever, Gary & Terri.

Originally from Michigan and Tennessee, we have longed to be on the ocean and hear the sounds of the waves crashing onto the beach. Morning walks on the beach are our preferred exercise. We are learning to surf fish. Both of us have recently retired.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

One of the few small houses on the beach side of A1A allowing direct access to the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean. Vaulted wood ceilings in the house are unique and the large open living area is so comfortable. Just the other side of the Ormondy Condos is the Tom Renick public beach park - a very easy beach walk - kids will love it.
