Profitez des grillades et du coucher du soleil sur le pont avec vue sur l'océan de la baie de Frenchman! Marchez jusqu'à Carters Beach pour aller à la chasse au verre et profiter du soleil! Naviguez, faites du kayak ou jouez au tennis à distance de marche.
Profitez des aigles, des balbuzards, des cerfs et d'autres animaux sauvages tout en vous relaxant sur le pont. Il y a une vue sur l'océan depuis la cuisine, le salon et les chambres à l'étage !!

Il s'agit d'une maison ouverte avec de nouveaux appareils haut de gamme. La cuisine a une gamme de chefs, un nouveau réfrigérateur et un nouveau lave-vaisselle. Il y a aussi une nouvelle laveuse / sécheuse au large de la cuisine dans la buanderie.
La chambre principale a un lit king size, une salle de bain principale, une baignoire profonde et des puits de lumière.
2ème chambre au deuxième étage avec 2 lits jumeaux, puits de lumière et salle de bain complète.
3e chambre est au 1er étage avec un lit queen et salle de bain complète.

Le salon a un nouveau canapé-lit queen pour cette personne supplémentaire. TV écran plat, WIFI gratuit et un piano à queue sont également dans le salon! La salle à manger formelle peut accueillir 8 à 10 personnes confortablement !! Ou profitez du coin petit-déjeuner de la cuisine avec vue sur la baie !!

Bar Harbor est à 30 à 40 minutes en voiture de la maison, et à peu près la même chose à Schoodic! Il existe de nombreux sentiers plus proches de la maison, Carters Beach, restaurants, épiceries avec en quelques minutes.

Great stay near Acadia!

Very nice house, spacious and quiet with good access to the outdoors. Driving to landmarks was simple. Kitchen is FANTASTIC. Don't hesitate to book if you're going to the Acadia region!

Maine Vacation

We loved our stay at this lovely home! Short walk to the ocean. We got to enjoy many beautiful sunrises. The dogs enjoyed playing in the yard. Was the perfect location, not far from Acadia, but far enough away from all the traffic and tourists!

Lovely stay!

This was a nice quiet place to stay during our trip. It provided us good access to both parts of Acadia and some hidden gems we hadn’t previously know about, like Tidal Falls Preserve. The house was very spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We had a lovely stay!

Fun vacation with our daughters & their pups

Very beautiful location , the house has a lot of character , excellent communication with owner & really well stocked. Short walk on trail to road & coast with sea glass , shells & even saw a whale in the bay while watching a sunset . Hope to return in the future, need more then a week explore & play !

A charming family home in Hancock Point

We had a very nice stay for 5 nights, and it was perfect for a family of 5. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the house was very spacious. The house has a lot of character and history to it, and we felt so welcomed. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for families. The drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor took about 30-40 minutes, and about 30 minutes to Schoodic Peninsula. George was very responsive to a few inquiries, and we would stay here again.

Nice home

The home was comfortable for our family. The view to the ocean was impeded by trees and not as the picture in the listing but the location was still very good. We truly enjoyed our visit.

A gem

What a great spot! Four adults, two children, and two dogs and plenty of room! Great walks and beaches, incredibly friendly neighorhood, and a great lived in space that is comfortable, cozy and has all the amenities! George was responsive and checked in to make sure we had what we needed. We will be back!

Great view, very quiet

We had a great week on Hancock Point. The house is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you might need. The drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor did take about 40 min but it is a very pretty drive. Would stay here again.

Fantastic Stay

We absolutely loved our time at this amazing home! They have everything you could possibly need and we were extremely comfortable. I loved the views and the all of the windows that made for such a bright and cheerful environment, even when it was a bit dreary outside! We are a family of 6 and had plenty of space! The house location was perfect for exploring Acadia, Bar Harbor and we even drove up to Lubec! This was our first time visiting Maine and I can’t wait to return!

Beautiful, comfortable home with great kitchen!

After a small check-in hiccup, we had an amazing stay! The home is beautiful and homey, the location is wonderful, and we can't recommend it enough. Close enough to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor that we drove there every day. Also found the local treasure, Gull Rock Pottery, close by, and the kids and my mom enjoyed finding all sorts of amazing shells, granite, and seaglass as we walked the beach close to the house. Thank you for a wonderful vacation, Mr. Mumford!

Wonder week!

We had a wonderful week staying in this lovely home. The proximity to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor was perfect. We were three couples and two dogs and we had plenty of space and took some lovely walks. We especially liked the layout with each couple having a bedroom and bathroom to themselves. And our dogs loved being able to go out on the large deck and watch the red squirrel come and go. The kitchen had everything we need to make some fabulous meals and we spent a lot of time in the breakfast nook drinking coffee, wine and talking.

Pivot from Wildfires

My family and I planned a trip for 5 months that we had to cancel last minute due to the wildfires! The Hancock property was the perfect place with enough space for all of us! We each got a room and bathroom! It was accessible for my Aunt with a slight disability and it was perfect for my service dog. Thank you so much for accommodating us last minute! What a gorgeous house and property!

Super location!

We had a marvelous time at this VRBO! We had everything we needed and more. Condiments galore, first aid kit, games and more. Beach was within walking distance and we went numerous times everyday. My daughter went home with lots of sea glass. Our dogs initially were afraid of the beach but after a week they were in up to their neck loving the waves. Thanks for allowing dogs. This was our first vacation with them. It was perfect. Hancock Point is a wonderful location and away from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Mainly Meat restaurant and The Ice cream shop next door were a wonderful find. They even allowed the dogs in and gave them each a bowl of water at a dog friendly table. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Disappointed with this property and host

Hancock point is a beautiful location and overall we had a nice vacation; however, a problem with the hot water and the host's inability to address to our satisfaction resulted in our leaving the property two days early. We were misled prior to our trip into thinking there was no problem, despite the prior guest's complaint, and that even if there was a problem it was being addressed. It turns out there was a problem and five days into our stay it had not been addressed. When notifying the host we couldn't stay any longer, they still denied there was an issue, but stated if there were an issue, hot water is considered a minor issue by VRBO, so it's a non-issue. We will definitely return to the Acadia National Park area, just not at a property managed by this host, or any by VRBO.

Not as Expected

Several issues with our stay. Property Manager never pick-up/returned calls. Dead bugs in many light fixtures, no outside furniture available, tv did not work. No shades on bedroom windows which made sleeping in the morning challenging. No coffee provided. Asked to strip beds and run a load of wash before leaving.

Loved our stay at George's house

The property was great. Nice quiet location. Very well stocked home. George was an excellent communicator. Would definitely stay here again. Lots of room for everyone to spread out and just have a good time!

The Peirce family owned numerous properties in this immediate area starting around 1900. Converse was one of four boys who grew up in Philadelphia and spent summers here in Hancock . Converse and Esther Pierce were married in 1965 and brought their combined family of eight kids from Atlanta to Maine every summer. After moving to Pelham, New York in 1970, The trip became much easier. Esther and Converse built this house as their retirement home in 1995 and became full-time residents.
