Ce second chez-soi est un tout nouvel appartement mansardé avec des commodités modernes dans un cottage historique construit en 1898. Nous sommes situés dans une rue résidentielle calme à trois pâtés de maisons au nord du vieux centre-ville de Newberg et à un pâté de maisons du campus de l'Université George Fox. L'espace lumineux et accueillant répond à tous vos besoins de base, y compris une cuisine entièrement équipée avec des équipements de cuisine généreux et du café torréfié localement gratuitement.

Sortez par la porte et marchez sur quelques pâtés de maisons pour découvrir les boutiques locales, les galeries, les salles de dégustation, les magasins d'antiquités de Newberg et une grande variété de restaurants, de la gastronomie reconnue au niveau national aux charrettes de nourriture locales populaires. The perfect place

My husband and I attended family weekend at George Fox and this was the perfect place to stay. It is across the street so no parking hassles for us as we made our way to the activities on campus.

Perfect little getaway!

Amazing rental! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenities and cleanliness. Denise was extremely thoughtful in leaving fresh eggs, local coffee beans, bagels and cream cheese, cream, orange juice, snacks, butter, etc. We will be back!

Great spot in Newberg!

We loved the apartment. The chickens and grapes were such a nice surprise! We could easily walk to restaurants and bars and were close to so many great wineries!

Great Space!

I stayed here in September 2024 for a conference at George Fox University. I was very pleased: a comfortable, large space just a couple of blocks from campus. I’d definitely stay here again, and found myself thinking I’d like to bring my wife back here and visit wineries sometime.

Cozy Stay

Cozy little property. The welcome provisions were lovely and if you don't have time to hit the grocery store before the next morning - you have all the breakfast fixings waiting for you. The flowers were a nice touch. Loved being able to walk to downtown. It was also a great location for winery visits. Denise was very pleasant to work with.

All the extras!

The thoughtful touches are something that you don’t find very often anymore ! There was breakfast food coffee and half and half. She was flexible and responsive. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!

PERFECT FOR 3 DAYS IN NEWBERG!

Super clean, cozy, comfortable apartment above the garage. WOW, we loved it and our host Denise was very helpful in picking out which wineries to visit and other tips. Bed and living room all very comfortable and the kitchen was very well furnished. Thank you Denise for providing this exceptional lodging for travelers!

Home Away from Home

My husband and I stayed here while he attended a conference at George Fox University. It was quaint and comfortable and walking distance to the university and downtown. I loved the flowers out front and in the pretty neighborhood. Denise was very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

Cozy apartment in great location

Denise made our stay very enjoyable with a darling apartment with so many extra touches like fresh flowers from her garden, fresh eggs from her chickens, local coffee beans and a few snacks on the refrigerator. The location was great for touring wineries and driving to the historic highway along the Columbia River.

Quiet, in-town location

Pleasant apartment in a good location in the heart of Newberg. Walking distance to downtown, George Fox University and Friendsview. Homey with nice hospitality from the host: fresh local w to grind and brew, fresh fruit, fresh eggs, etc. Quiet street and nice and dark at night.

Perfect little apartment

We had a wonderful stay. Our hostess was so thoughtful, having stocked the kitchen with a few breakfast essentials (coffee, fruit, bagels, eggs). We spent some time sitting outside in the evening, enjoying her garden and a little fire in the chiminea. Looking forward to visiting again!

Spring Getaway

Great location for tasting rooms and cute local shops. The apartment had everything I needed, comfortable and well equipped. Denise even stocked me with breakfast items! She is thoughtful and kind. My only comment would be that parts of the neighborhood are visually run down but at no time did I ever feel unsafe.

Cozy and Big suitcase friendly!

Excellent place. Excellent design. Great location next to down town. Warm and welcoming decor, comfy patio with garden and gorgeous roses and flowers all around. A bonus amenity you will have to see for yourself!! Accommodating host, comfort is her # 1 concern.

Great Wine Country Getaway Spot!

Denise was a fantastic host — check in was easy and had the place stocked with coffee, juice, bagels, cream cheese, and fresh eggs from her chickens. Cozy, but plenty of room to relax. We visited 6 wineries in 2 days (3 on a tour that picked us up right at the house). Just a few blocks from fantastic restaurants in Newberg and close to so many wineries and other towns.

Perfect stay

Well furnished, lovely attic apartment in prime neighborhood location walking distance to downtown. But the best part is the gracious host who thinks of everything, including the special touches like blueberries from her bushes and eggs from her hens. If we ever return to the area, we’ll stay here again. Highest recommendation.

Perfect Place

We spent four nights in this home away from home and it was absolutely perfect. We were greeted by hour host Denise when we arrived. The fridge was stocked with fresh eggs from her very own chickens along with fruit, bagels and juice. The location was great…near downtown and we felt very comfortable in the home. I would highly recommend this fabulous location and we will be back!!
