This location was so perfect! It was right on the beach near amazing restaurants. The grounds were stunning, and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Even though there were many people up and down Dickenson Beach, once you stepped into the gate at Buccaneer Beach Club, it was quiet and peaceful.
I wanted accommodation right on white sand and turqoise waters, this fit the bill perfectly. There were always enough beach chairs, at least 3 good restaurants along the beach in walking walking distance, and housekeeping was phenomenal.
Located on the quiet end of Dickenson Bay. Since we didnât have a rental car, we were limited on restaurant choices. This hotel is quiet and comfortable. Nice pool, porches on each unit, and just go through the gate to be in the beach. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas for everyone. Employees were friendly and willing to help. Would recommend this for anyone who wants a quiet vaca.
Great place to stay right on the beach. Quiet and very well kept. Looks just like pics! If you go you must try Casa Roots restaurant! We went twice. gorgeous place and great food!
Property very well kept. Amazing staff and very friendly atmosphere.
I would definitely stay at this location again upon my next visit. One particular employee stood out his name is Oscar he was always there whenever you needed him and was always willing to help with anything just outstanding.
The staff was wonderful! Excellent views of an amazing place. Nicely appointed rooms equipped to accommodate cooking meals. We ate breakfast in the room and dinners out. Four restaurants in walking distance (700 ft). Nice little beach next to jet ski rentals and a food vendor (get the jerk chicken, it was amazing). We would definitely stay here again.
Overall impressions are very positive. Would recommend more clarity in the advertisement as we believed we had booked an apartment with a washing machine and dishwasher but this is only within 2 of the 18 properties within the resort. Maintenance and cleaning teams were fantastic.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They greeted us every day like they were happy we were there. Easy access to a nice beach, with some nice close-by water-based activities. I would suggest that you bring a fair amount of cash as many places donât accept cards (ATMs are hard to find).
My husband and I were coming early for his company trip at the Sandals and stayed here for much less than expanding our trip at Sandals. Nice living room area to relax. Love the beach area. Nice patio set on the front porch. The staff was wonderful! If we have the chance to come back this is the place to stay!
The property is all good.
If your staying for a short trip or a long while.
This is a good spot.
Its safe
Its got clean facilities
The villa had enough space
The grounds are safe and maintained.
All good.
The staff were amazing kind helpful and professional. Our only concern was not hearing from the accommodation once we had booked despite several emails .
The accommodation was spacious clean and comfortable. The garden was delightful beautifully maintained. You can breakfast immediately next door and indeed there are choices of restaurant within walking distance . However if you want to travel further afield the staff will book restaurants and taxis for you . We were so impressed with their help .
We returned to Antigua for a second time and were absolutely pleased with our accommodations. The staff at Buccaneer Beach Club were warm and gracious hosts. The front office team was terrific about making recommendations and arrangements for the activities we wanted to participate in. There are several restaurants with in walking distance and they did not disappoint. We loved the privacy of the property and the convenience of being on right on the beach. We highly recommend and would return if we come back.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The beach area out front is lovely and well maintained. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger. The staff are very nice, and the property is clean and in generally good condition. The beaches to the right are developed but to the left there is a nice, undeveloped stretch of the Dickenson's Bay beach with just a jerk shack. The whole area becomes very crowded on cruise ship days, so it's a good idea to take a day trip then. We really enjoyed going to English Harbor and Galleon Beach for a day trip.
Dickenson Bay did not disappoint. Staff, location, beaches A+. Great location. If you stay more than 4 days I would recommend a car. So much to see around the island. . . Shirley Heights is a must on either a Sunday or Thursday, the English Harbour, great place to walk around, awesome restaurants. . .
If you stay location a must try restaurant (not even a mile away) Casa Roots. . fantastic if we had know how good it was earlier in our stay we would have gone back.
Also, I ran every day from Dickerson bay all around it very safe (Hot) and lots of hills but worth it. .
Note, the supermarket 1st choice is exactly 1 mile away which was great to know.
We would most definitely return.
If you want a beautifully landscaped accommodation with direct access to the beach for a truly relaxing time away from home, this is it. The living room/kitchen, bath and bedroom are neat and clean. All employees are very friendly and helpful. The large pool is maintained regularly and so are the grounds. There are also nice restaurants just steps away on the beach. Our only disappointment was that we planned to use the grill one night to make dinner but it would not work despite Edwin's attempts to help us.
This cute little quaint hotel right on the beach was perfect. The staff was super friendly. The units were updated Some of the best food on the beach was on either side of this hotel. O will definitely come back to stay.
The resort, rooms, grounds and pool were well taken. Are if and very clean.
The beach was spectacular, cleaned daily and great chairs and Impella.
The location was also a plus, as it was close to everything.
Maybe due to being the off season, but the lack of restaurant was the only challenge.
Now, ROTI KING in St. Johnâs was the best. As we like the local food and not the âposhâ tourist restaurants. But that just us.
