My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Fort Russell Carriage House. We were in town for a family reunion and the Carriage House proved to be the perfect âbase campâ. It was cozy and quiet, and just a really relaxing place to be. Highly recommend.
We came to visit our daughter at WSU and needed a place that was close, but not right in town. Came across this carriage house, and it was a great bet! Nice neighborhood and nice people all around, Robyn and Craig especially. The space is quaint and really well done. We enjoyed learning about the history of the property in the book which lines up with the character of the property. Hope to stay again in the future.
Convenient location. Close to family and downtown. A bit drafty in the winter. Limited food prep area - micro, hot water pot, mini frig. Carpet and paint needs repair and updating.
Enjoyed the gracious hospitality of this Host Family for the Third Time
I have now added Fall to my previous Spring and Winter stays at the Carriage House in Moscow. Easily among the top 10% of unique VRBO offerings in North America.
Perfect place to stay if you just need a place to crash and shower as you come and go throughout Moscow/Pullman. Clean and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and communicative.
Such a gorgeous space - the neighborhood and downtown Moscow did not disappoint. Such good food and great vibes!
The carriage house was just what we needed. Only minor issue was there wasn't a lot of coffee to use, mostly decaf and tea.
Everything about the Carriage House is easy and relaxing. The owner's are thoughtful and communicate well. They offercthe perfect blend of comfort and privacy. Always a pleasure
Perfect for wife and I. Came into town for parents weekend at the University and this place was perfect. Close to downtown. Clean and quiet
Will definitely stay here again
This was my second stay in what has to be the best accommodation spot on the Palouse. Skip the sterile and boring hotel room and do yourself a favor when traveling to Moscow, BOOK the Carriage House!
I really enjoyed my stay. I travel for work and just need a place to sleep and privacy. I eat meals out so no need for a full kitchen, There is a small fridge, Micro and Coffee for snacks. Its a great location and the communication was outstanding. I would definitely stay again.
The hosts are so helpful and responsive but not intrusive. The carriage house is cozy and walkable to downtown without having to be in busy hotels. My daughter requests we stay here when we come to Moscow.
The Carriage House is a quiet, cozy, and comfortable stay for one or two. The accommodations are simple and basic - just right for our little getaway. The hosts communicated clearly and had everything ready for our arrival. If you need to steal away for a weekend or a few days of R&R, this is a great choice.
We had a phenomenal time staying at the Carriage House over WSUs move in weekend for our daughter. A great selection of reading books, a very fun and energetic Australian Shepherd and some awesome old trees in the yard. We will be staying here again in the future.
A nice, cozy and quant space. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Moscow (3/4 mile). Comfy bed and small high-top table and chairs for snacking. Would stay there again if I was ever back in Moscow
I seldom write reviews, but I had to take a moment to say what an excellent experience this was. This rental is a cozy little gem! There is a refrigerator and microwave, with a small selection of plates, glasses and utensils. But you are only a few blocks from Main Street if you want to walk down for meals. The bed is super comfortable, so beware of oversleeping! Best of all was the great communication and support from the hosts. They really make you feel at home.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the carriage cottage! Super clean and homey. Really appreciated the coffee/tea with real cream in the morning. The bed was super comfy and the shower was warm with great water pressure. Also loved the location being so close to downtown. We actually walked home one evening. It was our best experience in Moscow yet! Thank you so much!
Cutest little studio cabin, and youâd never even know it was there! The setting so honey and comfortable, and it really gives you a feel for the neighborhood and community- much better than a hotel could. While it feels secluded from town in a good way, it is still so conveniently close! We were able to walk to the downtown Saturday farmers market in about 10 minutes. Love this property, will most definitely visit again someday!
We have lived in Moscow, Idaho for nearly 20 years but recently moved into our dream house on Howard St. Craig is a Biology Professor at the University of Idaho and I work for The Nature Conservancy. We are a very busy family with 3 active young children so you probably won't see too much of us. We are available by phone if anything arises that needs immediate attention. We will respect your space and do our best to provide you a restful stay. However, our children love to play in the yard on the weekends and early evenings. We also have laying hens, a young dog, and loving cat on the property.
