We didn't have a long stay but it was a nice place. Clean, stocked with bottled water and coffee, comfy beds, warm and cozy. The hosts were kind and responsive. I'd stay again!
The house was very clean. It is an older somewhat dated house but very clean and well appointed with some updates. The house was cozy and cute. It is situated close to the main road and other houses but we always felt safe and road noise wasn't a big issue. It was perfect for our visit to the area. We would definitely stay here again!
Visiting family at Potlatch for a wedding. Was perfect for our little family. Clean, well supplied, comfy beds. Stocked up with groceries from grocery store in Potlatch and visited the Mennonite owned Tamarack Cafe for fresh baked pastries. Would definitely stay when visiting again!
We had a great stay there and if it wasn't for us knowing g the area a d expecting it the commute to town is a bit of a distance. That shouldn't stop anyone from staying there it's is clean and well kept.
We had a great stay at the Coffee Klatch Cottage. It was very clean and the perfect size for our small family. We appreciated the water bottles and coffee that was left out for us. The kitchen had all the items we needed and we were able to make some of our meals there instead of going out to eat for every meal. We didn't get a chance to try out the nearby cafe, but we'll do that another time! Thank you!
Rented this place for a week while dropping off our daughter. So much nicer to have a house instead of a room at a hotel. Enjoyed being able to make homemade meals and live as if we were at home. Overall had what we needed. Met the owner and he was very nice.
Had a great stay with our 2 dogs. Plenty of room for them and the fenced area was perfect.
The house had so much character and was cozy. Wonderful place to spend time!
A bit noisy (traffic) due to the location but quiet during the night. Comfy beds and a decent amount of kitchen gear for our purposes. I thought about offering to switch the door swing on the refrigerator - easy enough done - but didnât have the time. đ
I loved my time at this cottage. A bit off the beaten path but quiet, cozy, and near enough to Moscow/Pullman. I was so thankful to find such a lovely place that was also pet friendly!
This house was perfect for our stay! Located right off the highway and next to a great little cafe, the house is a convenient jump off point to enjoy all the Palouse has to offer. Our hosts were polite and responsive and the home was very clean. Would definitely return.
Very clean and cozy. About a 25-30 minute drive from WSU and a great alternative when Pullman is all booked out. Was nice to have a comfortable and quiet place to relax and cook a meal between events at WSU. Well stocked and comfortable for a group. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!
Small, but great for 2 to 4 people. Beds are very comfortable and the common areas are cozy. A little removed from Pullman but a fairly easy drive to Moscow and not bad to Pullman. Well provisioned in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom.
The diner adjacent to the house is convenient for breakfast and lunch and the quality of the food and the service are excellent.
Roomy yet cozy. Excellent wifi. Nice yard for our little dog. Well-equipped and clean. The bathroom was redone, and there were plenty of towels. Was surprised that we had to get damage insurance or provide a hefty deposit, but hadn't used VRBO for awhile.
Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your home. It was nice to have a place where we could all be together and it was a good value. There was a problem with the outlet in the bathroom. We couldn't use it.
This house was OK to stay at for the price and not too far from WSU. However, there was an abundance of flies in the house most of the weekend. Not sure where they were coming from. Also, had to figure out why the heaters would not come on. Not turned on at the circuit breaker box. This should not be something we have to do. Guess it was overlooked by caretaker?? I also think that it should be mentioned in the VRBO info that this property has well water. We would have brought water with us. Got there later on a Friday night so had to wait until next day to purchase some. Otherwise house was an OK stay.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
The Good: This is a great stay for a college family that wants an alternative to a hotel and a little more room. It is a small relaxing drive into Moscow (recommended route) for UI or WSU. There is a grocery store in town about half a mile away that has all the staples for your stay and eating. The house itself has been nicely cleaned and remodeled. It has that eclectic feel you expect from a small town rental. Having rentals I can appreciate the time and money invested in new floors and the bathroom.
The Bad: The location is right on the highway. I read reviews and knew this going in. It is a little difficult to pull into the driveway. Coming back from WSU you either make an illegal turn across a double yellow or make a funky loop 100 yards away. The light traffic accomodates for this. Once inside, during the summer,, the sound from the portable air conditioner and the fans drown out the traffic noise.
The Ugly: The internet speed is really slow and made it hard to watch TV because the TV kept cutting out. Netflix was about the only thing that worked because it adjusts for bandwidth. Phones and laptops seem to do OK when connected to WIFI. We are big foodies and planned on cooking several meals. Other than the new coffee pot and Keurig, the entire kitchen seemed like it was furnished from the free box at a local estate sale. It would be nice to have more than 1 usable pot and 1 pan. Also, no BBQ but both a quick cheap easy fix.
