We enjoyed our stay and the area was great. The only reason for three stars is due to communication. We checked in around 5:00 on a Saturday afternoon. We had no power in the living room and called the emergency maintenance line (which was a cell phone) a number of times and received no return calls. We left five different messages, emailed the property manager, and the office staff and no one got back with us until the next morning. Once the property manager did get back with us she was quick to find someone to repair the issue, but we were without power from 5:00pm Saturday until 12:00 pm Sunday, which was very frustrating. When I asked why maintenance never returned our calls all she said was "I'm not sure.". All in all it was a great trip, but communication could be better.
The condo was very nice and well stocked. We came in on Tuesday learning that they were going to evacuate. I called mgmt to see what to do and In the meantime, learned it was voluntary. I called mgmt back to let them know we decided to ride out the storm. We also did not have a parking pass which stated in the agreement you would be charged $50. I never heard from management once. The kitchen sink was leaking so I called Maintenance. Never heard from them either. Very disappointed.
Enjoyed this St. Augustine location. Crescent Beach had beautiful sand and non-touristy. Our condo was clean and a view of the beach with everything needed. I would visit again.
We really enjoyed staying at this property this summer! The proximity to the beach, St. Augustine, and the coastal waterway made this a great spot. The pool was great! Everything was well-maintained and we had no issues the whole week.
The Crescent Sandpiper is located on beautiful Crescent Beach, Anastasia Island. The unique shape of the complex allows views of the ocean from every condo. A few steps from the sparkling pool and you're on Florida's white sandy beach!
