Écoutez les vagues de l'océan se retourner contre le rivage dans cette belle maison de plage au bord de l'océan. Située dans la communauté calme et sereine de Belle River, à l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard, cette maison de vacances spacieuse, lumineuse et bien aménagée attend votre arrivée.

Il offre des espaces de vie lumineux et spacieux, 150 pieds de façade sur l'océan, et est situé sur 2 hectares de pelouse bien entretenue, offrant beaucoup d'espace pour les jeux en plein air pour les enfants et les adultes.

La plage de sable tranquille est à quelques pas du pont de la maison de plage, avec de vastes bancs de sable durs à marée basse, parfait pour creuser des palourdes, construire des châteaux de sable, peigner la plage ou simplement une promenade relaxante.

La cuisine, la salle à manger, le salon et la chambre principale offrent 16 pieds de superbes baies vitrées, parfaites pour repérer les phoques et regarder les oiseaux côtiers plonger pour une nouvelle capture. Les vues de la maison de plage sont remplies d'une toile de fond en constante évolution de la mer et du ciel - eau pétillante, magnifiques couchers de soleil, ciel étoilé et vagues océaniques au clair de lune.

À la fin de la journée, rampez dans votre literie blanche rêveuse et laissez les sons océaniques rythmés et la douce brise marine vous endormir.

Great location on the Northumberland Strait. House has everything you need. Quiet spot for rest and relaxation. 45 minutes to Charlottetown (Gahan House for lunch or dinner), 30 minutes or less to 4 lighthouses, and just 15 minutes to Belfast Tulips (tulips bloom mid-May to early June) and an excellent bakery called Country Taste (breakfast or lunch).

Lovely beach house

Very well equipped house that has everything (and more) that you need for a beach stay. The kids loved beach-combing & clamming out the front door & spent hours at the Broken Rock Fossil Shop. Even though we visited outside the summer season we found lots to do on the East Coast.

Amazing and beautiful!

This was such a wonderful stay. What a beautiful home and location with a lovely quiet beach. The kids had a blast exploring the sand and rocks and hunting for clams. The house is clean and inviting and the owners had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Short drive to lighthouses and restaurants and anything else you would need. 10/10 recommend staying here and we will hopefully be back in the future.

Sunshine beach house was more than we could have imagined! The location, the decorating, the amenities available in the home were outstanding. I loved waking up looking out at the ocean. It was a wonderful haven to return to after the few day trips we went on. Walking on the sandbars was so relaxing. We cannot wait to return!!

You could not find a more perfect vacation spot than Sunshine beach house. Lovely vacation spot!

Beautiful location! We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and enjoyed relaxing both inside and outside this seaside cottage. It is very well equipped and the hosts are very welcoming. We’re hoping to return again next year! Plus, you need to try out MacDonald’s Bakery in Montague - so many delicious treats to pick from!! Enjoy!!

Perfect Getaway

The house was immaculate and decorated so beautifully. The kitchen had everything we needed for when we wanted to cook. My roots and heart are in Prince Edward Island. My grandfather was Angus Murchison, the keeper of the famous Point Prim lighthouse, just 20 min away from Sunshine Beach House. I spent my summers on the South Shore of PEI, exploring the beaches and countryside with my family, friends and cousins. As an adult, I had the privilege of duplicating this experience with my husband, Jerry, our four children, and two grandchildren. The South Shore of Prince Edward Island is now part of all of our hearts. The magic and adventure of these red sandy shores at once enlivens and calms our souls. The people here are genuine, funny, and kind. Simply put, it's my favourite place to be, and my favourite thing to do is to share it with others.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased our family cottage just a few cottages down from Sunshine Beach House back in 2009. We love the area so much, that we jumped at the chance to purchase Sunshine, when it hit the market in the spring of 2018. Already owning a cottage in this community, my husband, Jerry, and I have loved meeting people over the years who visit and rent cottages in our area. It is nothing short of a dream come true to have a second beach house that we can now both enjoy ourselves and also share with travellers visiting the Island. Jerry and I cannot wait to meet new vacationers and do everything we can to make their stay one that's full of wonderful memories and beautiful PEI experiences.

Sunshine Beach House is set in a quiet, serene community. In the peak of the summer, you can count the number of other people you see on the beach with one hand, if you see any at all. If you are looking for parks and attractions to visit, there are many on the Island, and most are just a nice scenic drive away. In our area, we are blessed with our gorgeous shores, red cliffs, expansive farm fields, and country side that is dotted with classic farm houses, barns, horses, cows, sheep, and flower gardens, not to mention the magnificent wild lupins that line the roadways all over the Island in the month of June. Everywhere you turn, it seems, is a photo opportunity. There are lovely restaurants, wineries, mini mills, country stores, gift shops, farmers markets, and lovely harbour towns all within a 20 minute drive of Sunshine Beach House. Sunshine is definitely the place to be, if you want to step out for a little adventure and then return home to utter peace and tranquility.
