Au-dessus des livres se trouve un bel appartement de 2 chambres spacieux et somptueusement aménagé. Situé à un pâté de maisons de l'arrêt de bus Village Green et NYC, et à quelques pas des superbes restaurants, boutiques d'art et attractions de Woodstock, il n'y a absolument pas besoin de voiture (mais beaucoup d'espace de stationnement hors rue si vous en apportez une).

Marchez jusqu'à l'un des nombreux superbes restaurants de Woodstock ou des points chauds de fin de soirée. Assistez à un concert au Colony Cafe, à une représentation au Woodstock Playhouse ou à un film indépendant au Tinker Street Cinema - tous à quelques pâtés de maisons. Parcourez les sentiers naturels à proximité dans le parc Comeau de Woodstock ou plongez dans le ruisseau Mill. This is probably my favorite stay, ever. The place just felt like home, spacious and thoughtfully arranged. Right in the center of town but quiet at night, sitting on the deck in the morning was a treat.

The property was exactly as advertised! It was neat and clean and extremely well-organized.The property is right in downtown Woodstock near shops and restaurants. Above the Books has to be the best place to stay in Woodstock. Our hosts, Jeff and Audrey were wonderful. They were accommodating, informative, and just great to talk to. The unit was well furnished and very comfortable. Best of all was the location, within walking distance of everything. And private parking. We're already making plans to go back.

Excellent all around. We booked this space for visiting friends and it will now be our first choice for any other guests. Communication was warm, friendly, and helpful. We rented the apartment because we needed two bedrooms and a deck. We couldnt use the second bedroom because the air-conditioning didnt work. It was a 100 degrees in there so I had to sleep on the couch. Then to top it all off the deck was covered in moss so it was a safety hazard to go out there. The apartment definitely needs a good cleaning. I lost my pen under the couch and I ended up with a handful of potato chips, tissue and dust. Very disappointing stay.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at Above the Books. It’s close to all restaurants and shops, right in the middle of town. The apartment is spacious, with a deck and the kitchen has everything you need. Jeff and Audrey are excellent hosts. We will definitely be back.

Memorial Day Getaway

This is the third or fourth time I stayed at Above the Books. That should say it all. I love the location on the apartment... smack in town. The apartment is warm and cozy . Except for one slip up with the window, everything else was easy. I love the fact that the owners are right downstairs during the day. I will stay again.

Magical weekend

I can't say enough about how wonderful this vrbo is. It is conveniently located, extremely well appointed, and truly felt like a home away from home. Everything was exactly as described, immaculate, and peaceful. The attention to detail and anticipated needs was so appreciated. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. Above The Books was perfect for us.

Spent the weekend in Woodstock and this place fit our needs perfectly. The space is cool and unique, the book shop is great. Jeff was a communicative and welcoming host. Perfect location to explore town and the surrounding area. Will be back as soon as I am able.

Wonderful Bachelorette Getaway

Such a wonderful stay. Took my best friend away for a weekend in Woodstock NY for her bachelorette. She wanted a zen, quiet getaway with friends, that is exactly what she got, she loved it!! Had lots of plans but ended up staying in most of the weekend and it was sooo wonderful and relaxing. They also have a book store down stairs and had a Tarot Card reader while we were there, she was amazing! Would definitely love to go back again. Awesome place and awesome hosts! Wonderful Stay (3rd time)

This is my third time staying at “Above the Books”. We always have a lovely and relaxing stay and the hosts are very responsive. The apartment is clean and cozy and located in the heart of Woodstock where you can walk to all of the restaurants and shops. My wife and I try to play a yearly trip to Woodstock and have found the perfect place to stay :)

Wonderful Woodstock Getaway

From the moment we met owners Jeff and Audrey in their adorable store below the rental I knew this would be a special place. Located in central Woodstock near everything, this home is cozy and well appointed. The perfect size for the three of us with one huge bedroom and one smaller, a full kitchen and lovely living room. There is a special feeling and we hated to leave. The owners couldn’t be nicer and they thought of everything. The coffee was amazing and we will definitely be back.

Hi. Our names are Jeff Cuiule and Audrey Cusson. In 2000, we left our lives and careers in NYC to purchase legendary Mirabai Books in Woodstock, NY -- a shop dedicated to Personal Growth, Eastern Philosophy, Metaphysics and Healing, an oasis of spiritual solace for more than 30 years.
