Bienvenue dans une propriété de 4 chambres au bord du lac avec une terrasse à deux niveaux et un grand plan d'étage ouvert pour de nombreux espaces sociaux. Facile d'accÚs par la route et l'une des meilleures grandes criques du lac. Un beau quai pour aménager ou nager en eau profonde. Apportez votre bateau et attachez-le au quai. Deux chambres ont des lits queen et deux chambres ont des lits king. Dort jusqu'à huit. Salon avec TV 60 ". Salle familiale au sous-sol avec télévision.

FamilyThanksgiving Retreat

clean and fully equipped is not enough superlatives for this immaculate property. Literally everything a family could need to cook and serve a Thanksgiving meal, plenty of space and activity for three generations.

Plenty of room and bedding for family of 8

House was very clean, very updated and everything was in great condition. White linen on the bed, TV’s with wifi in most rooms and plenty of space right on the lake. Will rent here again next year

Poker 8 Over 60 Club

This beautiful property exceeded our expectations! Beautiful home with ALL the amenities at your fingertips! The home sits in one of the fingers/canals of Lake Egypt. The boat dock was a plus because we rented a pontoon boat from Macke's (which we highly recommend) and we used the dock for loading and unloading the people, coolers and etc. The house has two nice outside patios with tables and chairs to enjoy the view and boat traffic. We loved the open floor plan of the kitchen/dining and living room. The kitchen has a big square table that seats 8 and a island that seated 6. The table worked great for eating and playing poker. We were celebrating two 60th Birthdays (technically not until the fall)! Four couples and everyone had their own spacious bedroom. The neighbors on the right side from Columbia, IL were a lot of fun! It turns out they knew/work with people from Clinton County. We will definitely keep this place in mind for the future. Also, the owners Erik, John & Lois were great to work with!

Excellent vacation home

There aren't enough stars to rate this home!!! Everything was as stated in listing. It did have EVERYTHING you'd need. Construction was ongoing next door but really didn't bother us at all. Area breathtaking and quiet. Can't wait to go again. LOVED IT!!!!

Wonderful!

We spent 5 days at this property. It was just as described. Super clean and has everything you could possibly want. The kitchen is very spacious and has every utensil you could possibly want. The location of the house is close to the open area for skiing and tubing. Swimming off the dock was a hit with our 4 kiddos. We will definitely return to this beautiful home. There is a house being built right next door but it was not a big deal as we spent most of our time out on the lake. Thank you for taking such great care of your property and sharing it with other!

Great house

Very clean and well taken care of. The next door construction noise was brutal at 5am every morning but that will end once the house next door is complete. Highly recommended!

Perfect Getaway!!!

This house was amazing - definitely the cleanest home we have rented - impeccable. The kitchen was also the most well stocked kitchen - we brought things with us we didn't need as we aren't used to the kitchen having everything you could ever want! The lake views are great, the home is incredibly comfortable. It was a perfect, relaxing getaway!

Great family trip!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and had 5 star hotel quality sheets and towels! We stayed there with 2 two years olds and they had a great time, although you may want to bring some baby gates! We would definitely stay again!

Clean and well thought out

We enjoyed our few days here. The place was very clean and had all that we needed. The only drawback was that the internet connection was not really good, so it was hard to try and get any work done or stream a show.

Beautiful Property!!!!

This home has everything you need to make wonderful memories!! From the outside decks and dock to the inside fully stocked with everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. Mack’s marina is a great place to rent a pontoon for a day of fishing!! Thanks for sharing your lake house...we’ll be back for sure!!!

Fabulous house on the lake!

We really enjoyed the house. It was clean, and the outdoor space was amazing. We had a really great stay. The owners were very responsive and they made us feel welcome. We would absolutely stay here again.

My daughter was getting married and since many of the bridesmaids were from out of town I choose to rent this house instead of having everyone scattered about in different hotels. Everything was perfect, from the soft music playing to the cookies upon our arrival. (The card you left was so sweet) This home has everything you would ever need and then some. Having three bedrooms down stairs was perfect for our crowd. All the girls could be together the night before and then we turned the dining table into our beauty salon in the morning. Erik was wonderful, even when I had to text him at 11 pm when the power suddenly went out all over the lake. He offered to bring over a generator. Luckily it was only out for a couple hours and we all enjoyed sitting on the deck wrapped in blankets drinking wine by lantern light. Such fun and special memories for all of the bridal party. Need a sewing kit? Got it. Forgot your shampoo? No worries here. The only thing I can possibly thick of that we could have used was a patio heater and there may be one that we just didn't find. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home. We are already thinking about a longer stay next summer. Gretchen B

Wonderful!

House was beautiful and spacious. Perfect for a family getaway. Wonderful kitchen with a large island for cooking meals together. The deck is an absolute dream for relaxing. Arrived to cookies and a bottle of wine - what a sweet touch. Highly recommend a weekend (or more!) at Skipping Stone.
