[10 beds total. 3 Queen, 5 person bunk bed & additional sleeping: 2 twin couch beds (basement).
Deep water. LOW WAKE cove off of main channel/skiing area. Exceptional for fishing and SAFE for swimming. Bring your boat or rent one and tie up at our dock. Enjoy our 2 splash pads & 2 kayaks. Relax by fire pit. Washer/Dryer.
Free Wifi, Small, Charcoal Grill, 2 car-Garage, 2 Flat Screen TV's/DVD/Blu-ray player, Fully stocked (just bring food and toiletries), recently renovated, BRAND new beds, linens, towels & blankets.

Our family had a great time together at this lake house. Awesome quiet location. The house had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the kayaks. Fire pit was great also. Great hiking spots a few minutes away at Fern Cliff State Park.

Long weekend in Shawnee

Great house, private location on Lake of Egypt. Beautiful setting. Very spacious, very clean. Host was very accommodating and very responsive. Great communications. All in all a good value. Just wish we had caught more fish....;)

Better than the listing!

This location was so much better than we expected from the listing! The view of the lake was stunning, the house looked like a new Reno, and they even supplied the things you often forget to bring along. We truly loved our stay, and will likely do it again!

Beautiful home, excellent stay

This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed here. After the first time, we knew we wanted to go back. The home is clean and very spacious and was able to accommodate our large family without feeling like we were in top of each other. We love the swimming area and enjoyed our time in the water and fishing from the dock. Highly recommend!

From the second that we booked the stay, Laura was more than happy to help with anything that we needed. She was prompt and professional with all communication. The property has a priceless view, and it is in a great location. We had a great stay, and we sincerely appreciate Laura and her hospitality.

Everything was a 10. Beautiful. Great location. Only issue for us was the walk way down to the docks. Atleast 3 of us fell. Many holes and broken concrete. We hope to rent again next yead.

Girls Retreat

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lake house. We had a great time and enjoyed the down time from the hussle and bussle of our normal lives. We hiked, played games, told stories, made all of our meals and had many laughs. Once again, thank you for allowing us to use your home for our girls retreat.

Lake house memories

We stayed for a week to visit family nearby and fell in love with this lake house! Laura was a great host and answered all of our questions. House had everything we needed to entertain the kids. Plenty of things to do in the area outdoors and about half hour away you’re in the city. Rented a pontoon boat that was delivered to dock and took the boys out for ice cream on the lake. Just an amazing time all around.

Had an issue this year with the right boat slip where it previously had a lift. On the right side it had a piece of metal that did significant damage to the boat, scratching and gouging the side. High water at the beginning of the week did not help and probably contributed to the problem.Strongly suggest removing the metal from the side of the dock and block off immediately.

Great place right on the lake! Inside was super clean and more than enough room for our girls trip of 5 friends . We floated on rafts at the dock and had a very relaxing weekend of catching up!

Lake of Egypt Pontoon Boat Rentals, Mack's Marina & Egyptian Hills Marina have boat rentals. You can launch your boat & tie up to our dock.

Beautiful lake views, as we are right off the main channel/skiing area. You will be able to see lots of boats, jet-skis, etc. Great, DEEP water.

Absolutely NO pets of any kind are allowed. If evidence of pet, you will be charged $300 for additional cleaning fee.

We do require a $100 Damage Deposit. This will be returned to you immediately upon our cleaning team reporting no damage, no excess cleaning, and no excess trash.
