Un mur de deux étages en verre offre une vue imprenable de l'eau et divise la grande salle de ce bien nommé Cap contemporain de sa plate-forme de 25 pieds. Niché à flanc de colline de pins et entouré de jardins de plantes vivaces méticuleusement entretenus, cette maison est la définition de la paix et de tranquillité. Le warm Bay Beach-côté est à quelques pas, de même que le lancement de votre bateau ou en kayak. Les falaises de l'océan sont à cinq minutes en vélo. Et le charmant village de Wellfleet, plein la vue galeries et restaurants, est à cinq minutes en voiture. Restez à la maison pour cuisiner, la cuisine est entièrement équipée et le gril à gaz est excellent. Faites une sieste, les lits sont incroyablement confortables et le hamac est dans l'ombre. Allumez un feu si la nuit est fraîche, et de prendre un bain à remous. Regarder la lumière toujours changeante que le soleil se couche, puis regarder les étoiles dans le ciel clair de cristal.

A Great Get-Away

Love Wellfleet, this place is a great place to go! Owners are very nice and there is plenty of room for a family. Love the deck and the view.

Wonderful house in great location

This was our second time staying at this Welflert house. It was comfortable and clean, in quiet neighborhood well stocked with beach and kitchen supplies. Beautiful view off deck. Host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for another great year! We hope to return.

Wonderful Wellfleet stay

We had a wonderful stay at this Wellfleet house. The house is located in the lovely quiet neighborhood, short drive to the downtown and beaches, very convenient. Loved the view of Drummer’s Cove from the deck. Dan is a great host, was willing to answer any questions about the property, even though I didn’t really have much. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

These folks were wonderful guests. I usually am around when tenants arrive so go over the house and answer any questions that they may have. Anna and her party arrived late so I wasn’t there to do so. They figured everything out on their own with no non-stop emails after setting in. Very low maintenance guests, left well before the check out time and left the house in excellent condition. Would happily rent to them again. Definitely have them as tenants. You should too.

Sweet spot in Wellfleet

This house in South Wellfleet is large and comfortable, with a pretty view of the cove from the living room and spacious deck. The kitchen has been updated since the house was built a few decades ago, and it is extremely well equipped. Dan welcomed us warmly and had wine and snacks ready to enjoy after check in. Highly recommend.

Relaxing, luxurious, and, comfortable stay

We had the most relaxing stay at this well appointed home. Our hosts were most gracious, accommodating to our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The amenities available were plentiful including a complimentary bottle of wine upon our arrival, kitchen staples, fab view of the bay, and comfortable deck and furniture gave us many days of rest, fun, and some home cooked meals amidst our hikes, swims, art, and music activities.

Perfect!

Fantastic house, great location, absolutely lovely host. The wine and cheese on arrival was so welcoming after a long drive. The kitchen was better stocked than any rental I’ve ever been in. The living spaces were very comfortable, the outdoor spaces were lovely, tons of seating. Wish we could have stayed twice as long!!

Great base for family reunion

The property is well located for all lower Cape attractions, including Ocean, Bay, and pond beaches. Quiet, wooded neighborhood. House very well furnished, especially the large kitchen and deck. Owner very friendly, informative, and responsive. Perfect for my immediate family and for entertaining a larger family group.

A great find!

This is a lovely home in our favorite Wellfleet neighborhood and we enjoyed a wonderful stay. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, the furnishings are very comfortable, the gardens are beautiful, and the view of the bay is picture perfect. Dan worked diligently to resolve a plumbing issue that arose just before we arrived and all communications were prompt and thorough. We hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Beautiful Wellfleet!

We have stayed on the Cape many times but never in this area. It is our new favorite place. This home was located perfectly and met all our needs. The owners were very hospitable and accommodating and it was a lovely week. You know it’s perfect when the 9 year old boy cries because he wanted to stay and find more hermit crabs and go back to Marconi beach. Thanks so much!

This beautiful open concept home was the perfect spot to hang our sun hats after a day of enjoying all the nearby local beaches, ponds, and National Seashore. Close enough to town to grab essentials, and in a quiet neighborhood with its own little beach to enjoy evening walks on. Check-in and check-out was easy breezy, just like the vibes of the Cape. The house has a fully stocked kitchen. The owners have thought of everything you will need to make a simple or gourmet meal. Communication was exceptional and we were made to feel right at home. The outdoor deck was a huge bonus with a beautiful view. We will most definitely be back.

Wish we had stayed longer!

Our host provided exceptional service and many thoughtful details to make our stay go smoothly and enjoyably. The house is well appointed and in a great location, very peaceful with natural beauty surrounding the premises and wonderful views. All the amenities worked well and met all our needs as a group. The beds are comfortable and in good shape—noted since some Cape rentals have issues with subpar bedding. The kitchen, living room, and porch areas were great. Highly recommended!

Very nice place to stay. Plenty of space for the 2 couples. Wonderful kitchen well stocked, bright living room/dining room space. Great deck. Upstairs bedroom, bathroom, and nook especially comfortable. Downstairs bedrooms just fine. Could not have asked for a better host, good communication. Easy access once arrived. We were there the beginning of the off season- it was quiet enough, with the folks in the few nearby homes not making much noise. Quick drive to Wellfleet, Marconi Beach, Long Pond, bike trail, French bakery. We would definitely want to return. Nicest place we’ve stayed on the Cape.

Lovely, but not the best for rambunctious toddlers.

A charming home that we would love to stay in again—with other adults, or kids old enough to explore without constant supervision. Without asking more questions about accessibility, we brought a seventeen month old who acted his age, particularly when he discovered the microwave at his level! The kitchen is so generously stocked that I would have loved to have cooked in every nite. Instead, we took advantage of local restaurants. Another grandchild is due this summer so we won’t be able to opt for our Wellfleet house anytime soon. Feeling a little wistful.

Hi, I know that this response is very late. I must admit that while I think that I am pretty good at managing the house, and being responsive to renter requests and concerns, I’m still not on top of managing the VRBO website when it comes to follow-up. Especially during the busy season. I actually have great difficulty navigating the site, but happily, I’ve managed to learn how to accept rental requests😊. Not knowing the website, I don’t think that this response will show up on VRBO, but that is not its purpose. So I’m sorry that the house missed the mark for your particular needs. Had you told me, I would have done my best to baby proof the house. Yes, while the house would not have been as impressive when you first arrived, I could have removed the orchids, the candle sticks, fireplace tools, jars of sea glass, and other miscellaneous decorative items to better accommodate your needs. If you decide to visit again, let me know in advance and I’ll take care of it. FYI, my niece, her husband and their 15 month old toddler quarantined most of 2020 with us during the Covid pandemic so they weren’t stuck in Brooklyn, so I understand making the house safe for toddlers. From your review, it sounds like you would like to return because you liked the house. If you choose to return, simply let me know your needs. You know that I greet our guests when they arrive, so we can fine tune anything that you need done to make it safe for your family at that point. In spite of the shortcomings, I hope that you enjoyed your stay. Dan

Our second stay, this delightful. property is attentively managed by Joe and Dan and offers a lovely off-the-planet place to relax while only being steps from the tidal footpaths, small beaches and delightful kayaking of Blackfish Creek.

Amazing week in Wellfleet

We have been renting on Cape for over 25 years and this home was the nicest by far. Beautifully appointed, new state of art kitchen and comfortable bedrooms, tons of light and great location. Lived the neighborhood on bayside. Not a swimming beach but miles of trails along water and in nature preserve just a few minutes walk from house. Also easy to pop into town just a few minutes away. Beautiful view off deck. We were all very sad to leave. Thanks Dan & Joe! Your home was lovely. Can’t wait to return to Wellfleet!

Great property within minutes of several ocean coast beaches.

Nice quiet neighborhood with great amenities. Close to Drummers Cove for late evening walks. Within five minute drive of ocean coast beaches which require beach sticker or daily pass. Wellfleet is loaded with restaurants. Recommend Mac's for lunch. Dan (property caretaker) was very helpful and knowledgeable of area. Would recommend for family vacations upto six. If booking during peak summer, be prepared for traffic but Wellfleet is easy to get around. Recommend day trip to Provincetown. Well worth it.

Minus a few hiccups, the house was as described. Over all a very nice space for a small group. The view off the deck was one of the highlights. Joseph the owner was especially helpful before and during our stay and was always very communicative if I ever had any questions.

Great location, great house, great view of the water from the deck.

We had a great holiday as the accommodations in the house were great. The layout of one bedroom upstairs with a sitting room outside was great and two bedrooms on the first floor. Great deck and view of the water. Loved the outdoor shower and the remodeled kitchen. Top notch!
