The property was nice, we like some white noise to sleep, so we were quite delighted to find a box fan in the bedroom closet, the mattress was comfortable, though having fuller pillows would have been nice, but overall a nice place. The thermostat seemed to be malfunctioning somewhat as it was getting really warm even if you set the thermostat at 50-degrees ( in winter) but Iâm sure itâs something they will address before too long, just opened a window and slept really well.
My family loved our time at this condo during our stay in Keystone. My wife, two young children, and myself loved this property. The beds were comfy, the location to the village was awesome, but the best part were the views! My three year old son loved watching the snowfall through the large windows, my five year old daughter enjoyed watching the skiers come down their runs, and my wife and I loved looking at the scenic views of the snow covered trees and mountains.
This is the place to stay if you want a visit to Keystone and be located near the River Run Village. Just a short walk to everything you could possibly need.
The fireplace didnât work. When I brought this up to the owner he never responded. The was a couple floors heaters that where broken as well. All of the dishes were mismatched and from random events. For the location and the cost I would expect a little care to detail.
First of all, the location is hard to beat. Super close to River Run Village, easy access to the mountain, free parking. The apartment itself is nice and has comfortable beds and the apartment was mostly clean and spacious enough for our family of 3. There are a lot of hooks and places to hang coats, gloves, etc. and the views of the mountain are unbeatable. Also the free shuttles to get around the mountain are located across the street which was another bonus.
Now for some issues:
1) Communication with the owner wasn't great. I tried asking if we could check in early and never got a response. Further communication was OK I guess, perfunctory but not great.
2) The pots and pans that were put away were all dirty and covered in burnt on food. I had to scrub the pans we used for a while to get them clean.
3) The tub stopper did not work so the tub would not fill with water. Not a huge deal to some, but when trying to give your 4 year old a bath, it would have been nice.
4) The smoke detector is dangling from the ceiling and not properly attached.
5) There was a hole in the wall from where the front door handle hits it and a small hole above the baseboards between the bathrooms.
Overall though, none of these were "deal-breakers" individually or in total. It still was a nice place to stay and suited our needs for a quick snowboarding trip.
We enjoyed our stay very much. This condo is lovely and has the most beautiful views. It was more than adequate for the two of us. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. It can be a bit sunny inside for a few evening hours, but the views are worth the short inconvenience. Close to lovely walking trails. We were so happy to be in a small, quiet area but be a short drive to tons of options for food and hiking. We hope to be back one day!
Spider webs throughout! For that much money the least you can do is clean it properly. Bed sheets smelled too. And itâs not a 5 minute walk to gondola. I would never stay there again or recommend to anyone
On Oct. 6th, we decided to take a last minute road trip to Colorado, Oct. 7-12th. We planned to leave midday on the 7th, but would arrive early morning on the 8th due to the drive time. VRBO would only allow me to book this property for the 8-12th.
During the (very) early morning hours on Oct. 7th, I reached out to the property owner to inquire about booking an extra day (the website would not allow me to book for the7th, but looked different than when showing unavailable dates) or check in early on the 8th. We were more than willing to pay for an extra day, or even whatever fee necessary, since we were renting a place to stay.
I understand my lack of planning is not someone else's emergency, but I got no response to either of the messages I sent to the owner. A simple no or reply saying the property is unavailable would've sufficed; we would've understood. Again, I am aware my lack of planning is not someone else's emergency. A response of any kind would've been nice.
Once in Colorado, we found a hotel nearby to sleep a few hours, wasted time until we were able to check in to the condo. Upon arrival, I was a little bit taken aback. No fault of the owner's, but there was trash strewn all throughout the parking lot. The building is old and certainly needs a cleaning, inside and out.
Inside of the condo was initially impressive until we started getting situated. I found long, dark hair on three of
I would like to say we enjoyed this property, but unfortunately we did not.
I canât say enough about the location of this property , absolutely amazing . The proximity of the condo to the pond as well as the river was idyllic , incredibly peaceful , love, love , love
I can't say enough positive things about this property! The beautiful views, cleanliness and convenient location were all major perks and reasons I would book it again for our next trip to Keystone!
The host was easy to work with and accommodated a last-minute change to our itinerary. The views are outstanding. The condo itself could use some updating, for example: the drywall has a few chips and could use fresh paint, the radiator in the living room has a broken temperature knob but wasn't really needed with the fireplace, the radiator in front bathroom smells terrible when running, the coffee maker could use replacement-the carafe lid doesn't touch the filter bottom so can't sneak a cup, shower in front bathroom/tub not really usable - shower head seems plugged (but other shower was fine). Would have loved more comfortable living room furniture to lounge on (the sofa was fine but the 2 chairs weren't comfortable to us). Beds were super comfy! All in all we enjoyed our stay, Keystone is a great area to visit!
Just needed to get away and relax. The hire from the condo couldn't have been better. The condo was super nice inside. Simple, clean, and modern. Easy in and out. Super!
The views were great. Two bedrooms and bathrooms made it perfect for two couples. Neither of us had to fight for the better room since theyâre both similar.
This space was just what we were looking for. A beautiful view of the mountains and close to the outdoor activities Keystone has to offer during the summer.
This place is better than the pictures show. You are literally 100 yds from the mountain out your back deck. Waking up to that view never disappointed. This place is a gem. It's small and quaint in all the right ways. You have views not only from the back but sides giving even better viewing experiences. Finally, the location couldn't be better. You are a two minute walk from the Gandolas, the town center for all you eating delights and a small grocery store for any items you want to have around the place. Can't say enough about this wonderful spot.
The property was a good location, we came to town to enjoy the festival in the Keystone Village. Rooms, bathrooms and a everything else was a comfy environment, and our favorite part was the balcony view of the Keystone mountain and pond. Our only concern was the balcony lock, it seems to be faulty and we want to ensure future guests and property manager have a secure lock for safety reasons. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, and I recommend to anybody wanting a good condo in the Keystone area! Thank you!
The view from the back porch were amazing! Beds were very comfortable and the place was clean and very spacious for our family of three. River Run Village is a short walk away. Was a wonderful place to walk along the river. Visited during mud season and not many stores were open, but it was peaceful and relaxing.
Overall, the property was light, bright and convenient. It fit our family of 5 pretty well. Probably one of the best views Iâve ever had staying in Keystone. We had a little bit of a walk to the village, but not too bad. The unit itself is on the corner w/ huge windows and no blinds - so it was HOT - we turned all the heaters off and ran the 3 floor fans they had! Water pressure in the showers need work and the strange washer/dryer combo unit was complicated - would be great to leave some basic instructions - like if you just want to dry your bath towels for the next use - couldnât figure that out. Oh, and no hot tub at this building - bummer. But, again, overall, itâs a nice unit w/ a beautiful view.
This property was perfect for what we were looking for on this trip. We could easily walk to River Run Village. We really enjoyed being able to watch the skiers from the couch when we were in the room. The property had free parking which was great for a few of our trips into Dillon and Breck for dinners. Also, it was really convenient to have a kitchen so we could make our own breakfasts and snacks through the day. We would definitely stay again!
