The VRBO listing, the emailed details from host and the in condo printed instructions had some differences between them. We focused on the in condo instructions and missed some things in the email. We did not get responses from calling or texting the number listed as one to call for needs. In some of the instructions it seemed clear to only call host for emergencies. So we did not call their number with our issues. When we got there late, the top bunk bed rail was cracked so we were not comfortable using top bunk. Rearranged and used that mattress on a fold up bed frame they had in a closet . Some items were labeled only owner use and we did not touch those. Honestly we didnât really look back at listing to know the sofa was a sleeper or we would have used that. I did email owner last day of trip to give summary. We wanted to make sure she knew about the railing and a couple of other broken things that were not our doing. I had left message and texts to the primary number given about these items by second day however with no answers. Owner seemed very upset with us but I explained situation. Thought we resolved it but still gave us a poor rating . I believe because we used bunk mattress and folding frame which we put back, the owner rated us low for moving things. We are 5 star renters. Never problems. The unit was clean and otherwise comfortable. We followed checkout list-took the trash out, started dishwasher, left towels as instructed. Donât understand low rating.
