L'appartement est situé dans le paisible hameau perché de Podere Ampella, qui se compose de 8 autres appartements villas restaurés et d'une piscine commune.

Situé dans la province de Sienne, Ampella La Torre est à 43 km de Sienne et est parfait pour explorer les villes montagneuses historiques à proximité. Au cœur de la région viticole, Ampella La Torre est à une courte distance en voiture des vignobles entourant Montalcino et Montepulciano.

Maison avec une vue époustouflante…Belles prestations, la cuisine super bien équipée, climatisation à tous les étages. Super piscine. On se sent comme « à la maison ». Naomi est de bons conseils et très réactive. Je recommande vivement cette location qui vous permet de visiter cette belle région et de rentrer le soir dans ce cocon de sérénité :-)

Vi hadde en super uke. Koselig hus med fin beliggenhet, fint uteområde med flott utsikt og fantastiske solnedganger. Soverommet i tårnrommet var litt lyst (ingen solskjerming) og ble litt varmt å sove på, men ellers helt supert.

We recently stayed at Villa Ampella la Torre and have nothing but great things to say. The communication with both the owners and the caretaker before, during and after our visit was exceptional - particularly their care, attention, and advice they gave on visiting local attractions and booking a private chef through the Tuscan Chef (highly recommended). The house is beautifully decorated, new, clean, spacious and well equipped, and the pool there is amazing. While we had a couple of issues with the AC and water supply, these were immediately addressed (despite us saying there was nothing urgent). Their caretaker is so lovely and went out of her way to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The only reason we did not rate the location as excellent is due to the distance from other amenities (e.g., groceries, restaurants, etc.), but the property is beautiful and the views are stunning. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope we have the opportunity to return one day. Sincere thanks to our hosts and Jirina for making this an unforgettable vacation. Grazie mille!

Great villa in Tuscany

We went with our granddaughter (2 years) and my son and girlfriend. The villa was in a great location in Tuscany if you want to be in the southern section. The villa is large, great for groups and has a lovely patio outlook. The dining living area has several French doors that open out to the patio/garden. There was one issue I raised with the owner regarding reliability of water pressure which I hope they addressed. The ‘host’ was super responsive. I’d stay again.

Lovely property quiet and spacious. Well appointed and handy to all little villages. Very helpful caretaker who helped us with a few problems we had with our car rental after we blew a tyre. We found out there were no local taxi services and Jo suggested places we could try.

Magical stay in Tuscany

Our family loved this wonderful and well located property. Naomi is an excellent host and we received a warm welcome from Jo. Communication before and during our stay was excellent, including many wonderful recommendations that we took advantage of. The home is well appointed and spacious. It was perfect for our family, including our two kids. They loved the pool and we loved relaxing on the patio. The home is lovely and the photos don’t do the incredible view justice. We would have loved to stay longer and will remember our week forever. If you are looking for a home base in Tuscany to explore, this is it.

Fabulous holiday

We spent a week at the end of July in this beautiful property. The communication before we travelled to Italy was great and when we arrived there was a local gentleman, Joe , on hand to answer any queries, sort any problem and even booked a restaurant for us as our Italian is very limited. The house was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. There was a helpful information book containing suggestions of what to see, where to eat, local grocery stores etc.The outdoor space was great with a large table and chairs, a BBQ and two loungers. Despite there being a few other properties on the site there was no noise and it often felt we were the only people there. The pool was beautiful and was never very busy. The views from the pool and from the garden were incredible as were the starry night skies. The surrounding area was full of vineyards, olive groves and beautiful villages to explore. If you are a cyclist you will love this location. I hired a gravel bike and had a great time cycling some of the local routes. All in all this property is beautiful, the views are stunning and it was hard to leave. Many thanks to Joe for being about for any queries etc.!

We had an excellent stay at Villa Ampella Torre. It was immaculately clean with a brand new kitchen with all the utensils and basics you need including a very appreciated welcome basket. The beds were very comfortable and very much a home from home. The crown jewel is the patio and the amazing sunsets and views. It is very quiet and has a lovely shared pool but mostly we were the only ones using it. Villa Ampella Torre is very centrally based for all the beautiful Tuscan towns.

Beautiful Villa in Tuscany

The Villa is perfect in many ways...the kitchen is well-equipped, has a very comfy sitting area, has incredible views and sunsets of the Tuscan countryside from the lovely outdoor patio, and overall is well appointed. Podere Ampella is quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed our ten nights there. The location is excellent for driving to the major sites, Siena, Assisi, Cortona as well as the small villages that are close by to explore. Our communication with Naomi was superb and she provided excellent instructions and directions to us prior to our arrival at the Villa. We were met by Jo, the caretaker who was super helpful and nice throughout our stay. He made us feel comfortable and shared some of his favorite places to visit with us. We would highly recommend the Villa Ampella-La Torre to anyone wishing to stay in a lovely Villa in the Val d' Orcia area of Tuscany. Thank you, Naomi and Jo for a wonderful stay at your Villa. Wonderful Tuscany Stay

We were guests at Villa Ampella La Torre in August 2023 and had a wonderful stay. The restored farmhouse is updated with modern amenities but still retains all the charm and rustic elegance of a country manor house. The advertised panoramic views of the Val d'Orcia from our villa surpassed our expectations. The sunsets were glorious. Nearly every evening we admired the fantastic view from our patio with a good glass or two of local wine. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities of the villa; the swimming pool was especially delightful after a full day of touring and wine tasting. The villa is conveniently located near several wineries and hilltop towns, and Naomi provided great tips on nearby restaurants, wineries, and other activities. We took a cooking class at the Tuscan-Chef Cooking School in nearby Montisi and highly recommend it - it was great fun learning to make and eating delicious traditional Tuscan dishes. Other highlights were trips to Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, and Siena. One of our favorite winery experiences was at nearby Santa Giulia where we had an amazing tour and wine tasting with lunch. Since our first brief trip to Tuscany 10 years ago, we've dreamed of spending more time in a Tuscany villa. Our stay at Villa Ampella La Torre was everything we had imagined and more. Thanks Naomi!

All 5 star: Naomi, Jo and ALT! Naomi provided great info on places to visit, places to eat, things to do nearby, very helpful logistical info about the place and surrounding area, responded promptly to our enquiries, and there was a basket of local goodies to welcome us! Jo is the guy you want on site. He was there to greet us, fun to chat up, very helpful and thoughtful and he also responded quickly to our enquiries. ALT was everything we hoped for, great accommodations, great location, great vistas. Very wonderful to stay and enjoy ALT and as a base from which to travel to all the beautiful nearby villages, wineries, restaurants, etc. V&M

Beautiful Views!

This area and small community of villas is beautiful. Communication was great before arrival on getting there. Place was very clean and had all necessary amenities and was very spacious for four guests. We loved the patio for afternoon and the pool was refreshing for a late June visit. Our only issue appeared to be that the AC units were not cooling the Villa very well. We slept thru three nights with windows opened thinking that this was “normal”since we were told at arrival that the units were preset and it might take time to cool. It wasn’t until day four that we were told an AC repair person was coming to look at the units but we had not complained about AC. We then realized that it was known that the AC units were not working properly when we got there. That last night we were able to sleep with the windows closed and AC on and was very comfortable. We should have been told upon arrival of the AC situation and not led to believe that the temp inside was the normal temperature. Would stay again but we were disappointed that we weren’t told about the AC upfront.

Tuscan vacation

Beautiful updated Tuscan Farmhouse with gorgeous sunset views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa. The owner Naomi is very prompt in response to reservations with great details. Jo the caretaker is very friendly and gives great recommendations on the area. Enjoyed great wine tasting in local towns. Siena and Florence are not too far for day trips. This is a must stay if visiting the area!

Fantastic experience

We had really good time, surrounded with pure beauty. The location is central to many famous places and we enjoyed visiting them. The villa is equipped with everything one can need for a comfortable holiday. Naomi is a great host who establishes a nice friendly relationship ahead of arrival of her guests. Tuscany Charm

Our group of four adults had a wonderful stay! The condo has breathtaking views and is in a perfect location for exploring. We rented a car a visited several cities in the area and also got a feel for the true Tuscan lifestyle in the country villages nearby. The owner is so helpful with planning. We would love to return someday!

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus im Herzen der Toskana

Wir waren zu fünft eine Woche in der Villa Ampella la Torre. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Naomi sowie Jo, dem Kontakt vor Ort war tadellos. Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet und Naomi schickte vor Reisebeginn eine kleine Liste mit Restaurantempfehlungen. Bei unserer Ankunft war der Esstisch wunderschön gedeckt. Ein kleines Begrüßungsgeschenk auf dem Tisch und auf den Zimmern rundeten den Empfang gelungen ab. Wir fühlten uns alle willkommen und waren von der Ausstattung und der Sauberkeit des Hauses begeistert. Das Gelände und der Pool waren sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist für ein Ferienhaus außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet - man merkt, dass Naomi selbst kochbegeistert ist ;-) Jo bestellte uns auch gleich einen Tisch im Restaurant für den selben Abend - Vielen Dank nochmal für diesen Tipp! Der Ausblick von der Terrasse und aus dem Pool heraus sind atemberaubend. Die Lage des Anwesens mitten im Val d'Orcia könnte kaum besser sein. Viele der typischen Postkartenmotive sind maximal 30 min entfernt. Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano im näheren Umkreis und selbst Siena mit ca. 1 Stunde sowie Lucca mit 2 Stunden Autofahrt sind gut zu erreichen. Über Naomi haben wir einen Kochkurs im nahegelegenen Montisi gebucht - wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Tag. In der kleinen Küche haben wir mit insgesamt 8 Kursteilnehmern ein 4-Gänge-Menü gezaubert - einen herzlichen Dank an Alessandro für diese tolle Erfahrung und die vielen nützlichen Tipps. Das war bereits unsere dritte Reise in die Toskana und wir sind uns einig, dass wir nicht das letzte Mal in der Villa Ampella la Torre Urlaub gemacht haben. Ciao. We are Scott and Naomi formerly from Atlanta and now from Henderson, Nevada. After several years of searching for the perfect spot in Italy, we believe that we found it in Villa Ampella La Torre and think you will agree. We are excited that you are interested in staying at our home. If we can provide you with any assistance in planning your stay or if you have questions, please contact us. We also have a local host, named Jo Post, who lives nearby and speaks, Italian, English and German.

Enjoy panoramic views of the Val d'Orcia. After a day of sightseeing, relax in our well-appointed home. In season, swim in our community swimming pool. Enjoy a glass of wine and the beautiful sunsets from our patio. For those who want to cook, you can prepare meals in our fully equipped kitchen. Villa Ampella La Torre is a great location for day trips and exploring all of Tuscany. Our home is easily accessible from Autostrada A 1 and paved secondary roads.
