Évadez-vous à "HERON HIDEAWAY", niché sur le côté ouest pittoresque du lac Lamoka sur un terrain privé surdimensionné avec plus de 135 'de NIVEAU LAKEFRONT. À cette escapade 2BR isolée, confortable et économique, vous apprécierez le porche fermé, les meubles de jardin, le foyer, le quai privé et le canoë.

À l'intérieur, vous trouverez une cuisine entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer vos repas au bord du lac, ainsi qu'un grille-pain, un four micro-ondes, une cafetière et Keurig, ainsi qu'une table et des chaises.

Le salon dispose d'un canapé qui sort dans le lit queen, chaise, et rocker. Divertissement intérieur avec télévision à écran plat, lecteur DVD / BLU-RAY et de nombreux films, jeux de société, cartes et puzzles.

Chambre # 1 comprend (1) lit queen et grande commode
Chambre n ° 2 a (1) lit pleine taille, et (1) lit double avec commode et fenêtre AC unité.
Les locataires doivent apporter leur propre linge.

Le porche inclus est livré avec une bascule, des sièges supplémentaires, et une table basse, qui vous donnent une belle vue sur la cour et le lac.

Dehors, vous apprécierez la grande cour plate et herbeuse. L'allée est raide, mais il y a beaucoup de stationnement de niveau. Livré avec une table de pique-nique, barbecue, meubles de jardin, balançoires, hamac et foyer. Le DOCK est parfait pour votre bateau, ou vous pouvez utiliser le canoë fourni. Il y a beaucoup de pêche à partir du quai, mais ce n'est pas recommandé pour la baignade. Pagayez sur le côté nord du lac pour une île avec une plage de galets idéale pour la baignade.

À proximité des vignobles de Finger Lakes, des sentiers de randonnée, de Watkins Glen et des attractions touristiques.

Notez qu'il n'y a pas de WiFi disponible, mais la réception des cellules LTE est généralement fiable.

2024 fishing challenge

We love going to this lovely little house. We love the large yard and the big dock. Oyr goalbis alway who can catch the most snd biggest fish. Granddaughter had the most daughter most pounds ond son largest bass. And lots of memories and stories our favorite fishing place on the fingers

Anniversary getaway!

The weather couldn’t have been better! My husband and I enjoyed nearby wineries and breweries. We spent a couple of days adventuring out and the rest at the cottage. This place was ideal to have a quiet and relaxing long weekend. We really enjoyed going out in the water and soaking in natures beauty. We also did plenty of fishing - several bites and a couple of small mouth bass - perfect place to catch and release. Kelli gave great communication- we’d love to come back and do it all over again.

Peaceful and relaxing

A bit out of the way from "all the action", but that is what a lake cabin is for, right? It had everything we needed (except I didn't notice "bring your own linens and towels" in the listing, and had to hit Walmart since we flew in, but that worked out okay. ) Would stay again if we are in the area.

Just keeps getting better

This is our third stay at Heron Hideaway, and certainly the best. Everything was great - the sleep (I got ten hours a night), the kitchen, the grill, the sleeping porch, the fire pit and that whole property. A huge waterfront yard where the dogs played endlessly and the northern pike were hitting my lures with gusto. The great weather was a bonus, but even when the weather wasn’t great in years past, we always had a blast. Perfectly located between Watkins Glen and Hammondsport means you always have options for dining, walking and just living. Kelli’s a wonderful host.

Nice waterfront property

We enjoyed our stay. We were hoping to be able to at least put our feet in the water from the dock, but the algae made that impossible. If you are capable of kayaking or canoeing, this is a perfect spot. The fire pit was our favorite area, and the heron that came to the dock every day was fun to watch. We were able to go into Hammondsport to the Glen Curtis museum. I would recommend this to everyone. It is also close to Watkins Glenn and Keuka Lake.The camp was adequate for four people. It was clean and comfortable though the kitchen was a bit dated. Overall well worth the cost!

Relaxing, Picturesque

The property was the perfect location! Far enough away from main parts of Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes activities, but close enough that you’re able to get to wherever you’re looking to go within only a few minutes. The lake and property were so peaceful and quiet all hours of the day and provided a great place to unwind at the end of the day and to start the day at. We loved the kayaks and canoe that were provided! The lake was so easy to navigate and not much lake traffic. The dock was perfect for fishing, but if you are not on the lake, the hammock and swings were a nice addition. The property itself had just what was needed and was super clean. TMobile phones do not have service although able to get service close enough to property.

Sibling Vacation with Dogs

We had a great time during our vacation. The cottage was clean and the check-in process was easy. This was our first vrbo experience and the property owner made it extremely easy for us. Our dog enjoyed the cabin as well as the lake, she enjoyed playing fetch around the property. The kayak and life-vest were provided and it was wonderful to go into the lake from the private dock. Overall, it was a great trip and I would love to do it again!

Relaxing reset

Peaceful, enjoyable vacation. Love visiting local veggie stands, wineries and my favorite new restaurants. The cottage allots for privacy and relaxation. Typical of cottages in the area yet roomy with more beach front. Love this place.

Exactly what we were looking for…

Great place right on the water. Close enough to the wineries while allowing a more remote stay outside of the busy areas around Seneca. Fishing from the dock in the evening was fantastic.

Nice, very basic cabin on large lot.

We booked the property primarily to fish Lamoka Lake. The dock was perfect for my boat and the fishing was good for the two days out of five due to 3 days of rain. Lake was very weedy at property location and difficult getting around with a jet drive motor. If you want to cook on an outdoor grill, recommend bringing your own grill.

Had wonderful weekend get a way. very relaxing. the autumn colors were spectacular. so much fun wine tasting and shopping . fire pit was great and the sunrise and sunset were beautiful. the communication with the host was perfect with quick respond time.

Clean and cozy

This cozy little cottage was a exceptionally clean. My friends and I had so much fun sitting around the camp fire and enjoying the beautiful views of the lake. Very peaceful and quiet.

Even Better The Second Time

Last year we went in the spring, and this year we decided to come in the fall. Kelli has made some nice improvements to the place. It was sparkling when we arrived. We cooked great meals on the grill, we got at least nine hours of sleep every night and, as last time, our pup really enjoyed running the yard. The trout stayed away from me, but some of the sunnies put up a decent fight. Being in a quiet area right between Hammondsport and Watkins Glen makes this a very happy relaxing place with choices if you want to do something else. Thanks again, Kelli!

Quiet, Peaceful, Comforatble

Everything was exactly as advertised. Quiet and peaceful all week. Great fishing. We had never fished in that portion of the lake before and we were surprised by the quality and quantity of the pan fish. We loved the spacious yard and the nice dock for our boat. Sitting in the rockers on the porch was great. Saw herons every day, plus deer, ospreys, kingfishers , ducks and geese. We really enjoy that area. Lots of good local food & produce.

Great lake getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house! It was so convenient to have kayaks (a single and a tandem) available on the property. There was one maintenance issue that was addressed immediately. Thanks for a great stay!

NEW OWNERS! The Hoffmans live in Lancaster County, PA but fell in love with the Finger Lakes when they visited for the first time back in 2013. They are outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy hiking, fishing and paddling along with their two American Alsatians, Windy & Odin.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chanced upon Heron Hideaway on our first ever vacation to the Finger Lakes, and enjoyed the cottage as renters. While the whole area is beautiful, we loved Lamoka Lake right away, because it's perfect for fishing and paddling our canoes and kayaks. When we returned years later and had the opportunity to purchase the cottage, it was a no-brainer.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We've never stayed in a place that was so peaceful and relaxing. Who doesn't love a cozy little cottage where you can wake up and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake from the porch with your morning coffee? Sure we're biased, but we believe it's one of the best lots on the entire lake - beautiful views, private, a great dock and excellent fishing. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!
