The Villa Roma is like a little bit of Tuscany! This richly appointed villa is located among rolling hills with vineyards, open fields and woods. Thereâs even a pond with ducks. The bed in the master bedroom is beyond comfortable! When you plan your trip be sure to take advantage of the outdoor barbecue and wood fired pizza oven! This is truly a little bit of Italy in the middle of wine country.
Thx Roy for a great weekend enjoying your home and all it's surrounding beauty. Every detail inside and out has been thought of so all we had to do was relax and enjoy. House was beautiful , bocce ball court and patio were such a bonus; along with the geese in the pond, weather couldn't have been better and Roy was a great host making sure our stay was perfect.
This place is amazing and peaceful. We were a party of 8 and the home fit us perfectly. Roy and his assistant was very attentive to our needs and had emailed us ahead of time for information about surrounding areas and what to expect of the property. There were plenty of utensils, pots, etc for us to prepare dinner every night that we were there. We loved the property so much, we decided not to go out at dinner time, but stayed at home to enjoy the place. The property is a bite away up the mountain from St. Helena, but its worth the drive to have the seclusion and privacy of the property. Just FYI, there are NO curtains at all in the home, not even in the bathroom. Also it would be nice to have a list of where all the pots, utensils, toasters, etc are. We had to like scavenger hunt for the item in the very elegant and beautiful kitchen. Staying at this property is like staying in a Tuscan Villa in Italy. All 8 of us was very impressed with the place. Thank you Roy for making this stay comfortable, peaceful, and amazing.
This villa is beautiful, charming in a magical setting!
The owner, Roy Bissember, was very kind and helpful. He even stayed an hour to drive us down the hill on a rainy night! The villa has an amazing outdoor kitchen with a grill and pizza oven. We canât wait to return to take advantage of the outdoors. Despite the rain, our weekend was wonderful.
This property was amazing and exactly what I was looking for when going to Napa with friends and family. House is newly constructed, what you see in the picture is what you get, secluded and relaxing, I wish we could have stayed longer. Having not yet been rated, you never know what to expect. Roy, the owner, met us for check in and was extremely nice and hospitable, giving us a quick tour of the property. This is a great value, a house like this in Napa would easily be two times the price. The one drawback is the commute to and from Napa is about 25-30 min and is a very very winding road, but to me its worth it. My memories of Napa will be more about the time I spent with family and friends at the house, laughing and interacting with everyone than will the wine tastings in Napa, although they were nice too.
This house was perfect. We organized a spontaneous birthday celebration for a few friends and had a fabulous time here. Everyone loves it and no one wanted to leave.
