INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Splash condo

We came for a long weekend in January. The weather was beautiful, warm enough to walk on the beach. The pools are heated, so kids can swim all year round. No other condo in the area compares in amenities to Splash for young children and families. We found this condo to be clean and have all the basic necessities for our stay. There were plenty of towels (no washcloths) and linens. Kitchen was well stocked, except for there are no wine glasses or corkscrew (not a deal breaker, just make sure to bring your own!) The furniture needed a little tlc-the couch has a large hole in the seam, leather ottoman is peeling. Overall, it's a nice condo and is a great value in the winter!

Toddlers Dream

We had a great time but this is only for kids. No Adult pool or heated pool as the listing said. Kids were in all the pools and nothing is heated. Lazy river provides floats but they are child size. No floats or balls allowed in the other pools and it made it easy to enjoy the pools without all the clutter. No Friday or Saturday night pool side movies as listed in description. No Bar/Grill on property, they have an area for it but it was only open 2 hours over the 8 days we were there. The lady said she was allotted so much food and when it’s gone she shuts down. Food was good but they never opened again. The condo was good and they replaced the broken microwave and coffee pot while we were there. Washer and dryer are very small and old. Blinds broken and drapes are still ripped but they still work. Everything is normal wear and tear for a beachfront condo. Very easy beach access and lots of places to wash off sand. It’s great having Alvin’s Island across the street. It was overall a great place to stay and we would stay again when we take our grandchildren.

Mother of Toddler Review

We stayed at this condo from 5/16 through 5/21. Upon arrival at 5:30 PM the condo had not been cleaned. We called and the customer service rep. got a cleaning person en route. He did not bother to call back and give me an ETA as he had promised. Upon calling him back he offered to see if they had anywhere else we could stay that was comparable (as we have a one year old daughter who had been in the car off and on for 8 hours.) They offered us a studio unit for the night (3 adults and one child.) The unpacking and repacking alone made this useless as well as the fact that there was no way that many could sleep in one king bed. We left for the cleaning person to clean the condo. After two hours away, the condo was "cleaned." The floors were still filthy as our feet turned black when walking barefoot, the bedroom door had been locked and we had to pick the lock, and hopefully there is a second set of comforters and mattress pads as there is no way there was enough time for the cleaning person to wash these. The glasses were stacked precariously in the cabinet and one fell and broke. The vacuum didn't even have enough suction to pick up the glass. I have been told my cleaning fee was being refunded but I have yet to see anything. I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the level of customer service throughout my stay. A member of management nor the owner never bothered to contact me after they were made aware of the issues. I would never stay with this management company again for fear of the same treatment. Overall Splash was nice and perfect for my daughter with the smaller splash pad. It would have been nice if this condo would have included beach service like many others.

Great Stay!!

My family really enjoyed Splash 1004W. Beds are very comfy!!! Check in was a breeze. The condo was furnished with everything we need to cook and serve meals. We loved the property amenities as well. Thank you Panhandle Getaways!! We will be back again.

Great stay

My family and I love coming this time of year. The room was perfect for our needs. We didn’t let the chilly weather get in our way. Pier Park was right up the street, we found a cute little local grocery store called Carousel that had an awesome gift shop and a great selection of wine and cheeses. This room had everything we needed for a great eeekrjf stay. We will return. Thanks for letting us stay!

A good home base

We enjoyed the condo as a nice home base. We had a number of boating activities planned, so we only used the room for sleeping, and did not use the splash park and spent only a little time on the beach. This is an extremely busy area during this time of year and there were long waits for the elevator and traffic was heavy throughout PCB.

Comfy beds...working coffee pot

The listing cited “sleeps 6” but had no blankets for any beds and no bedding for the pullout. The mgmt company did bring hospital-like blankets about mid-night the first night and housekeeping brought linens on our last night of stay. There was an ironing board and no iron; dishes were dirty; the dryer extremely loud; only 3 forks; the toaster only toasted one side of the bread in either slot: the freezer took more than 8 hours to freeze anything on the highest setting...at least the coffee pot worked and the mattresses were really comfy. Additionally, the listing cited “bonus benefits” like discounts including a daily allowance for Dave and Busters...that we never received nor did we get a reply when I asked about it. I’d stay again if it were the only available property in PCB.

It was an Awesome to take our children for Vacation 🏝

It was an Awesome Experience for us being our 1st visit to PCB. We loved everything about the resort except the elevators were a problem , which I understand they were doing all they could. Also the bar and grill was closed , that was a bummer to us. Their were a few issues with our Condo 1004w , other than that we throughly enjoyed our stay with Splash Resort. We will definitely be back.

The location was great. The beach was beautiful. The condo was nice but in need of some repair.

The property had some amazing amenities for children. Unfortunately, the bad things tainted our experience and we probably won't go back to Splash resort. The main thing was the lack of elevators. We would wait 10 minutes just to catch an elevator back to our room. Also, because of the early check out times, everyone is trying to leave with carts of items making it impossible to catch an elevator down. On the day we left we watched 5 elevators pass our floor already filled. Although the condo was pretty good, the kitchen was in need of repair. The cabinets had pieces peeling away, the microwave handle was broken and the garbage disposal was not working. There were some broken window blinds and the curtain was shredded. The resort itself was fairly well maintained. The workout room was hot in the morning like th AC had not been on all night. The pools are the best asset.

Depends on your unit...

This is our second stay at Splash and we returned mostly because our girls love the place. Two years ago we were lucky enough to get a great condo even though we had heard about others who did not fare so well. Well, we were the unlucky ones this time. The condo we stayed in is falling apart. I understand that renters are rough on it, but it needs to be better maintained. When we arrived there were no glasses, the can opener was broken, the dryer made a loud noise every time we used it, the ceiling was leaking, the ice machine and the iron were messed up, some furniture is stained. I know I am forgetting something, but you get my point. I blame it mostly on others who stay there and do not respect the place. I try to treat a condo as if it is my own and take care of it. Unfortunately, this one needs improvement because others have not done so. On the positive side, the condo is decorated well. The beds are very comfortable and of course, it has a great view of the beach and ocean. The place wasn't bad enough to ruin our trip or anything but we will ask for a different condo when we return.

Will not take my family back to this place ever again. Horrible vaca

On arrival, I found roaches in the master bathroom. The tub stopper in the master bath was broken. And also the dryer was broken. When you have a family and going home on vacation with Sandy clothes and towels is horrible. Tiki bar service was horrible. Took at a least 30-45 minutes to get a drink or sandwich. All the staff at splash was very rude. Waste of money. I've paid the same price at other places and received A+ service. My whole family was very disappointed.

Awesome place to stay

Fair Price

This condo is reasonably priced and is in a great location. We love Splash Resort. It is a great place with lots of entertainment for children. This was our second stay. Unfortunately this condo didn't include beach service so that was an additional cost and it was not as clean as I would have liked it to have been. The floor was sandy upon arrival and my son had black feet from walking on the floors bare footed. Also, some of the dishes had been put away with food particles dried on them as if they came out of the dishwasher not totally clean. The place is decorated tastefully, is in a great location, and overall we enjoyed our stay. I just would have liked to feel as if it were cleaner upon our arrival.

What a great place for a vacation, from children to seniors. I had a couple come and visit while I was there and they couldn't believe the green water and white beach. The view is amazing, and the condo was comfortable and clean. My grandchildren would love all the water activities,but I would recommend this for all ages.

Treasured Memories

The condo was great. It was perfect for our family of four. The resort is perfect for kids. Everything was waiting for us when we arrived. I loved the keyless entry.

10/10 Excellent

My children were excited, challenged and exhausted by the end of our stay, thank you!

This is THE resort if you have children or grandchildren! Our little guys, 4, 6 and 8 couldn't get enough of the slides, splash toys and the spray pad. When they were done with the water they grabbed our hands to go to the mini bowling machine in the game area. My wife and I enjoyed the lazy river where we could still watch them play and we call went to the dive in movie. Panhandle Getaways got us a great deal on the rate and had everything we needed in the condo so there was no check in which was great after a long drive down with 3 kids. Great view and TV's in every room, this condo was more than we expected in every way. We're coming back with the grandparents next season so we can spend more time on the beach! Thanks guys, it was the BEST.

Great Condo! Just not so great customer service :(

My family loved the condo and the resort. It was a wonderful place to vacation. The beach was clean and beautiful. The property manager on the other hand, not so great. The customer service was horrible. The resort customer svc. was great though. We will definitley go back just not through this agent. Which is sad because they do have great rates. But it is not worth the trouble or hassle. Would rather pay more for better svc.

Wonderful Place To Stay

From the minute we walked in the door everything was great. Everything was clean and nice. We came down for the weekend with our 4 children. It was nice to have plenty of towels so we were not washing clothes daily, thats always a plus. We stay at the splash a couple times per year and this was our first time staying in this unit and I must say we all loved it and we will be back to stay here again.
