Un Get-Away relaxant qui se trouve sur le 9e Golf Hole - Lago Vista Country Club. Le lac Travis est en face du Front Porch, et il y a de très bons bateaux, pêche, sports nautiques et golf.

Lago Vista est un lac communautaire que vous manquerez si vous clignez des yeux! Beaucoup de résidents se retirent et se dirigent là-bas, car c'est une ville assez sereine et pittoresque.

Pour d'autres choses amusantes et aventureuses, vous êtes niché dans certaines des régions les plus pittoresques du Texas. Si la randonnée est votre truc, vous êtes au bon endroit ... Austin Nightlife? Environ 40 minutes de route!

Ou si vous êtes simplement intéressé par le refroidissement, il y a une piscine (pour l'été), une superbe vue sur la nature - y compris le lac, et beaucoup de cerfs!

Nous louons cette propriété sur pas moins de 2 jours de base de location. Comme il s'agit d'une propriété appréciée, nous limiterons également l'âge de la réservation à 27 ans. Nous aurons également besoin d'un permis de conduire.

We had family in town and rented a home near ours and it was lovely. The views were incredible, property was clean and well appointed. There are stairs if you’re worried about older folks or children. Location was lovely. We absolutely look forward to staying again!

Charming and spacious

This is my favorite little staycation place. Plenty of room in the house for activities and family dining. The pool is clean and perfect for littles. And Cody Park has a great beach front on Lake Travis, that is only 10 minutes away.

Nice & spacious house

Very spacious house, very clean, fantastic views and sunsets, comfortable beds & pillows. We enjoyed the deer coming every days to visit and eat. The swimming pool was very clean, the water was very refreshing since it has a lot of shade, therefore, kids were able to spend hours playing in the water.

Favorite place to stay especially during the summer

This is our third time staying here and one of our favorite places to visit during summers. Plenty of space to spread out and great for kids of all ages. The pool is very welcoming especially during the hot summer days. We had a few issues upon arrival but Ken was very quick to respond and did his best to resolve. Thank you Ken!

Bachelorette staycation

Honestly the pictures DO NOT do this property justice! We went for my bachelorette trip and did it staycation style and enjoyed the pool and went to the lake. My friends and I were not ready to leave. I enjoyed drinking coffee and watching the deer walk right up to the door. We had such a blast and I will be returning. Lake Travis is beautiful but the home just made it perfect.

Lago Vista Getaway

The online pictures of the house don't capture the true beauty of the house itself. My granddaughters were thrilled with the pool & the area surroundings. Lago Vista has several parks available within a 10 minute drive from the house. I want to thank Mr. Ken for the hospitality & we will definitely return next year if not sooner.

LOVED This Place!!!

Everything about this stay was just AMAZING!!! Such a beautiful neighborhood and the best part for my family was getting to feed the deer straight out of your hand!! Only a couple things that concerned us, some sheets and towels did seem to be dirty and have stains, and my son was limited on being able to play outside the property due to a electricity pole that seemed to be knocked over the and lines to the pole were hanging very low. Other than that the owner is very fast at responding and very easy to communicate with.

Perfection!!

This home is absolutely lovely!! So much space and nicely furnished. I planned a girls trip and this place was perfect for all 6 of us. The deer are all over the place...so sweet! We wish the outdoor patio was lit better and had seating, but we sat in the sunroom and that worked great! It would have been nice to have the pool available as well.. but since it rained off and on...it was no biggie. Loved it all!! We'll be back!!

Thanks Joy for your review. I regret that the pool was not available, as it has been raining so much, my re-plaster job was quite delayed. But I should have communicated to you that it was not available. For that reason, you are welcome back at any time for a couple of days compliments of me. Sandra I am very sorry to hear this. We pride ourselves in keeping the pool properly balanced. I have researched what could cause this and it looks like it could be a hypersensitivity to chlorine possibly. If our levels are too high however, we will need to reduce them.

Hill Country GetAway

Labor Day weekend stay - Home is in an extremely quiet neighborhood! Loved our morning and evening visitors - the deer! The guys played golf at the Lago Vista course that was located in the neighborhood - so convenient! Snagged a deal for that in advance on Groupon. Since centrally located, we drove to Marble Falls (about 45 mins) to eat at the Blue Bonnet cafe and then did the cave tour at Longhorn Cavern State Park. If you want Mexican food, Dos Salsas is good! We ate in Austin, but there is one in Cedar Park. Helpful tip for using the access card for the parks in the neighborhood - hold the card flat against the keypad.

Great for quick relaxing getaway

Enjoyed our stay. Property clean upon arrival. Pool was wonderful with shade from the trees which help to keep it cool in the summer! The deer came right up to the property line, awesome experience. If you need more then the basic pots and pans I would recommend u bring them with you. You will also need to bring your own beach towels. It was nice to have access to the property owners Netflix Account on the tv as I always forget my password :) Fast response time on questions to the property owner but keep it to one question a text to ensure all questions are answered. Overall a fun and relaxing experience which I would love to repeat again soon.

Great for a family stay

This was a great place to take the family. There is plenty to do for everyone. My kids played in the pool all day which has been very well maintained. (Beware of bad golfers who don't warn you when they shank a ball towards the pool.) There is a net up covering most of the pool area but one made its way in the area after bouncing in the tree and almost hit us. Then they just drive off and act like it wasnt them. The lake was just a short drive away as well. The house is very nice and maintained to acceptable cleanliness. It could really use a deep cleaning that gets all the furniture, fridge, oven, and rugs. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend.

Incomplete comfort

The location & surroundings were beautiful but the property was run down somewhat . The inside of home had many broken areas. Stopped up sinks in the kitchen, had to use plunger many times. One sink vanity in master bathroom with trinkle of water power only. Tolite seat need replaced in master bathroom. Kept sliding back and forth, pinching ones legs. Dinning-room chair broken. Only one bar stool, not 3 like photo. Not enough outsude chairs around pool or on patio to accommodate 6-8 people. Pool skimmer broken. Had to manually clean pool. No towels in either bathroom. Found all towels in clothes dryer , mostly wet. Had to dry them and fold all the laundry to supply bathrooms. The beds/mattresses were very comfortable. AC was powerful and keep home cool along with fans in each room. Insects/spiders killed daily in multiple areas. Truly not a complainer....but we will never book there again unless there is upkeep, repairs, better cleaning and insect extermination of the home. Sincerely, MBox DPenque

Beautiful views and friendly people, adorable deer, great potential.

The owner was quick to respond to concerns- the pool was cloudy from the trees and rain and he sent someone to clean it. This property was very spacious, fitting 2 adults and 4 kids with room to spread out. The linens were clean, and there were plenty of mini toiletries and extra towels. The washer and dryer on site were handy, though you should plan for the time to dry your clothes twice and don’t let your washed clothes sit too long. There were enough plates and such to eat from, though preparation tools were limited and the knives were very dull. There were a few things that concerned me. First this place is obviously under renovation. Discarded supplies littered every closet, cabinet, and drawer- even in the kitchen as painting supplies mixed with ladles. Second, the floor was so sticky I left my shoes on. Third, the back closet in the kids room housed all the cleaning supplies and dirty laundry from the previous tenants. Finally, (shudder) there were a couple of dead cockroaches. While dead is better than alive, I still made sure I left no food out. Now this is an older home in Texas so you have to expect a certain level of bugs, but still I shudder. Our kids LOVED the deer and frogs that were just steps away. They also loved the cold pool and putted golf balls in the afternoon. Don’t go in the morning unless you have a death wish. Golf balls will come whizzing down the course. One almost landed in my morning coffee as my friend and I were enjoying the cute on the porch. 😆 The property really is nice, it just needs some sprucing up and decluttering. Maybe a perimeter bug spray…I think once they finish the renovation it is going to be spectacular.

Thanks for the review. I actually had the property sprayed a couple of weeks before your stay. Unfortunately, the bugs you saw were dead and visible because of that also, I need to communicate the importance of shutting the sliding glass doors completely because bugs can get through the cracks if not. Regarding the back closet, and renovation...the home was painted about 2 months ago and the lainter did leave a few things around here and there. I have gathered those things so they wouldn't be visible to more clients. The house does sit on a golf hole and renters should know so I appreciate you bring that to their attention. Thanks again for staying with us...I trust that we will do better by you in the future.

Great Place yet Pictures Don't Do Justice!

House was Nice, yet I must admit I was skeptical on booking because the pictures are not great quality. I would suggest better pictures that actually show the house layout and decor. The house is really nice and pictures don't do Justice. The only thing that I think could use improvement is the cleaning. The house is clean and linen are as well, yet a deep cleaning is needed as there were many spider webs in the kitchen and dinning room tablecloth was also dirty. Other then that, I truly recommend this house. The pool was a nice size as well.

Relaxing and love seeing all the deer

This was our second stay. It is so comfy and relaxing. Beautiful view of the lake from a distance. Love seeing the deer everywhere in the morning and evenings. Pool is very nice just very cold because it’s shaded by the trees. We really enjoyed our stay over all.

We are Texas Natives, and we currently reside in Fort Worth, TX. Because we do not get to visit this propery as much as planned, we have decided to open it to renters. We have 4 children ranging in age from 26-to-13.

We met in College, University of Nkrth Texas amd have been married for 27 years.

We purchased this property because it us truly a get away from the hustle and bustle of life. There is no rushing and rat racing in Lago Vista. The people are super friendly, and Austin, Along with many other quaint cities, are just up the hiway.

Biggest benefit to us is enjoying nature out here, which include deer-watching. But getting on the water to fish or play is great fun!
