S'il vous plaît venez profiter de nos deux étages, condo de deux chambres face à la plage et à la jetée de Port Hueneme. Il a deux balcons et une deuxième entrée au niveau supérieur. Cette plage calme et charmante est parfois considérée comme un secret le mieux gardé. Le climat ici jouit de températures dans les années 70 la plupart de l'année et dans les années 60 pendant l'hiver. Notre complexe fermé possède deux piscines et deux jacuzzis qui font face à l'océan. Port Hueneme est une route panoramique de 20 miles le long de la Pacific Coast Highway jusqu'à Malibu. Il est également à environ 60 minutes au nord du comté de Los Angeles. Les autres attractions locales incluent Ventura et Santa Barbara qui sont respectivement à 25 et 50 minutes en voiture. Il y a un restaurant de fruits de mer décontracté un pâté de maisons le long de la plage qui accueille de la musique live au moins une fois par semaine.
Nous demandons un séjour minimum de 30 jours. Chaque chambre dispose d'un lit queen-size et le canapé-lit confortable peut accueillir deux adultes supplémentaires.

Jean, the hostess, was very helpful and responsive to all inquires .
The apartment was lovely and right across the road from the beach, which has a great bike/walking path. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful little place, beautiful view
We enjoyed the walks to the pier and the beautiful sunsets. It is condo living in a quiet community. You will have a good time, however, there are no local groceries stores nearby so plan ahead. No traffic and a safe environment makes this an overall cozy condo worth checking out.

Port Hueneme is a hidden jewel. A beautiful quiet beach, close to everything.
I spent many happy hours sitting on the balcony overlooking the crashing waves, and I listened to the sounds of the ocean at night. The beach is excellent for long walks. The pier is a wonderful place to watch the surfers and families enjoying the waves. The condo is very clean and Jean was very helpful and attentive to every question and request.

Relaxed stay at the beach
The condo was very clean and comfortable and check-in was seamless. It has a really nice, well equipped kitchen with everything you need to make homemade meals. Internet service is good and I was able to work remotely from the condo with no issues. We loved the pools and hot tubs and the proximity to the beach can't be beat. I loved sitting on the ocean view balconies in the evenings after my evening strolls on the sand. Port Huemene and nearby Oxnard have tons of things to do and we enjoyed trying out many of the nearby restaurants with a variety of different cuisines.

Beauty and Relaxation at its best!!!
Everything about my 28 days stay at this property in beautiful and quiet Port Hueneme was great. The owners were always there when I had any questions. Responded to my texts and phone calls right away. The apartment is very nice and well appointed in every way. I couldn’t have asked for a better place where I could relax and make my own schedule with meals, etc. Enjoined the local produce as well. I highly recommend it whether is a couple or a family. I’m sure it’s a great summer choice as well, though I stayed during the months of January and February and they were sunny except for maybe 2 and only part of the day. Again a great choice. 90 day stay
The unit is nice, clean overall nice place to stay.
The biggest issue is the property manager. Constantly requesting access to the unit, painting, putting new furniture together, balcony repairs. Sending emails and texts furniture outside not covered even though they have no furniture covers. Only a barbecue cover, which we forgot to put back on one time. She demanded access to go put it on. Now how did she know this? You cannot see from street?
The constant emails, texts and access requests were out of line. I requested numerous times she stop as we were there for work. In healthcare we had to be conscious of COVID and were required to be tested any time people entered. We also have protected information that required us to to take extra precautions. She had no respect for our needs and requirements.
On one of her trips She squeezed a desk in the second bedroom, which I tripped over in middle of night. So my son moved it downstairs and sure enough she was on us about that.
If you stay here be aware the property manager is very intrusive. She definitely made our trip much less enjoyable.

Dear Barbara,
I wish that the state mandated balcony inspections had been ordered for another time. I unfortunately had no control over this date and was given very little notice myself. There are many more rules, regulations and restrictions that we have as owners of a condo in a complex with an HOA. The HOA takes very good care of our common structures and landscaping. It oversees all aspects of our condo complex. I am so sorry that it inconvenienced you to the extent that it did. The first structural engineer found a problem with my upper level balcony that was considered an urgent safety concern. It was not so severe that my guests could not sit on the balcony but it did require that I seek out a contractor to do structural repairs that were initially thought to be needed urgently. You are so right that there were several extra texts that I sent your way to get your permission for entry into the condo. I did everything I could to minimize entry into the condo and contacting you. I scheduled the two contractor bids on the same day . The men came separately within a 90 minute window to look over my balcony. I hired one of the two men who came that day. He later needed to enter the condo to see the balcony an additional time with a second structural engineer. I wiped down surfaces with alcohol as we touched door knobs and sliding glass doors to enter and exit the areas. The second engineer disagreed with the first engineer and could find nothing that urgently needed to be repaired. This was good news but you had already been inconvenienced many times as had I. Each visit to the condo was preceded by texting you to set up a time between 10 am to 2 pm that was agreeable to you and your son Craig. Some of the inspection dates were pushed out as Craig had company visiting from out of town. That was fine but it did require some additional texting and date changes.
The painting issue was a misunderstanding between Craig and I. He texted me back a few weeks prior to his arrival at the condo stating that it was alright to do some minor painting during the business day when he would be at work anyway. After checking into the condo he forgot he sent me that text and said no to the painting. I ,of course, cancelled any plans to paint a small wall near the front door. I understood he no longer wanted that to happen. That was fine and I thought that was all we needed to say about it. You did not understand the entire conversation and thought the project was bigger and that I made the decision to paint without asking Craig or you. That was not accurate . I am again sorry for the misunderstanding that caused you additional concerns which were not necessary. This happened when Craig asked you to take over all conversations regarding the condo without mentioning the previous text between Craig and I from mid July which was prior to his occupying the unit.
In your review above, you wrote "On one of her trips, she squeezed a desk into the second bedroom...". Your son Craig actually assembled and set up the desk in that bedroom. I had ordered both a new dresser and desk for that room and the furniture arrived at my house after Craig had already moved in. I asked you for permission to enter the third floor entrance so that my daughter could leave the new assembled dresser in the closet and also leave the desk which she had planned to assemble. My daughter ran out of time and left the unassembled desk in a box and under the bed so it was out of the way. You gave me permission in a text to enter and drop off the items during the day when Craig was at work so he would not be inconvenienced. No one was at the condo when my daughter dropped off the two items of furniture.
You had a question about the grill cover and how I could see it from outside the unit. It is clearly visible from the grassy area outside and adjacent to the condo units facing Ventura Road. I walk my dog all over the condo complex including the grassy area near the balcony as do other dog owners who live here. It had rained heavily the week that I called you. I just wanted someone to move the cover which was laying on its side on the balcony wall. It had been in the same position for the previous two months. I initially refrained from sending a reminder but with the heavy rain I was concerned over possible mold growth underneath the cover. I asked you if I could move it to an area where the inside of the cover could dry. Your son Craig was out of town unfortunately for another couple of days. This is why I offered to move it which I did once you gave me permission to enter the area. I put the cover on the back of a balcony chair so the underside could dry out more easily.
Every effort was taken to not disturb you or Craig during your stay . I have been a host both here on VRBO and another platform for the past four years and always treat my guests with the utmost respect and consideration. Their comfort and enjoyment are always my top concerns. My sincere apology for any and all of the inconveniences you felt.

Feels like home
At arrival we met Jean, the owner of the property. I have no words to describe how great she is and her daughter as well. Jean was available every time we needed her and she made sure that we feel comfortable. We certainly felt very welcomed. Amazing lady!
Property is very clean and furnished with style and care with quality furniture. All you need is there and if you need something else, Jean will make sure to provide.
While driving there we had some issues and I texted her that we'll be late. She bought water and milk for coffee for us offering the salad as well to wait for us when we arrive. Even before we met her it felt like we're going to visit a family member.
There is assigned covered parking and one parking space asside for a guest. 2 pools and 2 jacuzzis. Gated clean community with flowers and butterflies and beautiful and friendly local people who are living there with whom we made friends. Kids were walking free without fear. By living in Las Vegas, we sure appreciate that. Felt safe and as at home if not better, because we didn't want to leave.
Beautiful view on the beach and Pier from 2 balconies. Beach is just across the street. Clean and not crowded.
We went to Malibu, wich is 30 minutes drive, we wanted to visit famous Malibu beaches... Was so crowded that kids said how our beach is better and they didn't want to swim there. So we ended up not going to Malibu beach but just drove through and spent more time on Santa Monica Pier that day... Compared to Port Hueneme beach with friendly locals mostly, birds and seals, Malibu felt like a circus.
So much to mention. I liked to walk in the morning. The best beach to get in touch with nature. We were fortunate to see seals lying on the beach, dolphins in the ocean, different kind of birds... Locals have respect for their town, you can tell. They are not just after money and they are protecting that place, I feel. Many people we met living there for long time.
Other practical things, shops and restaurants are all near by. Also farmers market in the harbor on Sundays...
Previous years we stayed at Long Beach peninsula and last year at Sunset Beach, on the sand in beach house with the ocean in the backyard, with also great landlords... But this experience over shined all that.

Hello , I have very much enjoyed hosting my lovely beach front condo for the past five years. Everyone loves it. It is definitely a guest favorite. Our Port Hueneme beach community is a very dog friendly place. I grew up, went to school and lived on the East Coast for most of my life. In late 2013, I moved to California and purchased my beach property in 2016 . I began renting it out in January of 2018. I am a dog owner and a dog advocate. My little dog, Alex, is a 32 pound black and white Shiba Inu mix. She enjoys the beach and the local dog parks are her favorite places as she gets to run very fast off leash. She loves it!
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
The weather here year round is very pleasant with only a few uncomfortable days . It is a great oasis for anyone who wants to get away from traffic, hectic city life, humidity, snow, excessively hot or cold weather. It is quiet at this beach so you can take leisure or vigorous walks or runs all over the beach and the adjacent residential areas. It is your choice. The ocean waves, the surfers, the seagulls, the channel islands and the palm trees are part of the lovely view. The people who live here are happy and friendly. Most are walking with or without their dogs and enjoying the sights. There is little to no traffic congestion in this beach town. The closest grocery store and shopping center is 2.5 miles away. That is close enough but also far enough away to keep this area very relaxing and peaceful.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
This beach front condo is a guest favorite. It is well furnished, contemporary and clean. It has two balconies facing the ocean and beach pier. A secure gated community where the condo is located is just across the street from the beach. The complex has two heated pools and more than one jacuzzi. It also is close to Channel Island National Park where you can enjoy whale watching among many other parts of nature. It is a short ferry trip to the Island of Santa Cruz which is the main island. Los Angeles is 60 miles south of this area. Malibu is a 35-40 minute drive away. Ventura is a 30 minute drive and Santa Barbara is a 60 minute drive north on the 101. It is far enough away from the busier cities to be quiet, but yet only a short drive away. There are also sealions nearby. The Channel Islands can be seen best at sunset which is very picturesque from our shores.
