We loved the ocean view , sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings was awesome!! The entire condo was the perfect size, had all of the amenities we needed, shopping wasn't far away at all. Everything was exactly as described and host stayed in contact to make sure you didnt need anything, and if you did, she was just a phone call away . Highly recomend.

The stay was very pleasant. The building was older however the condo was updated very well. We will return to this location.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and your time in Galveston! Yes, By the Sea is an older building, however, the HOA has done a lot of remodeling and upgrades lately ~ including remodeling the entire downstairs lobby and adding a work out room, two lounge areas and a coffee bar. They have a lot of projects underway and are making many improvements! Glad you enjoyed the condo ~ you really can't beat the incredible views from the 10th floor plus the beach being so close. Thank you for being such great guests ~ we would love to host you again anytime!

Great location with an outstanding view! Very clean property and really friendly front desk people. Communication with Ruthann was exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

The view of the gulf was very nice but the deck is very narrow. The place was nice enough for our needs but one shower could have been cleaner and my bed needed either new box springs or none at all. Elevator service very slow. Enjoyed it but a little overpriced

We're sorry the elevator delays affected your experience; unfortunately, building elevator maintenance is outside our control. Our two-bedroom, two-bath oceanfront condo offers beautiful views and direct beachfront surroundings, and we strive to provide a comfortable stay and good value for our guests. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next summer. The condo was great, Perfect location to the beach and restaurants. The condo was amply supplied with everything a person would need, however I would like to see more bath towels and hand towels in the bathrooms but that did not create a great problem for us.

I have no doubt we'll want to obtain this property in the future. The view was amazing to wake up too. The condo was clean and very comfortable. We had every possible store and restaurant nearby, kitchen fully equipped.

Everything was WONDERFUL!! We thoroughly enjoyed the view. The sound of the waves from the balcony was just breathtaking. The front desk service was exceptional. The only concern was the temperature of the room was very difficult to control. We adjusted the temperature,, but it did not respond very well. There also was a leak that we reported Tuesday, was looked at Wednesday but no service provided as of Thursday evening. With that said, we definitely would rent again. We had the most amazing time here in this condo!!!

Hi Linda, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! I was unaware that the VRBO site was down - I am so sorry! I did message you to check and see if everything was going well and I was available by phone or text message to answer any questions so I was unaware that you had any issues. The wi-fi instructions are on the tv stand in the living room beside the wi-fi box and tv on a laminated page. I really appreciate your feedback and I will definitely provide more written materials in the condo including check out instructions which are only to put dirty dishes in dishwasher, used towels in the tub and lock up. Thank you again for choosing our condo for your Galveston beach trip and I hope you and your friends had a lovely time!
