Idyllbrook est charmante maison de style artisanal donnant sur un cadre semblable à un parc avec un ruisseau saisonnier dans Fern Valley. De nombreuses améliorations comprennent des planchers en chêne rouge massif, comptoirs en granit dans la cuisine et salle de bain, cheminée ledgestone avec cheminée en cèdre, luminaires d'époque et un coin repas confortable. Enrouler autour de platelage avec des vues boisées et un chemin privé qui mène à un magnifique gazebo projeté à côté d'un ruisseau de babillage saisonnier.

The house was exactly as described and clean. We had a small delay in one communication with host but they were very apologetic and responsive thereafter. The location was excellent; very close to the town center and trails as well as a nice neighborhood for extra dog walking. The gazebo was a beautiful place for afternoon reading, naps, birdwatching. And we loved that Idyllwild gave us the quiet 4th of July evening we needed.

Magical place !!!

My husband and I fell in love with this place. It’s so quiet and peaceful, even though it’s just five minutes from town. The gazebo is the perfect spot to work or read while listening to the sounds of nature and the creek. Every morning we had breakfast on the deck, and in the evenings we sat by the fire pit, enjoying our peaceful moments. I highly recommend this place for a couples getaway.

Relaxing getaway.

We loved our escape from the desert heat and enjoyed staying in this lovely cabin. It was simply perfect. We will definitely return.

A great retreat

This was our second time staying here and it continues to be a great place to get away. Close to town (can walk if you’re up for a bit of a trek) and all of the shops and restaurants. But the neighborhood is pretty chill and of course the gazebo is the best place to relax. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies if you want to make meals. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cabin, perfect for a relaxing getaway

Loved the property, if you want to curl up in front of a roaring fireplace with sounds of a forest brook in the background then this place is for you. Close to town and nature. Very communicative hosts (in a good way).

My Happy Place

Wonderful, cozy cabin that had everything I needed. The gazebo is magical - so peaceful. This is my new happy place. I hope to return often.

Super Cozy Cabin!

The Idyllbrook cabin was a perfect getaway from the city for our family (two small kids and a dog). The cabin was super clean and comfortable. There are woods to explore right in the back yard and the home had everything we could have wanted from kitchen supplies/spices to bedding, firewood, and games... even the guitar was tuned! Such a great trip -- we can't wait to return!

Nice getaway

The house is very clean and cozy. The kitchen has everything you could need including dog bowls. The property is beautiful and relaxing, you can hear the brook running behind the house. Close enough to town but far enough you feel secluded. Everything was clean and comfortable. Check in time is a little late compared to others we’ve stayed at. Overall a great time!

Phenomenal!!

We stayed for 3 nights and spent a total of 3 hours offsite. We had no desire to leave. The gazebo is wonderful! Perfect for watercolor painting and just relaxing. The main balcony has a wonderful view with comfortable seating. We ate outdoors on the balcony and enjoyed the gas fireplace. The kitchen is stocked so well that you will have a very hard time thinking of anything that you might have at home that isn't there also. We noticed and appreciated the small touches done to enhance the view. I'm a bit sensitive to pet dander but was not impacted by it all and was slightly worried that it was pet friendly, but I had zero issues. We truly enjoyed our time there!

Our hosts were friendly and communicative and reached out to us during our stay to make sure any of our concerns or issues with the property could be addressed. This really made us feel welcomed. We spent a considerable amount of time in the Idyllbrook screened-in gazebo / house down by Strawberry Creek just listening to the woodland sounds, lounging, and enjoying the view. This great space really enabled us to unwind and relax. The kitchen is also amazing with so many types of bowls, pans, and cooking instruments provided (as well as spices). We always appreciate this aspect of the property whenever we stay at the property.

Wonderful cozy perfectly organized

Idyllbrook is the best rental property I ever stayed at. This cabin is in a perfect location - on a quiet street but close enough to town, and also close to all the best hiking trails in the area. The cabin has a great flat wide driveway. The house itself is very well decorated, everything is in perfect working condition. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with all appliances and utensils, so if you are in the mood for staying in and cooking, you can cook up a feast. But like I said, the cabin is so close to town that it’s easy to enjoy the wonderful restaurants in Idyllwild. The grounds around the cabin need to be mentioned - the path down to the gazebo and the brook, so pretty!! The cabin is perfectly clean, so cozy and comfortable, we spent an amazing long weekend and when we come back to Idyllwild we hope to be able to stay at this property again.

Terrific Mountain Cabin

Spent 3 nights over Xmas, house was perfect for cozy holiday time. Extremely clean, well- stocked, cute and fun. Would go again. Owners were immediately responsive and accomodating to changing dates of the stay. The town of Idyllwild is so pleasant. Great time!!

Wonderful little cabin

We spent Christmas with our two teenagers at the cabin and we had a wonderful stay. Well equipped, comfy beds, great location and nice little extras provided by the owners.
