Les quartiers d'habitation comprennent 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain, et deux salles Ă manger. Une salle de bain avec douche, l'autre salle de bain avec plus grand bain Ă remous et planchers chauffants.
Everything was great and as listed except the whirlpool bathtub was broken by the guests before us. All in all a great experience. Would stay there again.
Thanks for a great stay! We were visiting family for the 4th of July and this was the perfect place. It was hot and humid but under the shade of the big trees and a slight breeze, we were all very comfortable. There is a new BBQ so the brats, hot dogs and hamburgers were perfect. Super clean and well taken care of place. The dishwasher, bathrooms, washer, dryer were all spotless. Thanks for the great time!
This property was perfect for our family of four adults to stay in! It had all the amenities one could think of and the location was quiet, convenient and simple to access. The owners were available when we had questions and were great hosts. We would stay here again, for sure!
Located in a very private wooded area, is was calming and natural...we saw deer every morning. The owner was super responsive and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
First impression. Outside of house has not been updated much.
Upon seeing the outside of the house, I was very worried about the inside of the house.
The house has not been finished being updated.
While we were there, we were advised a contractor would be working on the outside concrete steps and to move our cars away from the house. It was muddy where we had to park. We then had to enter the house through the garage. The lower level entry was in dire need of a dehumidifier, to help control the overwhelming musty smell. Normal for MN.
Once upstairs, a lot of work has been completed to update the kitchen. The updated living room floor was beautiful. The rest of the house was not as updated.
It was an eclectic mix of antiques, Asian, and homey items. I enjoyed studying the antique furniture.
The owner was communicative. The contractor working on the house upset my friends but it really did not interfere with our plans.
I wish the homeowners all the best. We had more room than if 4 adults were to share a hotel room. . The air conditioner upstairs worked great. We didnât spend time in the yard because of mosquitoes, which are just a part of summer in MN. Bug spray was provided.
Having WiFi was great.
The neighborhood is slightly difficult to access and depart from due to one-way traffic.
We saw a doe and 2 baby deer in the yard.
This property is lovely. A few small tons that need attention. Owners were extremely responsive. Home may need some airing out, definite musty smell when first entering. We were there for a Scentsy conference so weâre all about the smell! Bedrooms were very comfortable. Kitchen is a dream. Dining room table is so unique. Could have stared at it for hours. I want the fridge in my own house! The outdoor space is tranquil. The fire pit is awesome! The shower in the master is also amazing. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
The home is a pleasantly unique MN home. The hosts have provided much attention to theirs guests' needs and are responsive to questions. I enjoyed the large open floor plan and felt comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend this property for your next stay in MN.
Nice house, plenty of space, comfotable. Great communication from the owner. * After a small storm, someone shoveled and cleaned off our cars in the morning. I would book again.
This was a nice home nestled on a wooded lot with a big firepit outside and two wood burning fireplaces Indoors. The house was very clean and beautiful. The mid-century decor really gave it a luxurious feel. We go TO MPLS to visit family and this was the perfect "base camp"
The property was clean, beautifully decorated and the grounds are very private. . The owner was in contact to answer questions and see if we needed anything. The kitchen is well stocked and there is chest of games and playing cards. We had everything we needed. FYI I would not recommend this home for a group with little children as there is no way to block off the entrance stairs.
This is a well kept, remodeled house. The kitchen is amazing and well-stocked. There is plenty of the add-on type stuff so you won't need to rebuy everything to cook. Plenty of room to stretch out.
A few minor negatives:
the listing says the apartment downstairs is empty; it is not, the owner's son lives there, and you share an entrance. It is not a problem, he is very quiet, we barely knew he was there.
The jacuzzi jets do not work.
The house is on a one-way road, so there are U-turns wherever you go.
None of these should change your mind, just be ready.
The interior accommodations were nice.
The family member living downstairs was no problem. Itâs in a great part of town,
but the access off the highway can be difficult. The exterior of the home needs a lot of work. Iâd give it a C.
Easy access to places. The exterior of the property surprised us as we drove up. It is fairly shabby & a gd scrub to the eave spouts etc would brighten it up. The interior remodels were great. Mixture of old & new decor. Inside was very clean & loved the big windows for view.
Convenient Twin Cities location - does and fawns in the wooded yard!
A very comfortable home decorated with lots of antique furnishings. Modern and functional kitchen loaded with stapes for cooking and eating in.
While it never was a problem, and would never be one, there is an occupied apartment on the lower level of the house. The house and apartment are entered through the same door, leading to a foyer on the lower level, with stairs up to the rental space from there.
Very attentive, nice landlord. The lower tenant is his son, also a very nice guy.
Location is very private and there is good outdoor space for cookouts or evening socials.
Would recommend this property to families, or couples. Room for two couples and/or a few children
Great place. Exactly as described. Somewhat secluded but very close to everywhere. Only complaint was that the house (especially the floors) were cold, eventhough the thermostat was at 72. Great place, but bring your slippers.
The house is well suited for a short stay. I was traveling with 4 other men and was expecting 5 beds for some reason... However, we had plenty of sofa space and blankets. Use of the washer/dryer was a plus as we were in town for an athletic tournament. *Access to the downstairs area should be requested if you plan on booking the house for larger groups.*
Our family has always enjoyed the entertainment style and comfort of this home. After 20 wonderful years, we decided it was time to bring it into the 21st century with thoughtful upgrades and modern touches. As our children have grown older, we've realized it's the perfect time for us to explore more of the world.
Included in the photo is one of the exchange students we've had the pleasure of hosting over the yearsâjust one example of the many special memories made here.
Now, we're offering our home for rent, hoping it brings as much joy to others as it has to us, while we set out to discover the beauty of other countrysides.
This home offers the ideal blend of peaceful living and easy access to the Twin Cities' best attractions. Located just outside the city bustle, you're only minutes away from the metro, vibrant theaters, scenic Lake Minnetonka and surrounding lakes, top-rated golf courses, the iconic Mall of America, Prince's legendary Paisley Park, and the lush Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Whether you're seeking nature, nightlife, or culture, it's all within reach.
Surveillance cameras are provided by Xfinity. The front driveway is visible. Cameras are also on the back deck. A ring doorbell records people entering the home.
