Perfect for couples or small families, and located in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale, this charming and characterful cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery and a vibrant local community. The area offers a variety of restaurants, traditional pubs, and unique boutiques for you to explore. The town's prime location provides easy access to both the Lakes (10 miles) and the Yorkshire Dales (1 mile), making it a perfect destination for any outdoor enthusiasts. From your doorstep, you can embark on scenic walks or cycle along numerous trails. On sunny days, why not enjoy a leisurely picnic at Devil’s Bridge (0.5 miles), where you can take in the stunning views? In the first week of September, Kirkby Lonsdale transforms with its lively Victorian Fair, creating a festive street market vibe, with lots to see and do. Every Thursday, the town square also hosts a bustling market featuring a range of delightful local produce.
Stepping into the property, you are welcomed instantly into an inviting, open-plan living space that combines the lounge, kitchen and diner. You are free to set down your bags and take a rest in the lounge, which offers the perfect place to cosy up together on those cooler evenings in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire and Smart TV. The ground floor is a social space, allowing conversations to flow freely whilst cooking in the amply supplied kitchen. Meals can be enjoyed together at the dining table or al fresco-style outside. Heading up the quirky staircase, you are led to the two cosy bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with a double bed – both rooms offer Smart TVs for those lazy mornings under the duvet.
