A stay at this cottage would not be complete without a short drive down to the local award-winning ice cream parlour - a refreshing treat after a long walk! The closest village of Masham offers everything you need from a local super market, butchers, tea rooms and bakery. For beer enthusiasts, book a brewery tour at the famous Black Sheep or Theakstons Breweries. Venture a little further afield to the attractive town of Bedale, home to quaint cafes and traditional shops is just 9.5 miles away, with the thriving market town of Leyburn 7.5 miles away. For a wonderful day out, head to Richmond, here you will find the historic Richmond Castle, Easby Abbey and boutique retailers. A stone built converted cattle shed is now home to a high-quality single-story retreat crammed with character and stylish touches.

Step inside the hallway, hang your coat and leave your boots and instantly feel the warmth beneath your feet. Head into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with the cosy wood burner as the centre focal point and snuggle up of the sofa and watch a movie on the Smart TV or simply relax on the armchair with a good book. The open-exposed beamed ceilings provide a light and airy feel yet cosy at the same time. Every window gives to a worthy view which is sure to stop you in your tracks. Within the kitchen area is everything you'll need to prepare some hearty home cooking, with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and slow cooker. There is also a dining table where you can sit and enjoy your meal together. Move through to the luxurious bedroom with Super king-size bed. There is another Smart TV should you want to watch a film in bed. On warm evenings, open the bedroom door and allow the fresh Yorkshire breeze to fill the room. To complete the cottage is a shower room complete with shower and WC.

The cottage has a wrap-around outdoor garden and patio with far stretching views of the farm land. Enjoy a meal with your locally sourced produce on the charcoal BBQ and dine on the patio on the outdoor furniture or sit back and relax in the hot tub. There is off-road parking for two cars.
