We loved our stay at this property. The setting is beautiful, private, and located close to the entrance of the park. The home is warm, cozy and spacious, with everything we needed. We would definitely return to the Rhody House if we are in the area again!
Beautiful property! Peaceful and exactly as advertised. Very clean! We had a great time. Steve is a very responsive host. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Took a trip to North Cascades for mine and my twins birthday with our husbands. House was cozy and as described. Easy to get to and was the perfect location for this trip!
Rhody House was absolutely perfect for our trip to North Cascades. The house was perfectly clean and had every amenity that we needed. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
We came to hike the North Cascades. Most of our original choices were unavailable due to fire, but Rhody House is only an hour from Mount Baker trailheads as well!
Cabin had everything we needed, and more! Very comfortable beds after long hikes. Plan to return next summer :)

Another stay at your beautiful place. It was just as we remembered if not even better! Thanks for the many wonderful memories at your beautiful home. We will be back!
A very clean and spacious cabin/house with total privacy. Easy access from the highway and close to the NCNP and hiking trails. Owner is easily accessible if there are any issues. Kitchen is stocked with all appliances and cookware needed-however bring any foods/spices/etc as there is only S&P available at the cabin. Recommended for a long term accommodations.
It was a great 4 nights stay at Rhody House for our family over the Thanksgiving holiday & we believe no better way to keep some distance safely in these trying times. Access to North Cascade National Park right there and we took in plenty of relaxing fresh air on hikes as a family. Very good location indeed.
This property is in a great location. It was secluded, but also close to a couple of restaurants, a small grocery, a coffee barn, and a gas station. Itâs very clean and well appointed. A perfect home base for exploring the park. We missed the season for the rhododendrons, but enjoyed watching deer from the front porch!
This cabin is by far one of the best weâve ever stayed in through VRBO. Clean, well appointed, comfortable bed, nice shower, everything we need in the kitchen, etc. Nice to sit in the porch and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful setting without being eaten alive by mosquitoes!
Close to NCNP and the perfect place to start/end our days. Steve was super way to work with. Highly recommend.
Even though the wildfires shut down most of the National Park, we still had the most fantastic time at this cabin. The host was so communicative and recommended other hikes nearby and also texted to check on us when the power briefly went out during the night. We will definitely be back to this cozy cabin.
This is a beautiful cabin. I wish we could have stayed longer. This is a very new property, and there is basically nothing you could want that this cabin does not provide. Excellent location for accessing all the great hiking in the area. Highly recommend.
We're a professional couple from Seattle, now retired after having founded and operated a national importing company for nearly 40 years. We enjoy travel and receiving our guests as we like to be received.
Marblemount and the North Cascades are close enough to our home in Seattle to provide overnight escapes in addition to longer wilderness experiences. Those escapes kept us sane during our business careers. And when we weren't in Marblemount, all we had to to do was close our eyes and imagine ourselves being there. We called that 'A Marblemount Moment.'
You will see a sign when entering Marblemount that says 'Last Services in 74 miles.' We're at the entrance to North Cascades National Park, idyllic, with restaurants and services close at hand.
Rhody House's five-acre wooded parcel was a beautifully landscaped homestead in the early-20th century that had been abandoned (thus all the mature Rhodies!). It has been a pleasure rediscovering and highlighting its unique beauty and tranquility.
