Church group retreat

It was a wonderful place for our church worship team to stay, study, and grow together. We really enjoyed the large eating room and the outdoor lake area.

Great vacation place

Great house. We enjoyed all aspects of the house- lots of bedrooms, outdoor patio and grill, banquet room where we had a card tournament every night, large rooms, and close to Holiday World. Great place to vacation and I would recommend it to anyone! We have stayed here several times and I hope it won’t be the last.

Awesome place to stay for large family

This house was close to things to do, but also provided privacy. It was perfect for our large family and we all had a great time. Would definitely recommend and hope to return to one day.

Christmas in September

Mistletoe Manor was great. Everyone loved all the room indoors and out and the holiday decorations to add to the theme. Holiday World is so close. The house had everything we needed and more. The weather was beautiful and the kids enjoyed fishing in the pond. We would love to go back again.

A spacious home with lots of outdoor room to explore. The bonus room/banquet room was a big plus! Location and proximity to Holiday World was perfect.

Family vacation in Santa Claus, IN.

Mistletoe Manor was great. We had 10 adults and 11 kids. There was plenty of room. The catch and release pond on the property was a big hit. We would definetly go back again.

Fabulous home for our whole family

The house and property was amazing! It was just perfect for our family reunion of 17, with age ranges of 18-80+. The house has a great layout, plenty of space for us to spread out, as well as all hang out together. The banquet room was great for meals and also playing games. Everything was clean, beautiful, and the kitchen was stocked which made cooking a breeze for our large group. We hope we might get to stay again if we visit Santa Claus again.

An exceptional house to stay in. Very spacious. Loved the outdoor eating area in the courtyard. Kara was very diligent in helping us any time a problem arose. Would stay there again.

Total luxury!!

We enjoyed the stay completely. There was plenty of room for everyone to have space if needed and be together whenever we wanted! Loved it and it was so close to Holiday World. The kids didn’t want to leave for sure!!

Holiday at Santa claus

Great house. Close to Holiday World. Lots of room to spread out. We had lots of card games in the banquet room along with plenty of seating for a large group. This was our second time at this house but it won’t be our last.

great home for family vacation

We had a great stay at Kara's home. We had 8 adults and 5 children. All the rooms were large and comfortable. The 5 bathrooms were a big plus. The large room in the back of the house was especially fun, where we enjoyed games and puzzles and eating meals sometimes. The property was very fun for us - we enjoyed the firepit, basketball goal on the large driveway, ping pong table, and outdoor furniture, and the space to play frisbee and catch. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious and all the appliances worked great. Holiday world and the attractions of Santa Claus were very close, as well as several parks.

Holiday World

There was a breakdown caused by VRBO which created lack of communication to the homeowner. Once I contacted the homeowner directly, communication was great. My only complaint was the grill was not really usable. Other than that, location was perfect, size of the home was perfect and we had a great time.

Amazing

First of all, when you first get there, all you want to do is just run around and look at everything because it is just so beautiful! The banquet room is incredible! There was enough room for our group of 19 women and a 3 month old baby to all be in the living room. Plenty of bathrooms. Ample room for multiple people to be in the kitchen at the same time. Garage was big enough for 3 vehicles to park in. The fishing pond was fun too.

Beautiful home

Nice big house for a large group. Very clean and well maintained. I only gave 4 stars for the check-in process because I had not received anything by about 3 hours before check in time, but once I sent a message to the host, I received a text with the info. Also, be aware that the grill grates are rather rusty so you may not want to plan to use that. No other issues or complaints whatsoever. Very convenient location to Holiday World and Lincoln State Park. The boys enjoyed fishing in the pond. We had a great time!

Holiday celebration

Others have said this too, and agree, this house is PERFECT for a large group. The large dining room is amazing. Everyone had room to spread out. My father in a wheelchair could get around pretty easily except for getting over the threshold into the dining room. Kitchen was overall well stocked for supplies. The 2 ovens were just what we needed to fix our feast. Very festive in decoration for the holiday. Some bathrooms lacked soap. Plenty of towels. Dish Network is hooked up but nothing worth watching. We logged into our own ESPN and Hulu accounts to watch sports. The TVs do have Samsung TV so there is that. We definitely plan to come back.

Great stay

The house was well decorated and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked, but would suggest bringing large pots and pans if you're cooking for a large group. The house was right off a main street with steady traffic but very little noise could be heard in the house. Lots of yard in the back. The pond is very peaceful, the kids got a kick out of being able to see the fish. Overall it was a delightful stay and would definitely recommend the house for large groups. Very happy they provided plenty of linens and trash bags! The only negatives to speak of was the grill wasn't clean when we arrived. I had to reach out to the property manager to ask how to get into the house. The response to my inquiry was very quick. No instructions were given regarding check in or check out. We tidied up before leaving but wasn'tsure what to do about the linens. My family was very happy with our accommodations.
