Weavers Cottage~Luxury 2 bdrm cottage with views

Weavers has been recently renovated to ensure a luxury stay. Beautifully situated on a farm with views of the countryside and the sea, it`s ideally situated for those looking to explore Scotland. Only 40 minutes from St Andrews, Edinburgh & Gleneagles with easy access to public transport links and only 30 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. It really is the ideal escape. There are also local seaside towns all within a five to 10 minute drive. Enjoy your own private garden too.

Weavers Cottage is full of charm and stylishly furnished to ensure maximum comfort. The master bedroom includes a king size bed and also a safari bed for an extra person or child. The second bedroom has two comfortable single beds. The cottage can accommodate groups up to 5 guests. The cottage has been recently renovated to include all the modern luxuries of staying in a hotel. We provide complimentary, tea, local artisan coffee, marshmallows, bread, milk and eggs on arrival. Pets are welcome- please just ask first and note there is an additional charge of £45 per pet to help cover the cleaning costs. We also have strict pet rules. Pets they aren’t allowed on any of the upholstery as it’s all brand new and that pets are not allowed in the bedrooms at all.

Please note we can only accommodate a 5th guest under the age of 16 years old or a small adult as we will set up the safari bed in the master bedroom for this guest at an additional fee if £25 per night.

Please note we welcome only one pet per booking and we charge £45 extra per pet. We have very strict rules and ask that dogs are not allowed in the bed or any of the newly upholstered furniture. Extra charges may apply if this is not adhered to.

Opt for an early check-in from 2:30pm (instead of 4pm) for £15 - please message us to organise.

We provide a basket of wood for the first night but extra bags can be ordered directly with us for £15 a bag.

Travel cots and high chairs can be requested at time of booking for £15.

Situated on Banchory Farm, Weavers Cottage has rugged views over the fields. It’s peaceful and quiet, a wonderful place to relax and unwind. However it’s central location means you aren’t far from St Andews, Edinburgh and Gleneagles - all about a 40 minute drive. However for basics you have supermarkets and local fishing villages all on your door step. Lidl and Morrisons supermarket only an 8 minute drive to Kirkcaldy or the Co-op and a pharmacy in Kinghorn is only a 6 minute drive. There is a train station only 10 minutes away in Kinghorn or Kirkcaldy. Burntisland which is a ten minute drive or 5 minute train ride has a thriving high street with a number of cafe’s, butchers and ice creameries. Our favourite for a coffee is the Roasting Project. Novelli’s ice cream shop is also a favourite with the children. Drinkbetween is very close to a number of beaches. There is Seafield’s beach, Kinghorn beach and BurntIsland beach. Or jump in a car to the beautiful Silver Sands at Aberdour, a 20 minute drive, or Elie Beach and St Andrews beaches are a 40 minute drive away and offer a great range of water sports for hire.
We love animals, but as this has been newly renovated cottage we do ask that you put a request in first for anymore than one pet. There is an additional fee of £45. We ask that any pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms and if we find they have been, there could be further costs of replacing bed linen as we do have guests with dog allergies that we need to respect. We hope you understand and respect our strict pet rules. The cottage is big enough to cater for your dog’s bed and there is a private secure garden for them to enjoy.
