Welcome to La Hora Favorita, a groovy retreat in the Central Pacific with incredible ocean views and surrounded by lush jungle. This newly remodeled home is all about inside-outside living, with two swimming pools, and big decks made for yoga, sunbathing, or just hanging out. The house is full of personality, art, and creative details inspired by the band Goose, giving it a playful, feel-good energy that flows all day long. The kind of place where your favorite hour lasts all day.

Outside, you’ll find two expansive terraces, each with its own private pool, along with lounge and dining areas and a cozy two-person swing, perfect for watching sunsets and spending long, relaxed afternoons.

Lower Level (accessed from outside via stairs next to the lanai):
Two additional bedrooms offering complete privacy and a peaceful, quiet setting away from the main common spaces.
Both bedrooms feature a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom.

House Rules

La Hora Favorita is a peaceful retreat intended for relaxed stays. Loud music, parties, or gatherings exceeding the permitted number of guests are not allowed, out of respect for neighbors and the tranquil surroundings.

Location & Experiences

After a day exploring white-sand beaches, jungle adventures, or boat tours, return home to enjoy a cocktail on the terrace while dinner is prepared by a private chef. We’re happy to help arrange activities such as boat and fishing tours, catamaran trips, ATV tours, zip lining, horseback riding, private chefs, refrigerator stocking, massages, and more.

Despite its secluded location, it is conveniently situated just 90 minutes away from the airport and a short 25-minute drive from Herradura's Auto Mercado, a well-stocked grocery store.
To make the most of your stay at La Hora Favorita, we highly recommend renting a vehicle or utilizing our trusted transportation services. Having your own means of transportation will allow you to explore the surrounding area at your leisure and fully embrace the wonders of this breathtaking location.
Although our road is paved, it is suggested to get a 4x4, this will give you assurance on the steep mountain roads as well as access to explore other areas, which may not have paved roads. Please be advised that the speed limit within the community is set at 10 mph, as the roads are steep and curvy.
If you decide to hire the transportation service please be advised that booking should be done well in advance to ensure availability, as Uber services are not available in the area.

Other Details to Note
- Our pool gets serviced every Wednesday morning.
- Please be aware of ongoing construction in the community.
- Please note that there are neighboring homes nearby and some visibility between outdoor pool and deck areas.
- Parking space for up to 3 vehicles
- Housekeeping can be arranged upon request for an extra charge
- We will send you the code to our door the day before your arrival. We will be available to guests via Airbnb messenger, to assist in any needs that may arise.
- Check-in time is at 3 pm and check-out time is at 11 am. Early check-ins or late check-outs cannot be accommodated.
- The pools do not feature heating
- Power and Internet outages are rare but do happen, however this home is equipped with solar and a backup battery, as well as a reserve water tank to help minimize any interruption during your stay. However, occasional service interruptions beyond our control may occur. No refunds will be issued for these situations.
