The Space:
We are excited to welcome you to Ceramica, a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom duplex apartment located in the vibrant Ancoats district of Manchester city centre. The property features a stylish split-level layout with panoramic balcony views, two king-size bedrooms & a thoughtfully equipped open-plan living space. This apartment sleeps up to 4 guests.
Kitchen & dining area
The open-plan kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. We offer a fridge freezer, oven and grill, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, and toaster. We also offer complimentary Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, oil, and salt & pepper. The kitchen island doubles up as a breakfast bar, with 4 additional bar stools. There is also a dining table, perfect for enjoying a meal together with family and friends. This space also offers an excellent workspace for those who may be travelling on business.
As this property does not include a dishwasher, the following washing-up essentials are provided: washing-up liquid, 1 washing machine capsule, sponge, dish cloth, and 2 bin liners.
Bedrooms
There are 2 king-size bedrooms, both fitted with blackout shades and clothing storage. The upstairs bedroom is accessible via stairs and features sleek mirrored wardrobes along with a private en-suite bathroom. The lower-level bedroom offers custom open wardrobes and side drawers, providing ample storage for an organised stay.

There are 2 bathrooms. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in rainfall shower. The second bathroom features a bathtub. We offer bath towels and hand towels, as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap.
Living area
The living area features a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime access - ideal for unwinding after a day exploring the city. Step through to the large balcony and take in sweeping panoramic views of the Manchester skyline and the canal neighbourhoods of New Islington. Whether it's a morning coffee or an evening wind-down, the outdoor space is a genuine highlight of staying at Ceramica.
Sofa Bed
The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double sofa-bed. Depending on the booked number of guests on your reservation, you may need to contact our customer service team who are on-hand to arrange a sofa bed set-up, where additional charges may apply. If you’re unsure whether you have a sofa-bed inclusive rate or for full details of our sofa-bed policy, please refer to our terms and conditions.
Location & parking
This property is located in Manchester's city centre district of Ancoats - one of the city's most exciting and culturally rich neighbourhoods. The Northern Quarter, with its independent shops, galleries, and music venues, is just a 10-minute walk away. New Islington Marina, Cutting Room Square, and Ancoats Urban Village are all within easy reach, and Manchester Piccadilly Station is approximately 1 km away. There is a public car park located across the road at New Islington Metrolink station.
Please be aware that, as with any city centre apartment building, there is potential for noise from outside and from other inhabitants of the building.
Please, note that the complimentary items are provided as a one-time courtesy and will not be replenished during your stay.
Guest Access:
Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message.
In order to protect both the property and you, our valued guest, you must complete either a mandatory deposit authorisation hold of £250 or a £40.00 non-refundable damage waiver (Please note that the Damage Waiver option is not available for bookings placed within 24 hours of check-in). This can be done on a card of your choosing via the Guest Pass. If you select the deposit authorisation hold, no monies are taken from your card unless damages are caused during your stay, or additional fees are incurred. This may be for things such as late check-out, undeclared guests, and/or extra nights. The deposit authorisation hold is usually released with 1 working day of check-out.
Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification and deposit authorisation hold are complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete.

Getting Around:
When you walk out the front door of the building, you are right across the road from New Islington Metrolink tram station. From here, you can take the metro straight into Manchester City Centre via Manchester Piccadilly train station. You can also take the metro directly to the Etihad Stadium and/or the new Co Op Live arena. If you prefer, you can walk to the stadium or arena in 10-15 minutes. Behind the tram stop is New Islington Marina with a lovely selection of bars and restaurants - perfect for a sunny day.
Other Things to Note:
Please note we do not manage the building and cannot be held responsible for any maintenance issues in building communal areas. If the elevator is out of order, you will be required to take the stairs up to the 3rd floor to access the apartment. We ask our guests to kindly respect our neighbours. We also encourage you to read our house rules for full transparency of our terms & conditions prior to booking - these can be found on our website. By booking your stay, you agree to abide to our terms & conditions.
