Lisbon Stay @ Santa Catarina

The apartment is close to a bar and is located in the area where the annual Santos Populares festivities take place during the month of June, so it is a busy area where noise can be expected.
Car access is limited in this area and only certified taxis (not Ubers), residents and emergency vehicles can enter.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a typical Portuguese building (access to the building is via stairs, as is typical in the Bica neighbourhood). Surrounded by the best viewpoints, boutiques, metro stations, restaurants, and cafes in the city, the apartment is ideal for families or group of friends looking to sleep in the most privileged area of the city!

￫ Bedrooms
The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed (160 cm x 195 cm) and the other with two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm). Both have air conditioner.

￫ Bathroom
The apartment has a bathroom with shower.

￫ Living Room
Interior (no window) living room with a TV with cable connection, a comfortable sofa and air conditioner.

￫ Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, oven, iron, microwave, toaster, washing machine, kettle and Dolce Gusto coffee maker (coffee not included).

After 22:00, a €25 late check-in fee applies (paid in cash upon arrival).

On the day of your arrival, a member of our team will be at the apartment to welcome you. To avoid any delays, please inform us your flight number and the estimated time of arrival at the apartment with at least 48 hours in advance. The information we’re requesting is very important for us to coordinate our team and to provide you the best welcoming experience. Without that information we cannot guarantee you a prompt check-in, so your cooperation is very important.

Just a 5-minute walk from Luís de Camões Square and Baixa-Chiado metro station, Santa Catarina is a privileged area due to its centrality, and is a popular neighborhood for locals and for tourists. When mentioning Santa Catarina, the first thing that comes to mind are: the Santa Catarina Viewpoint and the Bica Street.

Santa Catarina Viewpoint, or also known as Adamastor, is one of Lisbon's favorite meeting places, attracting groups of young people, also tourists and families who gather to have a glass of beer or wine while admiring the Tagus River and the magnificent colorful sunset of our city.

And the most photographed street in Lisbon is probably Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo. It is in one of the most typical and lively areas of the city, known for its small bars and above all for the emblematic funicular that runs through it. Constantly photographed by tourists, the funicular goes up and down the hill since 1892. Bica offers a beautiful view and maintains the colorful buildings of the 17th and 18th centuries, many of them always with open doors and balconies with flower pots and clothes on the clotheslines.

These two points are the most striking in the neighborhood, and also the ones that give it the most life. The fundamental axis of passage that connects these two points, and for those who circulate in the area, is Calçada do Combro. Whether day or night, there is always movement, and a huge diversity of shops, restaurants, cafés, book shops, people and everything you need to discover the city!

If you are arriving by plane from Lisbon Airport, there are a few options to get to the apartment.

￫ Metro
The trip takes about 25 to 30 minutes. Take the metro at the airport and change to the green or blue line, your stop will be in Baixa-Chiado and will be just 5 minutes from the apartment.

￫ Cars
Taxi or Uber are also possibilities to reach the apartment, but for a faster and easier arrival, please contact us so that we can provide a transfer service to pick you up at the airport (subject to extra charge).

Please note that there is a paid garage access just 300 meters from the apartment, located in Calçada do Combro.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts from 15:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.
￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.
￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
￫ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ Be aware that ''Bica'' is a very lively area of Lisbon! Some street noise can be expected, mostly during the weekend nights.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
