Sutera Home is a simple, well-kept seaside base, designed for a holiday with no hassle.
You arrive and feel “sorted” right away: tidy spaces, natural light, a clean atmosphere that never feels heavy.

It’s a stylish, brand-new apartment on the first floor of a villa, planned with practical care: well-laid-out rooms, no excess, everything in its place.
Days feel easy: head out to the beach, come back for a shower and a break, then linger on the veranda when the air turns cooler.

Outside, your view opens between sea and countryside, with Sciacca in the background: a quiet frame, with no noise.
It’s the kind of home that doesn’t ask you to plan too much. It simply lets you live.

🔑 ACCESS TO THE HOME (EASY & FLEXIBLE)
The apartment is on the first floor of Villa Sutera and can be reached via an internal staircase (no lift/elevator).

The villa consists of two apartments:
• one on the ground floor
• one on the first floor, entirely reserved for our guests.

During the summer season, the ground-floor unit may be occupied by us, the owners.
In any case, the two homes have their own privacy and independence, ensuring a quiet and peaceful stay.

All the areas described in the listing are entirely and exclusively at your disposal.

🔑 CHECK-IN: IN PERSON OR SELF CHECK-IN
Whenever possible, check-in is in person by 9:00 PM, so we can welcome you and explain everything calmly.

If you arrive later, or if you prefer total independence, self check-in is available with key collection via a code lockbox.

The code and all instructions will be sent before arrival.

⚠️ GETTING AROUND & MOBILITY
🚗 A car is recommended to move independently to Sciacca’s centre, the beaches and the main attractions, given the home’s quiet and secluded location.

🚌 The local bus runs only at certain times and on limited routes.
🚕 Private taxis are available (❌ no Uber or similar services)

ℹ️ A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:

• Mosquitoes during warm seasons:
As in many coastal and countryside areas of Sicily, mosquitoes may be present during the summer months, especially in the evening hours.
We recommend keeping the windows closed in the evening and, if desired, using personal insect repellents.

• Beach and neighbourhood during high season:
During the central summer months, the beach and surrounding homes may be busier.
Despite this, the house maintains privacy and independence, set within an orderly and quiet residential context.

• Distance Home → Renella Beach:
Renella Beach can be reached in a few minutes also on foot.
The route includes a downhill walk on the way there and an uphill walk on the way back: feasible, but to be carefully considered especially during the hottest hours.
For greater comfort and freedom of movement, a car remains the most practical solution, especially in summer.

🛏️ USE OF THE 2nd BEDROOM (BOOKINGS FOR 2 GUESTS):
If you are 2 and would like to use the second bedroom as well, we simply ask you to let us know in advance so we can prepare it.

📜 HOUSE RULES TO KNOW AND ACCEPT BEFORE YOUR STAY:

📝 CONTRACT + 🆔 IDENTIFICATION (MANDATORY):
After booking, you will receive:
• the Tourist Rental Contract to be signed digitally — we use the written form as required for rental contracts (Law 431/1998, art. 1 c.4 + DL 50/2017).
• the Link for Document Registration (ID), necessary for communication to the police authorities (art. 109 TULPS / Alloggiati Web).


🗑️ WASTE MANAGEMENT (MANDATORY):
Separate waste collection is mandatory and must be complied with according to the municipal calendar, which you will receive in the house manual and which will be explained at check-in.
🚫 Waste must never be left inside the house for any reason.
🕗 Every evening, you must place the bins with the bags outside the gate, following the indicated calendar.


🚭 SMOKING:
Smoking is prohibited inside the house (including electronic cigarettes). Smoke detectors are present and will trigger the alarm.
✅ Smoking is permitted on the veranda/outdoor areas.


🩴 CLEAN YOUR FEET WHEN RETURNING FROM THE BEACH:
When returning from the beach, it is mandatory to thoroughly clean your feet before entering the house and climbing the stairs.
Sand on the stairs can cause slipping and compromise your safety.
